We had the most wonderful experience in Uganda. Everything about this tour was excellent - it was perfectly organised and included once-in-a-lifetime activities, kind and accommodating staff, delicious food, beautiful accommodation and fantastic communication throughout. We told our lovely tour guide, Allen, that we wanted to try some local food so she brought us to the home of an acquaintance, who cooked us a big feast. Richard was fantastic to work with from beginning to end. Before the tour, there were times I e-mailed Richard when it would've been in the middle of the night for him, and I still received a response minutes later. At one point the A/C in our car stopped working, and the next day Richard sent out a new car with working A/C for us to use, despite us being on the other side of the country (we never requested it - they were just very proactive!). He picked us up from the airport (quite rare for a tour CEO to do so) and called me at the end of our trip to discuss our experience. The staff really went above and beyond to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. We really couldn't have asked for anything more and we’ve come home with a lifetime of amazing memories. Right now I want to go back to Uganda!

The primates were the highlight but enjoyed all aspects of this trip.
- by AngelaThe wildlife, of course the chimps and gorillas but also a huge variety of animals and birds. And the scenery was very beautiful and very varied.

I can't recommend this for enough. Geofrey our guide was amazing. He treated us like family and have us the best experience in such a short time in Uganda. The Gorillas have left us speechless. What a privilege that we are able to sirens time with these majestic creatures in their habitat. The trek is very well organised and the tour guides for the trek were awesome. Geofrey, made sure that we were looked after by reputable locals whilst doing village tours. We really enjoyed our time and couldn't have asked for anyone better to guide us they this experience.
- by tracyOur guide/driver Geofrey is an extremely knowledgable guide for our journey that included river rafting on the nile, chimpanzee trekking, game drives in national parks, and gorilla trekking in Bwindi. All local guides and rangers showed knowledge of the animals, fauna, and local lifestyles. We also experienced several community and cultural experiences in small towns and rural areas, with opportunities to participate in the activities. Lodges were high quality, safe, and splashing with Ugandan local flavor. I felt very safe in all parts of Uganda.

It was a beautiful drive and fascinating lanscape
- by Ivy DeanThe tour guides and drivers were very accommodating and were obviously making sure we had the best experience they could provide. There was a problem getting on the plane to Uganda. I did not have a visa but G Adventures assured me I could get one at the airport. I had to spend an extra day in Nairobi obtaining a visa and then rent a taxi go catch up with my group. They need to insure that all paperwork is done in advance and stress this in their literature. Also, there was no representative from G Adventures at the airport when we checked into our flight. This would have helped.

I enjoyed this tour but there is some room for improvement in my opinion. There was a mixup with my hotel reservation and therefore I was required to spend my second night at a much lower quality hotel than the first night. I believe I should get a refund of some amount since I paid for two nights at the higher quality hotel. In addition, our tour van’s air conditioning did not work .my guide Alex was excellent!

This was a MEMORABLE trip! All 3 staff, Heston, Westinghouse and Alois, were 5 star in every way. I'm my opinion, a better more upscale hotel would be a good start to thus trip. I found the Kenya Comfort Hotel to be seriously lacking. For the amazing day at Maasi Mara, please include the price of the jeep in the tour. There is no way we could have seen what we saw if we had been in the big bus. Please also upgrade the bus to include an electronic ice chest. We all purchased beverages that needed to be chilled, and ice was almost impossible to find. Finally, the tents are old, heavy and difficult to assemble. Please consider a tent upgrade for the future.
- by Richard BentleyHad a fabulous and unforgetable camping adventure. Very well organised with our amazing tour guide, cook and driver. In our 60's we were the oldest couple, but as long as you're fit you can do this. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

i took this tour early in Jan-2019 and not happy with my experience. Tour guide was Thomas and he was rude, aggressive and not very helpful. We travel long distance and pay a lot for these experiences, and expectation is that everything should go as per itinerary that is booked in advance but this did not happen in this case and i left not feeling very happy. Reasons: - day 1. i was expecting (as per my itinerary) to go to biwindi rain forest on day 1 for gorilla tracking but instead, guide took me to Mgahinga forest. he did not inform me of plan change. - day 2: i wanted to spend another day gorilla tracking as it was an option as per my itinerary. but Thomas refused instead he pushed for short day on Batwa trail. His reasoning was that while tourists are away for activities, he has to sit and wait all day. i was not able to get another day of gorilla tracking although it was promised as per itinerary. I did not enjoy Batwa trail. - Road trip from kisoro to Entebbe was nightmare. His driving was reckless, it took 13 hours to get back to the hotel as he was not organised and did not know the routes well. He again did not tell me the plan for the day and that i will have to wait for 2 hours (sitting alone in a bus stand) for a ferry (which we actually were not able to take). i am just glad that I made it back alive.

I booked this 11-day tour for me and my wife and kids, first I was worried that this might not be possible with kids but all went well. it was beyond our expectations. we did game drives in Murchison Falls National Park, and the view from the top of Murchison Falls was amazing, we visited chimpanzees in the Kibale forest and did Gorilla tracking and cultural encounters in Bwindi. everything about our safari went well as expected. many thanks to knowledgeable guides from Four Crane Safari.
- by Von beringeWe 15 friends had a memorable Uganda safari with Four Crane safaris guides, the highlights for our 7 days were gorillas and Chimpanzees, first day we arrived at Entebbe airport and the guides were waiting for us with customized safari landcruisers. They briefed us on the distance we are going to drive to Hotel in Entebbe, this is where our smile started, we were booked in a good luxurious Hotels. Next morning we drove into Kibale forest national park, we did cultural experience in the evening, enjoyed dancing and participated in it too, it was an amazing Adventure we have never had. We did Chimpanzee trekking next morning then proceeded to Queen Elizabeth national park where we did game drives and boat cruise, finally we reached to Bwindi on our day 5 where we did gorilla trekking on day 6, gorillas were so amazing they are human like. Guides explained to us in details. Our safari adventure to this African country with Four Crane safaris was memorable. Many thanks to organizers and guides.

Fantastic!!! Better than I even imagined. The itinerary was great, the places we stayed had such a great view. Saw so many animals!! And my tour guide Godfrey was very knowledgeable, I highly recommend him, very experienced!! People in Uganda are so friendly and welcoming. Was fed very well and delicious. Don’t hesitate taking this tour you won’t be disappointed
- by CarolynA fantastic itinerary spoiled by a very inexperienced guide and the last night of accommodation was in a local inn where I felt very unsafe and was of poor quality.

The Uganda portion was excellent. Great guides, good food, no complaints other than it involves a lot of driving, but of course there's no way around that unless you fly on your own. Highly recommend Acacia for the portion they operate. Unfortunately the local operator they used for the Mara was pretty miserable. The vans they used were incredibly uncomfortable and woefully inadequate for the terrain. We missed some viewing opportunities because of how slow they drove. Unless Acacia starts using operators with better vehicles I cannot recommend doing the Masai Mara portion with them, you would be better off booking your own.
- by Matt ZGreat tour guide (Crispen) and great driver (Ben)! I experienced a lot of new things, and both Crispen and Ben learned me so many new things. They led us to incredible animals, beautiful landscapes and they made the journey both interesting and comfortable. Two amazing persons, whom I recommend to everyone else

We loved our safari with GoExplore Safaris. Brian, the owner, put together a great itineary. Our first driver in Tanzania, Stanley, was fantastic. He was patient, kind and knowledgable. We always felt safe and we learned and saw so much with him. The Serengetti was everything we hoped it would be. After a few days in Tanzania, we crossed into Kenya and joined our next guide, Joseph. Joseph was equally amazing. We enjoyed his company he assured our time in Kenya was memorable. We saw so much in Maasai Mara thanks to his expertise. On the Uganda side, we met our lovely guide, Rachel. We loved learning about life in Uganda from Rachel. She taught us a lot about the local customs, food and way of life. She has a great eye and made sure we saw lots of wildlife during our long hours in the car moving from one location to the next. We loved our time in Uganda and made memories to last a life time gorilla & chimp trekking. The only suggestions that may have made this trip better would be 1. an option to upgrade hotels for an additional cost (most hotels were more than fine but it would have been nice to upgrade if different/better accomodations were available), and 2. An option to fly between some locations as we spent a lot of time in the car (I will say the drive was beautiful, despite some roads not being great and we saw sooo much more of Africa than we ever have before flying in bush planes). We booked this late and during busy season and we are absolutely satisfied with our experience. Thank you Brian, Rachel, Stanley, Percius and Joseph for crossing this incredible adventure off our bucketlist. :)
- by Alexandria SalinasI did a 11 day safari with GoExplore across Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda. I had an amazing time and the guides in each country took really good care of me, were very professional and great at their job. I saw so many animals in the Serengeti and Masaai Mara and on the chimpanzee and gorilla treks. It definitely helped to have GoExplore assist with the whole coordination of the safaris across the three countries and they really took the time to personalise the trip to my preferences. The accommodation arranged at each of the respective countries were clean and comfortable. Beyond the safari itself, they also helped coordinate a trip to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Uganda on very short notice. Communication was great. I would highly recommend booking a tour with GoExplore.
