We booked this tour via tour radar, implemented by MTA. Perfectly arranged. Quite an amazing experience. Better to do this when you are in good health.
- by SARVESWARA RAO VADLAMANII’ll start off by saying that this trip and our experience were nothing short of amazing. Manish made sure the trip perfect from beginning to end. The private tours guides were incredibly knowledgeable and created a very memorable experience for us. After Leh, we headed to the Nubra Valley, and this is where it got even more special. The tour guide, went out of his way to ensure I had the perfect engagement spot to surprise my girlfriend (now fiancé) - we will forever remember that incredible gesture. I can’t say enough to do justice to the beauty and history of these stops. This felt like a once in a lifetime trip, and if you don’t book this - you’ll certainly be missing out on one of the best experiences in India.

Our guide and driver were excellent. The home stay was the only real disappointment as was not that at all but a bed and breakfast situation. Our room was very poor, the food was good and the staff pleasant but not a home stay where you participate in the food preparation or see how people live in the location.
- by Lauren Lee RendleHad the most amazing time traveling Kashmir & ladakh. Enjoyed every minute of the tour. Our tour guide was fantastic. Showed us all the amazing spots. We would definitely recommend Swastik India to anyone looking to travel to Kashmir & Ladakh.

I really enjoyed my tour. This is a very remote area with unique culture and nature. I 've been there at the beginning of April before the tourist season starts, so I enjoyed the absence of crowds. However, nights were very cold, some hotels did not have heating, so hot bottles were my best friends. During the day the weather were beautiful, sunny. I enjoyed snow on the passes we crossed. My guide and driver were excellent. People we met at the hotels demonstrated wonderful hospitality. The tour company that organized this travel experience was very good, professional and responded to all my requests. I was feeling so happy during this trip, in peace with nature and the world 😊

Amazing tour! We are family of four, with 2 daughters (8 and 5 years old), who dared to go to Leh in December. We had a great time and learned a lot from our guide Lotus. He was very knowledgeable and always passionate to share and discuss about everything we asked (and with our girls there were a lot of questions). We were lucky with weather, as it was always sunny and not that cold during the day. We really liked our hotel (The Grand Dragon Ladakh) with great food and really nice cozy rooms. We highly recommend this tour!

Great trip tough but enjoyable
- by James NesbittA memorable winter holiday, superbly organised and led. We went for the winter walking, the Buddhist monasteries, Leh out of season and of course the snow leopards, but even had we seen none of the latter this holiday would have been a delight. What was the most inspirational moment of your trip? The Matho Festival, when, after a day of golden sunshine and intense blue skies, joyous crowds and masked dancers, we watched one of the state oracles appear right in front of us and then leap to the rooftop wall and stand, silhouetted against the backdrop of snow and moon, mountain and crag.  And I loved walking on the frozen river! And I loved hearing wolves howling round the valley in the night! And oh, the starry starry skies! What did you think of your group leader? Valerie Parkinson is, without doubt, the best leader we have had on a group tour.  Her knowledge and skills were excellent, her care for the group was superb, and her care for individuals within the group was wonderful.   Do you have any advice for potential travellers? Take the best cold-weather camping equipment you can afford to buy.  We took Rab Expedition down bags, and down sleeping mattresses with built in pumps.  Neither of us were cold at night though the tents were thin and the temperatures very very cold.  We also took microspikes for our boots and these made walking on the frozen river a real pleasure. In Leh we were all given the opportunity to have our own guide/porter (for an additional payment).  We decided to do this and it made the holiday even more special.  We could go where we liked, when we liked because of having our own guide, who kept in touch by radio with the main group guides so could get us to snow leopard sightings very quickly.  We usually plan our own holidays and enjoy being on our own, so this was wonderful for us, like a tailormade within a group holiday.  By the way the group members were all very very pleasant and friendly. Is there anything else you would like to add? We saw four out of the nine snow leopards in the area.  An amazing tally, considering the number of people whom we met who had seen none, and that, in some cases, on more than one visit.  However we would have loved the holiday even had we had no sightings!  And would we return - well yes we might, we would try to have extra time in Leh, and we would love to take our grandson with us.

The visits in Leh and to Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake were fantastic. The guide and driver were professional and the guide had good knowledge. I was very disappointed in two things, one the Ladakh Imperial hotel, rooms were good but the service was poor. The second thing was having to cross Changla Pass twice, the road is very very poor and it would have been possible to travel to Pandong from the Nubra valley on good roads, crossing the Changla pass only once.
- by Gillian JohnJust visited Leh Ladakh, and it was an amazing experience. We visited Shey Palace, Khardung La, Nubra Valley, and the best part was camping near Pangong Lake. We did a camel safari at Hunder. The trip was well organized by Alkof Holidays, and I would highly recommend this tour. Special thanks to our driver Aslam, and to Varun, our tour manager.

I liked it a lot. Unfortunately weather wasn't too good. Thanks to the tour company.
- by Jo RadnerNamaste!!! I would like to thank you and your company for the excellently organized tour “Land of Lamas”. Your constant attention to us throughout the trip justifies the name “TourRADAR”. I would like to say a special thank you for visiting the Akshardham Temple in New Delhi and the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort in Agra, which were not included in the program. Your guides deserve special attention. I would like to note their attentiveness, care and erudition. Thank you very much again. This trip will remain in our memory for the rest of our lives and will strengthen our former love for India (Bharat), its culture and history. Sincerely, Alexander

Bout India was amazing in helping to plan a very last minute trip to the amazing Spiti valley! Initially Nitesh and Kunal were able to put together a super itinerary based on our preference, and we’re able to make their recommendations accordingly. They were able to put us at ease as we were a little apprehensive about it as we had not worked with Bout before, especially given that we had to make the entire payment upfront because of the timeframe. They were able to put us in touch with the local agent in Manali. Geet took over the communication before we reached, and was checking with us constantly throughout the trip. She was able to incorporate places that were not initially planned in the trip, and worked with Rajat, our super helpful and amazing guide along with our superhero driver Mr. Kumar for an amazing experience overall. We had a great trip thanks to Bout, and would love to get their super efficient planning skills for our future trips as well! The only thing I would like to share in terms of planning for Spiti is that from Manali, going into Spiti can be a challenging drive. Clients should be informed of the same so that they can make some informed decisions. Even though Bout was prepared for any height related issues such as carrying portable oxygen cylinders etc, it was a bit much to travel from Delhi, and then leave directly for Spiti, which is a tough drive for almost 10 plus hours on a very tricky road. But overall, a super experience with Bout, and especially during our trip with Kumar Saab, Rajat, and Geet! Kudos to the entire team!
- by Shalini A. DattaI was at Ladakh from 11 to 21 Jul and it was one of the most fulfilling and beautiful experiences I ever had. The people and ever changing landscapes were so amazing, I did not sleep during any of my car rides! Laised with Bout India's Himanshu on my customized itinerary, as I wanted both sightseeing and trekking. Himanshu was so quick in all his responses to my questions and was very assuring. As a solo traveller, the way he handled the whole itinerary planning was superb, with confidence and professionalism, yet with care and concern. I did not think twice to book with Bout India, for my trip to Ladakh. Even the hotels and homestays at the trekking villages (selected by my guide) selected were great, and I had no complains. I really enjoyed every bit of my itinerary. In fact, I deeply regretted not being able to stay longer, to visit Hanle and Zanskar Range! I will definitely visit again and choose Bout India again! At Ladakh, I met my guide, Tundup Wangial and my driver, Dorjay Namjial. The moment I saw them, I felt home and at ease. Tundup was one of the most experienced guides I ever came across, with his deep expertise and knowledge on Ladakh, her people, culture, festivals and especially on Buddhism. He always knew the answer to my queries and took the time and patience to explain everything clearly. He was also very quick to come up with alternate plans, if I could not do something. We had wonderful conversions on life and philosophy. He was really great. Dorjay, with his superb driving skills up to the narrow winding roads of the mountains, was so kind and caring, always helping me carry my heavy bag to the hotels/homestays. Geet, from Bout India, was my laison officer. She messaged and called me every alternate day to check in on me, if I'm doing great and if there were any issues. She really showed care and concern, and even checked in with my guide to see how I was doing. She was very kind with her words and it was great connecting with her on my experience at Ladakh, while being there. I was very happy to have chosen Bout India for my trip to Ladakh, who took care of every of my concern and need, and blessed to have wonderful guide and driver to take care of me while being there. Thank you Bout India, Geet, Tundup Wangial and Dorjay Namjial, from the bottom of my hear. Ladakh and her beautiful and kind people were something I really needed, for my soul and mind.
