Great and knowledgeable tour guide. Was very helpful when activities were canceled and changed by the weather. I would add that I did not know there would be families on the tour with children under 10. There was tears/ tantrums/loud during talks/instructions ect with some of the children and as a solo traveller I was getting a bit frustrated. A group meal would be recommended to help break ice ect. I would also swap the snowmobiling and make that an optional activity
- by Ricky DavidsonTour more than met our expectations. Our tour guide, Stefano, was good and very helpful when I sustained an injury.

I have no complaint except for one incident, which was taken care of. The reason I'm sharing it is so it doesn't happen to the next customer. We were scheduled for a 2h husky safari from 14:00-16:30. From your office we we're scheduled for a transfer at 16:45 to Arctic Snow Hotel. Their wasn't enough time between so we were without a transfer to our hotel. We called ahead but they didn't wait. Our sweet tour guide drove us to the hotel and helped us arrange a new dinner reservations for a later time. Other then that everything was great.
- by Dawn EvansThis is a three day tour at best. NOT a 5 day tour. The overall activities were pretty sparse and lack lustre. Suitable for people over 70. The tour leader seemed tired and couldn't be bothered. The accomodation in Tromso was not 4*. There was too much free time with not enough direction on how to spend it- I was not sure what I had paid for. The reindeer safari- seriously, feeding some reindeer, a 5 minute slowest ever ride in a sleigh, and an interesting 15 minute talk on the Sami, does not a safari make! and that took 3 hours, so a lot of hanging around, again with no direction, With other tours I have been with the guide would sit and talk with us, recommend places for dinner/lunch, suggest we all go together etc. There was absolutely none of that here. The walk around Sommarsoy, was an amble for an hour. Then no direction on how to spend the rest of the time. The campfire, was an evening in a hut, popping out to stand by a small fire occasionally. No directed talk/information etc. It was a Northern lights tour and we weren't even given a talk about the Northern Lights! An expensive waste of money on my account. Would never use this tour company again.

This trip was a bucket list trip and Insight Vacations made it an absolutely incredible experience. Our tour guide Maja was the best and made the trip wonderful!
- by Courtney SampNorthern Lights tour with Insight Vacations was very well designed to maximize the experience. The tour leader Zsofi was exceptional and our most capable driver Iceman Tom made it an unforgettable experience. I loved the ease of the pace...no rush mornings as most of the activities were later into the day to ensure you were brighteyed and bushy tailed (awake) for the nighttime spectacle we came for...lady Aurora Borealis. And what a,show the fair lady put on for us...we saw her on nights 2 and 3 of the tour. Our hearts were thrilled. Mission accomplished...bucket list checked. The coach, the accommodation the optionals

Jann was a fantastic guide / driver who was kind and considerate and wanted the best experience possible for his guests!! Jann was friendly and educated/answered all questions even with personal stories! We were very lucky and had a great viewing night and Jann had prepared us for the post that we would not see anything, would highly suggest the Jann experience to everyone!

It was the most best adventure of my life! Norway has just steal my heart and arctic fjord mountains during the Arctic Cruise Tour was mind blowing. The Rendeer Tour + meet the Sami people was a great experience. You will get to know how they live and survive in the winter season. The Northern Lights tour was great, but tiring. It was a cloudy week around Tromso and we drive about 6 hours long. So you need to be lucky to see the lights. The organization did very well to contact me and to arrange everything together. Nordiva Tours, Tamara was such a kind person to talk to. She is ready for me to arrange very fast for the hotel and the tours. Norway at Tromso is a must to explore around. At February was a breathtaking experience in Norway. You see that the country is full of snow and ice! Very much a like Winter wonderland. I will be back next year in the summer season!
- by Rishi Dheeradj Kumar BindaThoroughly enjoyed the tour. Tromso area was beautiful and pre-arranged tours were very good. Hotel was OK. Night in Camp Tamok and the activities there were great. We had a break in our Hotel Stay in order to stay in a glamping pod for one night - the tour itinerary stated : morning activity, Pack and store luggage, then collected for the night away. In reality we had to pack and store our luggage before the morning activity which meant that after we finished we had 4 hours with no access to an hotel room. Had it been arranged for us to retain the hotel room for a couple of hours after normal check-out time, that would have been more convenient. Having seen the advertised prices of the individual activities and accommodation, i think the tour package was expensive.

Wonderful experience! The organization made us do a lot of different activities, making the trip perfect in every aspect: the activities were various, the price was the best you can find and they are ready to help in every situation. Even in difficult moments they are able to find the best solution keep the travel amazing as they promised. The guides are also super friendly!! Super suggested experience

The intinery arranged was full of hiccups
It never happened because my luggage was lost and I had to cancel AND NO ONE stepped in to help me out to find my luggage at the AMS airport where it was lost. I called to tell them (let me tell you it was virtually impossible to get a live operator at Tourradar, but finally did) (Nordic Unique travels doesn't answer any messages over the weekend) and they were like well, I'm sorry, too bad, call the tour operator (Nordic Unique Travels). I did and they were like gee it's too bad but we can't help. OH YES, you speak the language and can get the luggage to me so I can continue the trip. BUT Nothing was done and I had fly back home the next day! NOT RECOMMENDED!

I need to clarify that my tour guide Alma was great and she was very sweet and helpful. My issues have to do with GJ Travel and the fact that they did not provide me with all the excursions they posted in their itinerary, but they still charged me for the full price of the tour. The itinerary posted had daily excursions for the entire 4 days that I'm in Ilulissat, but my final itinerary had one free day. I was informed ahead of time by the company that the full day excursion to Eqi Glacier do not run at the end of September, and that they would replace the cruise with other activities. They never provided me with alternative activities. I found out that the cruise to the glacier was still operating and the only reason why it was not included in my tour is because Alma was leaving Ilulissat to fly home on the day in question. Alma offered to book the cruise independently for me but it would mean I had to pay for the cruise out of my own pocket when it should have been included in the tour price. GJ Travel should have been honest with me about the whole situation about Alma leaving before my tour was scheduled to end. At the very least, they should have given me a discount and I could pay for the cruise myself separately.
- by Diana LeeGreat experience seeing the colorful houses of these small settlements in Greenland. We also enjoyed seeing whales, glaciers, icebergs, icefjords, and sledge puppies. Visiting with a native Inuit Greenlander in her home was so educational. There we saw narwhal tusks that her brother had given to her after he caught them. We saw all the handcrafted clothing made by her by hand out of sealskin and beads. At the end of that visit, we were able to purchase some of the crafts she had made. Our guide was very helpful at finding vegan food for us, including making the sandwiches herself for our boating days. The only downside was that sometimes neither the guide nor the hotel seemed to know which meals we had already paid for and were expecting to be part of the package. If I hadn't spoken up, we would have paid twice for two dinners at the hotel. But all in all, I highly recommend this tour.

It was amazing .Our guide was very knowledgeable and it was lovely listening to him. The quality of the hotels was top class with excellent service. In general the this tour was fantastic and worth every penny.
- by Oona KorpelaMISLEADING COVID POLICY AND RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE I am very sad to say I was truly disappointed with my experience with this travel agency. I booked a journey for the Northern Lights experience, but the information regarding the covid policy was highly confusing and contradictory. I have asthma which prevents me from being able to wear a face mask for a prolonged time. The bus tour was going to be about 12 hours and I kindly asked customer service if it was truly necessary to wear a mask during all this time. They bluntly respoded 'YES', This information was, by the way, really hard to find on their website, and I was confused from the beginning by all the different 'policies', which seemed contradictory to each other. In the end, I had to cancel, only to get half of my money back and find out later, by a friend who attended that trip, that they actually did NOT had to wear a mask at all during the bus trip... In other words - customer service lied to me about the face mask policy and they took half of my money for the trip, even though I cancelled in time. Can't even express my disappointment. Terrible!

The tour was excellent. The itinerary was excellent as was our guide Leo. Our only issue was that in Dawson City, our hotel was not serving any food or beverages. Its bar and restaurant were closed. This was because of renovations by new owners to the hotel which should have been known and remedied by our tour provider. It was not satisfactory having to look for alternatives in cold, snowy conditions,
- by Wendy MorrisonThis company answered all my questions before the trip very quickly. Thanks to Karin. The Arctic Adventure was incredible for me. As a Canadian - the history, the First Nation communities, the scenery - stepping into the Arctic Ocean, being in Tuktoyaktuk, etc. I must mention our Tour Guide Leo. He did an amazing job of driving The Dempster under sometimes difficult circumstances. I felt very safe during our travels. Thanks to you, Leo.

Quark cancelled the cruise because of Covid 19 but has refused to refund our $9,030 deposit. Etihad airlines refunded our flight money but Quark refuses, saying we have credit until 2023. How laughable is that. My husband will be 83 in 2023 and there is no real prospect of the Australian Government allowing us as Australians to leave Australia in the foreseeable future. Quark is therefore shamelessly pocketing thousands of dollars of us and no doubt others.. The pandemic has meant that future travel will always be uncertain, Other companies like Ponant are being far more understanding so avoid Quark. They have no ethics and are greedy. You have been warned and I am disgusted.
