A very well organized trip with good guides! Unfortunately a bit heavy on monasteries and churches. Instead, you could also include brutalist architecture (which is just as much a part of these cultures) and abandoned copper mines, for example.
- by Sergio BergaminA great trip to lesser known slightly off-the-beaten track destinations. Would love to see you doing a more extensive tour in Georgia - the Weet of the country sounds fantastic.

A very good look at Georgia thanks to the itinerary and our guide (Vakho). Being a private tour meant changes to suit us were possible. Accommodation was good and the included meals were overly generous. For a country that invented wine it was a pity that the wine servings at meals were not as generous as the food.
- by Jack McBrideLots of interesting things and good variety. Guide well balanced, flexible and helpful. Overall excellent thanks.

Enjoyed the 11 night , 12 day tour of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia thoroughly. Sakura is a a Georgian company so we found the days better planned, the accomodation better, and the transport better in Georgia than the other countries. Ilona, the guide in Georgia, was also by far the best guide of the three we had. The programs are set by Sakura for Armenia and Azerbaijan but they just don't seem to come together as well as in Georgia. Also the planning is a bit off in Armenia and Azerbaijan -- for example in Yerevan Armenia, they didn't even originally include the holocaust memorial at all which would be like arranging a tour in Israel and leaving out Yad Vashem. The group was able to get the guide to at least let us see the eternal flame at the holocaust memorial but it was on a day when the museum itself was closed. At the same time in both Armenia and Azerbaijan they throw in some stops to break up the long trips between cities but they are often not worth the stop so that it just lengthens an already long day. The restaurants chosen for the included meals were excellent in all three countries.
- by Glen NicholsWell organized trip involving 3 countries, each with their own guide and driver. Interesting countries with their own language, culture and history. I would have enjoyed hearing more from the guides as we drove along on our sometimes long trips. I would have preferred staying an extra night in Yerevan rather than travelling all the way back to Tbilisi for the last night. It was a long drive and another border to cross. Hotels were very good and well located. The day often started so late that we returned back or arrived into our next location quite late. Earlier start, please, even if it means a breakfast box instead of a sit down breakfast. Overall, a good trip to see fascinating of-the-beaten-track countries.

I want to start with a shout out to our exemplary guide Giorgio. He was well informed, super efficient, and above all, patient. I was not the easiest client - being 22 years older than the next oldest participant, but, Giorgio never let me feel I was a drag, always helped me over the rocky bits, included me and was the epitome of kindness and consideration. The trip was great. Good diversity of days - some energetic, some less so. All the hotels were super comfortable and so was our little mini bus. The sites we saw were all interesting and beautiful and the scenary was amazing. The history of the region is dense and complex and I need to do more reading to appreciate what I saw. It would be useful to have a more extensive reading list. We were a small group of 4. There were no fights - that I know of! And we all collaborated well, and took an in depth appreciation of what we saw and heard. I think my highlight was the small group of musicians we saw and heard in Telavi. Truly beautiful a capella singing. Personally I could have done with a bit more ‘shopping time’, especially for fabrics and rugs, but that’s just a motivation to go back again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the pleasure of taking a tour led by Levan, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I've ever had! From start to finish, Levan showcased an incredible blend of knowledge, enthusiasm, and charisma that made the entire journey unforgettable. Levan is a true expert in local history. His depth of knowledge was impressive; not only did he provide fascinating facts and stories, but he also answered every question with confidence and clarity. It was clear that Levan is passionate about what he do, and his enthusiasm was contagious! What really set Levan apart was their ability to connect with each member of the group. He took the time to understand our interests and preferences, tailoring the tour to ensure everyone felt engaged and included. This personal touch made the experience not just informative but heartfelt. The tour was impeccably organized. Levan had a well-planned itinerary that flowed smoothly, allowing us to maximize our time without feeling rushed. He struck the perfect balance between informative stops and moments for us to explore and take photos. In today’s travel climate, safety is paramount, and Levan ensured that all necessary precautions were taken. - by rahul shankarI recently had the pleasure of joining a tour with Glad Travel in Georgia, and I can’t recommend them enough! From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Our guide Mr Levan was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories about Georgia's rich history and culture with a friendly, engaging style that made the trip feel like a conversation with a good friend. Not once did we felt he was doing business. The itinerary was well-organized and perfectly balanced, allowing us to explore popular attractions in a timely manner. We wandered through the charming streets of Tbilisi, visited stunning monasteries, enjoyed the KTW Winery, and took in breathtaking panoramic views from the Gudauri viewpoint—an experience I won’t soon forget. One highlight was the suggestion for an authentic local restaurant where we enjoyed some of the best traditional Georgian food -Ostri, Khachapuri & Ojakhuri were standout dishes ! The recommendations for places to eat were spot on. If you are person who loves history, a foodie, or a person who likes to explore,Levan will make your journey unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend Glad Travel to anyone eager to discover the culture and lifestyle of Georgia-trust me you wont regret it. Georgia’s blend of natural beauty, rich culture, and delicious cuisine is something I’ll cherish forever!

Great first time experience in Georgia, I was doing a solo travelling so had to pay a bit more but fair enough. George, the guide was very friendly and helpful. I cannot say anything bad on the activities as most of them are booked and paid for for the guided version in museum and attraction sites. If there was no local, our main guide will talk as he knows the information. The only thing I could say to improve upon is the details for the extra activities and list how much roughly it will cost on the itinerary page. Just say the year the costs are quoted because those prices will go up every year. Some activities I had no idea what it would be like eg. The buggy ride in Borjomi. I paid for it anyway because I had no idea and wanting to know, but I wouldn't have otherwise. Maybe, this is not a part of this tour at all? More details in the itinerary would be great in general.

The tour was good overall, but there wasn't much to do in Mestia and Ushguli other than the hikes, which I would have enjoyed more if they hadn't been quite so difficult. And the roads to get to these destinations were rather treacherous and would have been even more so if the weather had been bad. I know we all agreed to go an excursion to an abandoned solarium near Kutaisi, but IMO, it was a waste of time, even though our guide highly recommended it.
- by SueAnn TodhunterIt was a journey of my dream. The country of Georgia is beautiful, the food is tasty, the guide was local, yang, very knowledgeable.

Our tour guides were well versed. They knew so much about their country(s). Accomodation and breakfasts provided were 5/5. The varying experiences were also well planned and executed. Nothing was too much trouble. We were treated exceptionally well, just like family. This was a fabulous tour. Would absolutely recommend it.
- by Lyn ellbournFascinating countries, cultures, history and people. Knowledgeable and helpful guides, great sights, experiences, high class accommodation and meals. Would thoroughly recommend this tour and Advantour as a company. They were highly organized, responsive and accommodating.

Great trip for those who have seen most of the world and want to get off the beaten track. So many wonderful things to see in these countries!
- by Heini KjartanssonOverall nice but tour Mgr was bit lacking in giving details about day to day events. He was hesitant and depended on tour guides about the schedule.

Absolutely brilliant! The guide Meri was wonderful, and I found that although there were about 20 of us, it was very personalized as we introduced ourselves at the beginning. It was a freezing morning, so the stop for hot Georgian bread made traditionally and some wine was more than perfect. Meri's knowledge was amazing and she spoke passionately and eloquently about Georgia and it's history of wine-making. Meri also described the countryside as we travelled, which was great!
Amazing sights and trips! All the 4 days back to back is quite intense, they do give you the option to change the order of the tours so if we’d do it again we would keep a resting day between all of them. On the tours itself you have awesome guides like Metro, Dimitri and in particular Ana was awesome! Would definitely recommend!

We were greeted at the airport upon arrival and the rest of the tour was amazing
- by Geoff MantheyA great driver and guide, in Moris. His history and knowledge made this trip for me. I was actually the only person doing this trip and would have preferred to know this in advance. The 3 star hotel in Tbilisi may be that by Georgian standards but is nowhere near that by European ones. The staff at the Tbilisi hotel were great and very attentive though. I'm glad I revisited Georgia and recommend others visit too.
