This is a well established trip with leaders that know what they're doing. Also truly one of the best hikes in the world.

The trip was well organised, the guides were exceptionally skilled and highly qualified (Maila was an exceptional assistant guide, and leader when Ram was dealing with group members with illness), the trip itself was excellent, with a great itinerary and a good mix of structured activities and free time when not hiking.

We did the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek in December 2022. We loved that it was the off season, so the trails & guest houses were relatively quiet. The temperature was colder than in peak season, but we didn't mind, as it was sunny & clear pretty much every day. Our guide, Achut, was amazing! He was incredibly knowledgeable, pointing out plants & animals, and explaining about the mountains and culture all along the way. He also caught on quite quickly that I am slightly clumsy, especially on steep downhills, and always gave me a hand for stability on the tricky parts. We could tell that Achut was a very experienced guide because he knew all of the best guest houses to stay and eat at and the best spots for a photo op. He also kept us going at a perfect pace and resting in strategic spots, so that we didn't experience any altitude sickness. Our porter, Nabin, was excellent. He was always smiling and checking in to see how we were doing. Having Nabin carry our sleeping bags and the majority of our clothes, made the trek so much more enjoyable because we were able to focus on the beautiful surroundings, rather than being exhausted from trying to carry everything ourselves. We really lucked out getting Achut and Nabin as our trek team. If we ever make it back to Nepal, we will definitely request to trek with them again. When booking our trip, we were helped by Nabin from the Nepal Social Treks office. He was very kind and flexible in helping us postpone our trip for a few days when we both got sick in Kathmandu. He also helped us organize a few other activities during our time in Nepal. Overall we thought Nepal Social Treks was a great company and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any of our friends and family. Peregrine's Annapurna Base Camp trek for beginners exceeded expectations! Pre-trip info eased concerns, and the trek itself was breathtaking - mountains, villages, the works! Guides were fantastic, pacing perfect for newbies. Delicious food, comfy teahouses, logistics handled flawlessly. Highly recommend for adventure seekers! ☕️

The Annapurna Sanctuary Trek with Peregrine Treks was the perfect adventure for me as a senior. The guides were experienced and knowledgeable, and made sure we had plenty of time to rest and acclimatise to the altitude. The trek itself was challenging but manageable, and the views were absolutely stunning. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this trek to anyone looking for a memorable adventure, regardless of their age or experience level

Good tour, friendly team, efficient service. I booked last minute, and had the tour to myself (so no porter). My guide on the trek, Subash, was good at keeping me informed with the weather conditions & safety aspect, and kindly lent me his crampons. No T shirt, but plenty of great memories of a beautiful country.

Annapurna Base Camp trek led by AngDawa (guide) was an experience, i will never forget! It was well-organized, the guide as well as the porter took a really good care of me and i felt safe and comfortable in every situation. I can't thank AngDawa and RinjiDawa (porter) enough for making this trip one of the most amazing and memorable experience i have ever had. And special thanks for Ram - who organized everything from the office and was always available and helpful. Sure thing, one day i will return to Nepal and will definitely book my next trip with the same company and guide!

Absolutely Stunning ABC, Annapurna Base Camp Trek was beautiful and challenging. Tea houses were very comfortable to stay in along the entire length of the Trekking journey. If you are more into hiking then you must do this trek.

I wanted to have challenge, experience new culture in friendly environment and I received all that!Staff in UK and Nepal were very supportive. Our guide Prem was fabulous and all tead extremely friendly. What was the most inspirational moment of your trip? Visiting new places.We were well looked after and given space to do what we wanted. This was an amazing trek into a beautiful mountain range; We had stunning views of snow capped mountains throughout the trip.  Walking along paths used by locals, livestock and visitoors alike gave a real insight into local village life. What was the most inspirational moment of your trip? The first view of the range above base camp, including Annapurna (One & Two) and "Fish Tail", was truely memorable. What did you think of your group leader? Our local tour leader was wonderful; very patient, trustworthy, knowledgeable and fun; although he did cheat at cards a bit! Do you have any advice for potential travellers? Take ice grips / crampons if going early season.  We walked through ice and snow on some very steep paths for the two days to Annapurna base camp.  A good level of fitness beforehand and some experience of hill walking made the trip much more enjoyable. Is there anything else you would like to add? If you get a chance go for it!
