Everything was amazing! Our group leader really took care of us,from making sure we were all ok to getting us to some of the greatest places to stop for break or lunch and supper. She made sure we all could keep up & she was always smiling . I would definitely do this tour again !
- by Deborah DolanIntrepid does an outstanding Portuguese Camino 10 day trip! Was well organized and conducted, kudos to the Tour leader, Margareta. Especially liked the accommodations and the added extras like wine tasting, oysters, and celebration dinner in Santiago❗️

Our guide, Jordi. The people we met on our journey who opened their living spaces to the pilgrims. The other pilgrims and their stories. The time to reflect and consider. The pool at one of the hotels we stayed in
- by LisaJordi curated our walk with great care and attentiveness to all our needs. He managed our expectations every step along the way. As a tour guide he gets 10 out of 10. But way more than this, Jordi is simply one of the nicest, kindest, most open-hearted people it has been my pleasure to meet. The friendships created under his care, and including him are a treasure from this Camino. My heartfelt thanks to Jordi.

What a wonderful way to enjoy the Spanish country's and some of its religious history that walk the last 130km of the Camino. It will not always be easy (hot humid days increase the risk of blisters) but the experience is worth every ouchie. The towns, accommodation and people are generally amazing even if the quality of food is a bit uneven until you get to Santiago. But food and drink incredibly cheap. Brilliantly organised and led by our Spanish guide David who went above and beyond to ensure we all had a memento experience. Definitely to be recommended to everyone with the capacity to have a decent walk
- by Bernie De VriesFabulous trip cycling through beautiful countryside and villages. Alfonso and Miguel were highly organised and very helpful. Exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who likes to be challenged and feel connected to nature and history. The abundance of colourful wildflowers on our journey was truly remarkable.

Great tour. Good transfers and accommodations. Suggest that breakfast be served earlier at ALL hotels and no later than 7 AM since we need to START walking no later than 7:30 AM to cover the long distances. Taxis also need to show up on time. Also do some research and let clients know where public laundrys are located near hotels. These suggestions would make your tour even better.
- by Anthony (Tony) LuceroWe arrived at our first nights accommodation in Sarria to be. Advised that there was no reservation under our name. Coupled with this, the accommodation advised was a 1 star apartment, not the Nice Hotel we had been originally advised. After being stuck in the footpath with luggage for an hour, desperate unanswered calls to TourRadar and the operator, UnCommon Tours, a new 1 star apartment was negotiated with the local slumlord. Next adventure was obtaining our dinner ma e real fast. We had no vouchers and nobody knew anything about them. It was a complete debacle and we were wondering if we’d been catfished. The remaining accommodation was reasonable quality, but unfortunately was nowhere near the location we hiked to. Some were upto 20km away and all required taxis to get toZ this really spoiled the vibe of doing the Camino - when you need to get taxis to and from the trail. Communication with the operator was poor and only via WhatsApp. TourRadar could not be contacted and merely clipped the ticket - no support at all. As a result, we will be advising all our friends to be wary of your radar as a provider as you don’t monitor quality of operators and don’t help when there is a problem.

As a solo traveller this tour gave me security. The process was seamless and the stays all exceeded my expectations. One note to travellers, make sure that stays don't charge you for dinner that is included in the package. But overall, very worth the upfront costs.
- by CathI'm interested in bike-packing and thought that using a service like UTracks would be great for my first experience. The main point was to have a reliable and efficient safety net should anything go wrong. On my fourth morning, my bike could no longer shift gears. I called the emergency line to their partner and was able to reach their voicemail. I called serval times and left messages. No response for over an hour. I emailed a contact directly at UTracks letting them know. Then emailed that contact and the info email for the their partner. Roughly a half hour later I got a phone call from their partner. When I spoke with their rep they let me know that they would send a taxi to come get me and take me to a repair shop that would have me back on the road by 2pm. When I arrived at the shop it was closed for siesta and would not re-open until 4:30pm. The rep promised that they could have me back on the road by 5pm. These would leave me roughly 3 hours to bike about 20 miles in the rain. The rep offered to get me dinner to make up for it. With my booking dinner and breakfast were included. Which didn't feel adequate for missing an entire day of an experience. The third party did get me a taxi to my last destination for the night. UTracks response to this was that there are sometimes challenges with travel and that their partner went above and beyond to help me. I hired a service to mitigate these situations not to increase the stress through poor coordination and lack of thinking ahead. It was clear that the rep did not coordinate with the bike shop and the time estimates given were not based on conversations that she had with the shop. When I waited for the taxi to take me to my final destination for the night, the gate on the shop was down. Indicating that either the shop was closed for the rest of the day and that someone was in around to close the gate. Throughout the process the rep failed to communicate effectively or set realistic expectations. They gave different answers on the phone, in person and via email. Whenever things fell through, dinner was offered again. I asked for a refund for service provided that day and was given less than my estimate, $1,500.00 / 7. Fine, but there was no cost breakdown. To try to soothe my frustation UTracks made a dinner reservation for me and let me know that they went above and beyond for me. I was clear with both parties throughout that I didn't want dinner. Continuing to offer it showed me that they weren't listening to me. During the conversations with UTracks and their partner I realized that they sent me to the bike shop because of the relationship they had with them, instead of finding a shop closer to my location. When the bike was dropped off at my hotel it was left out in the rain with no instruction to the hotel staff. I was the only person at the hotel, so it was easy to figure out it was mine. I realized that putting in the effort before the trip with booking hotels, or rolling the dice and seeing what hostels had room would have been a better option. There are several services that can transport your luggage from hotel to hotel. One person I met spent 26Euros for over 2 weeks of that service. Shipping a bike from the USA can be roughly $100 not including packing materials. Plus, the food. Most of the dinners were the same. All the hotels had a cheaper menu that was made to seem bigger. Three courses costing between 13 and 18 Euros for dinner. All the hotels seemed to have the same menu. I ended up eating a lot during the day to experience the local food, have more variety and often better quality. For less or the same amount of money that was noted on the menu. I may not have caught this when I booked, but there will be a mix of hotels and hostels. The hostels have different rules and don't always communicate their rules. I was locked out of my hostel for an our until I randomly met someone that explained that my room key was the same key to use to get back into the hostel. I don't think this was worth the money.

Everything about this trip far exceeded our expectations. All three of the tour guides were excellent: friendly, professional, very knowledgeable about Portugal, and patient. All of the planned meals were incredible, and differed each day, highlighting the local area. All of the hotels chosen were wonderful; we'd highly recommend each hotel on its own merit. The off-bike activities added quite a bit to our appreciation of the cities and of Portugal.
- by TimBrewingtonAmazing Trip. Excellent Organization. Great accommodations and meals. Friendly staff. The best bike trip I had so far and I've done many.

- by Pat & Don PeckoPino & Caroline Nobile provide personalized high quality walking experiences. The planning that went into the Camino walk was obvious including the selection of walks, excellent hotel selection and amazing dining experiences. This was our 4th Caspin Journey's walk and lived up to the expected quality we have experienced previously. We look forward to our next Caspin Journey.
