Fabulous tour, the guide Leonora was excellent, so knowledgeable about the region in general and right down to the intricate details of the towns, war monuments and chateaux we visited. Accommodation was comfortable. Our driver Priscilla was so professional, and talented at getting a full size coach through the winding narrow laneways of many old villages.
- by Lisa BrockelThis is an excellent tour, well organised and interesting. It was led by an experienced and knowledgeable tour guide (Amelia). Accommodation was very good . Overall the tour was a great experience.

Great coverage of sites and opportunities like eating in Eiffel Tower and cooking class. Sometimes the walking pace was a little quick, which caused separation from guide in crowded spaces. Guides were outstanding and went the extra mile when I was pickpocketed. A wonderful experience. Lead guide Jonathan was informative, humorous and a joy to be around.
- by Dickinson EckhardtSometimes tour guide walked too fast. Difficult for elderly tourists to keep up.

Our tour guide (Mike) was excellent, very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He really made the trip for us. This was our first Cosmos Tours and was very enjoyable and interesting. We will be booking again! Many thanks. Alan & Pam

I celebrate my 65 birthday in Paris, my dream vacation. 4 days was just enough time to see the main sites, Effiel Tower, the Louvre, and the Paris Opera house. Recommend booking the Effiel Tower skip the line ticket and tour. We went up in 20 minutes, bypassing a 3 hour line to get up there.

In general the tour was well organized. Some stops can be omitted in order to visit the city we are sleeping in. We had an English speaking guide together with a Spanish guide which made things easier. The emergency line of Europamundo was of great help. They were caring and responded quickly for a problem that I had in my hotel reservation. I was very satisfied and every year I travel with them.

Overall the tour was better than expectations and good value for money. Positives Small boat, easy to get on and off. Pleasant route and adequate time to explore towns. Friendly staff, lovely food and generous with alcohol Length of trip was just right. Areas for improvement More tables for 2 🙏 please. We spent all week dining with a couple and their young child. Boat in need of some renovations and modernisation Our room was noisy at times with children running above our room and noise from bar/ reception area
- by Jill WattsThe communication between TourRadar & Crosieurope seem to break down in terms of preparing us for the excursions (except for Fontainebleau). Excursions were not included and we didn't know that until on the ship. Because of that we were not able to go on some of them as they were full. Otherwise it was a fabulous trip/experience

The ship, staff, food and hospitality experience were first class. Little touches like free transfers to airport, free self-serve laundry, and the all inclusive 24/7 aspect of the ship were added benefits. Overall a great experience.
- by Jerome KleinVery good service and excellent food. Some of the excursions were disappointing the Normandy d-day beaches tried to cover everything and in that process robs you of the chance to see a wonderful DDay museum in Asante mer eglise. Half the ef ship had tesirsyiry viruses by the end of the tour and unieotkf seemed unwilling to confine anyone who was visibly sick. As a result my cruise was ruined by this event.

My partner and I had always dreamed of visiting Paris, and this tour made it a reality! The blend of guided tours and free time was perfect for us. Our guide in Versailles was exceptionally knowledgeable, and the beauty of the palace was simply breathtaking. The hotel was charming, and we loved that it was so centrally located
- by Ruby W.This was my second time with Eskapas, and while I enjoyed the tour, there were a few areas that could be improved. The guided tours were fantastic, and Versailles was a highlight, but I found the hotel a bit lacking in amenities. The location was central, which was convenient, but the rooms were on the smaller side. Also, I would have preferred more group activities to get to know other travelers better. Overall, still a wonderful way to see Paris!

Fabulous leaders and incredible route - pathways along the river or back country roads or cycling through small cute towns. Mostly flat - and very nicely paced with coffee and photo stops, or lunch, or a chateau visit! Only reason this didn’t get excellent from me was some of the hotels could have been better (and their free breakfasts)

Overall it was an excellent tour. The brochure accurately reflected the actual itinerary. Charlie was an excellent, knowledgeable guide who went out of his way to make sure we all got want we wanted out of the trip. Our driver Alex managed to negotiate some pretty tight back roads getting is to spots we couldn't have reached in a large coach. The coach itself was a little tight as far as leg room goes, and also in space for hand luggage, which was a problem for many of us. In general the hotels were good - all well situated and interesting in themselves. Some required using stairs, though Charlie carried luggage up and down to our rooms so that was not a major problem, except for our pre-tour stay in the Paris hotel, where we were allocated a 5 th floor room, with the lift only reaching the 4 th.
- by Philip RileyI do NOT recommend this company. The "english-speaking guide" to take us around France was an Englishman was little knowledge or interest of France and, from his disparaging comments, little liking of french people. For the first few days the guide, Ed, spoke more about England than France, until comments were made. A shame as the itinerary of 'La Belle France' looked great but the delivery was very very poor. With an eastern european driver and an Englishman who didn't seem like to like France or French people there was no depth of information about French history, culture, or current lifestyle. Some information delivered by the guide was just plain incorrect (Napoleon from Sicily !). Despite the company's name there were long stretches on highways, sometimes for an hour+ in silence as the guide didn't chat or talk about what we were passing. Really unenjoyable. The leg space in the bus was cramped in all seats except for the front two seats. The taller people stuck their legs out the aisles to get more space. Some people got leg cramps on occasion. Stops at some highlights on the itinerary were short - a 'tick box' approach. For most places the guide left us at the front desk with an audio guide. There was no extra information or discussion about what we'd seen from the guide. I found myself eaves-dropping on other personally-guided tours to hear extra information about what we were seeing. Backroads Touring was a long way below the standard of other tour companies I been on. Do look elsewhere to make sure your trip to France is enjoyable and informative.

The luggage was always on site, the hotels so O.k. and the description was good. For the navigation I was glad about the Garmin Navi.
- by Robert Ferdinand RenggliWe did not like the bikes at all. They were the same frame as the electric bikes that the others in the initial group got - but without the power. Very heavy and awkward. It doesn't seem like it was the bike you advertised. After 3 days we got the navigation app to work and that made a big difference. But before that we kept missing turns and it was very confusing. Many of the things you pointed out on the way seemed interesting, but had no signs to mark them, so we missed them. Or maybe they were off the path and we were supposed to find them on our own. The 4 kilometer bridge to St. Nazaire was very dangerous for bikes. It was irresponsible not to warn people. The bike path across the bridge was so narrow with big trucks and busses running very close. Also, the directions getting out of big cities were confusing and we often had to backtrack. On the other hand, the hotels were decent and clean and the breakfasts were good. The staff was usually very helpful. Our suitcases were always delivered. We saw some beautiful scenery. I would recommend finding better bikes for those of us who don't want to use electric bikes.

The company that organized this Wise Yatra were wonderful. Excellent communication and follow through. They provided suggestions and support along the way. They consistently checked in to see if I had any questions or needed anything. The tour was flexible with some of the events which made it even better for us. The free guided tour by Sandamens was wonderful. Our guide Dawie was informative and fun. I highly recommend this tour. All of the components were great.

Very good experience. Did not get lost. All three hotels met our expectations.
- by Robert DunniganI paid my final invoice back in March and we were supposed to have our final documents 2-4 weeks before our tour. We leave in 6 days and nothing. I reached out 4 days ago and still nothing. Tour starts in 12. Concerned!
