Your brochure indicated the age of 0 to 99. I am well within that range. We did a lot of walking and I understand that the tourist need to see the various market and soups, but most of it was very similar to the previous town experience good except man is often the same. The hotels were very nice and our guide was excellent. I would recommend this tour to anybody. It was a very enjoyable tour unfortunately, the prices for the restaurants was quite higher than the Your company put in for the last two days. I understand when it gets hot in Morocco. You probably don’t have as many in the winter time. That’s why I feel the prices for the meals on the road were excessive. I paid approximately half at this luxury hotel then I did in route to the destinations. Again, I would definitely recommend this tour, but I think you should think about the quality of the food that we are served on the road, while traveling to the new destination

Mohamed was a really good and experienced guide. The trip was good planned and we saw many interesting places. Some times we had a bit too much free time in our opinion, but our group was nice and so we made some tours on our own with our group. We can recommend the tour!

No comment, the best operator in morocco, our driver Yassine is the best.
- by Yassine DostoïevskiFouad was an excellent coordinator/guide. The program proceeded very smoothly. We had a problem with our hotel bookings - which Fouad helped resolved very quickly. Our guides at Chefchaouen and Fes were both excellent. I would recommend that the vehicle be changed to a newer one or be better maintained.

I highly recommend traveling with Cultural Morocco Tours. We recently returned from a fantastic 9-day trip with them, where we immersed ourselves in the rich culture and history of Morocco. The breathtaking mountain and desert landscapes were unforgettable. Every aspect of our tour was exceptional. From the charming and authentic accommodations to the efficient transportation, everything exceeded our expectations. Our local guides, Mariam in Fes and Jamal in Marrakech, were knowledgeable and made our experiences truly memorable. Our guide Massin, ensured that we had a wonderful time and maximized our adventure.
- by Lucas venderFirst, our guide was great, but the tour was really bad. I am disappointed with the fact that most of the attractions on our route were either closed for renovations, or closed because we were not at the site during the designated hours The tour basically ended up being a long taxi ride (most of the time with the front windows rolled open so he didn’t need to turn on the AC…in Morocco…in the summer) with hotel stays included. Speaking of hotels, the “Odyssee” in Casablanca was really dirty. There were cigarette burns in the bedding and the floor to the bathroom looked like it was mopped with dirty water and never dried. Pretty gross. I really enjoyed the guide

Going with Julia Travel was the worst travelling experience I have ever had. The list of failing is long - Fail to pick us up at the airport. JT had our flight details and the excuse they used was that the driver waited for 2 hours saying we did not show up. Not sure where he waited but we were in the arrivals area 1 hour after the flight landed and I walked about the arrival area for the next hour looking for our the driver. This was a very bad way to start the holiday and caused great distress to both my partner and myself. It was lucky that we had fellow travellers that arrived about 3 hours after us and we were able to contact them. They were a party of 4 but the pick up was only for 2. The driver arranged a van to take all 6 of us to the hotel. - the standard of the hotels was supposed to be at least 4 star some at best were 3 star - We requested a double bed in our hotels and most of the time it was singles put together - Our booked overnight stay in Marrakesh was cancelled due to a World Bank Conference being on at the time. Julia travel would have been aware of this when we booked the tour and should have advised us that the overnight stay was cancelled. It was only that we talked to another bus load of travellers that we found out that the stay in Marrakech was cancelled. In place we were told it was a 4 hour bus trip to Marrakech, a limited couple of hours on a guided tour in Marrakech, then a 4 hour bus trip back to Casablanca. In the end we found a hotel that was able to take a booking for 10 rooms which was required for our group. Julia Travel refused to compensate us for the lost of accommodation and the dinner that was supposed to occur. - We went to Morocco for the food and experience. The food at the Casablanca hotel was awful and what wasn't eaten for dinner was served up for breakfast the next morning. The staff at the hotel were extremely rude. My partner questioned why the menu listed a wine at a certain price and when we went to order it he said it had increased 20%. When we said it was listed at a price and showed him he took the menu away and came back with the menu and the new price scribbled over the top of the old price. He basically said it had gone up and that he didn't have to serve us and that we could directly go to the bar and get it ourself and it would still be priced at the higher price. - We were taken to a Fado show and dinner and the dinner was again disgusting with many of our fellow travellers not eating it as it was that bad. - Morocco bus did not have WiFi or chargers onboard - Lack of communications between guides and company. It took a long time for us to get the information about Marrakesh cancellation. Some guides told us that we needed to communicate directly with JT as they were the tour organisers. It caused issues between the guides and passengers. Members of our tour rang the 24 hour emergency number on numerous occasions and the phone was not answered and no message could be left. We are not saying that everything was bad. We did enjoy many of the experiences and the most of the guides were very good. The buses were spacious and comfortable but there were some long days spent travelling. I would not recommend going on this tour.
- by Andrew ToorenburgEverything was pretty good, the guides were great. My only major problem was that they changed our final day in Madrid to a final day in Toledo. I was really looking forward to Madrid as part of the trip, as advertised. The reason it was moved to Toledo was because of a prescheduled doctor's convention. I guess the hotels in Madrid were taken. This information was known to the public prior to me booking the trip. A better run company would known that the conference was taking place before advertising that Madrid was a final destination.

Overall trip was good. Our tour guide Omar is wonderful, very patient & takes care of us. Probably he could be more strict or more clear on giving time. Hotels are okay, some are good some are not. There will be long travels like 6-7 hrs so better stuck on your food or snacks.
- by Ria EspulgarHicham was a fantastic tour guide. The tour was action packed enough but also provided down time with a good variation of cities. We felt safe the whole time and really learned a lot about Moroccan culture and history thanks to Hicham.

We were of the view we were on a group tour … but there was no group tour. We did not have a guide to meet us at Tangier as per itinerary. After repeated phone calls and too many hours of waiting, a driver arrived. We were taken to our Fes accommodation via one of the points of interest….
- by Christine ListerWe cannot recommend this tour enough. We went into it knowing it would be a great experience, but unsure of exactly how everything would work – we were blown away by the excellent coordination, the amazing guides and the incredible places we saw. Our driver Youssef, was absolutely wonderful - he was friendly, attentive (making sure we were comfortable at all times) and kept us informed every step of the way. He also shared bits of information with us as we drove past places, which was amazing. The van he transported us in was spotless and had great air conditioning which he made sure was to our liking - he was very professional and made sure we were able to take breaks to eat or use the restroom. He also coordinated with the guides at each location so incredibly well - we literally never had to wait even 30 seconds to meet our guide or get picked up, which would have been understandable! The coordination was so seamless, we were very very impressed. Youssef really made this adventure that much more enjoyable and we could tell he puts a lot of care into his role - it was very much appreciated and noticed!! He even made sure to stop the car a few times at amazing viewpoints so we could take photos; the views he stopped at were breathtaking. Youssef also had great communication with us and would check in on what time we wanted to get started in the morning, etc - the activities were all planned but we still had a say in certain things, which was so nice as it gave us some flexibility. Our guides, Mjit and Mohammed, were amazing as well - they made sure not to go too fast and shared so much interesting information with us. Mjit was our guide at Volubilis and was so friendly and extremely well-informed; it was an amazing guided tour. He made sure we got beautiful pictures and answered all our questions. The site itself is incredible on its own, but having him as our guide made the experience so much better. Mohammed guided us through Fes and coordinated with Youssef to get us to and from different areas; our favourite part was getting guided by him through the medina, it was simply magical. It’s impossible to describe the amazing things we saw – the ceramics workshop, the tannery, the food and spices, the craftsmanship - you will see the most beautiful artisanal work of your life. Mohammed was also super friendly, answered all our questions and had an amazing knowledge of the city, country, and everything we saw. What made the experience even better was that we were never rushed and could choose what to see. The accommodations were great, we were very comfortable and had good meals and slept very well. The staff at the hotel were very friendly, professional and attentive and clearly had a great relationship with the tour/guides. We felt very well taken care of the entire tour and could not have asked for anything better. This was the experience of a lifetime and we are so grateful to everyone involved – we HIGHLY recommend this tour!!

Ideally I would give this 3.5 Stars, it was a good trip, but was let down in a couple areas. Firstly while the itinerary looks excellent, Casa is really just a meeting point and a dinner at an average restaurant which would have been empty if not for our tour group. More than one of the restaurant experiences on the tour left us all in want… The tour itself did not really get going till mid way through the next day as we approached Tangier. So a bit of a nothing day one. Secondly the hotel was very average, in fact this continued to the experience for most of the trip. Back searching hotels after the trip revealed we’d mostly been booked in 2 star hotels, the cheapest on Booking.com, no fridges or safes in them, with firm beds. None had even a queen bed, double or 2 single beds for a couple… I don’t expect luxury, but at least night in a semi decent place would have been welcomed by all in our group. I would have happily paid a few more dollars if they specified a couple nice hotel stays. It means more than a decent room, it means a decent breakfast instead of boring pancakes and jam with a boiled egg nearly every morning… Don’t get me wrong, we still loved Morocco and I think intrepid put together an overall good tour in small groups and our guide was fantastic. But they let you down in a couple key areas. For instance they also booked us on 2nd class trains from Fez to Marrakech, a 7 hr trip…we all spoke up and paid our guide Hamza ( good guide) to upgrade us to 1st class where we would be squashed with our luggage. It’s was only $15AUD or 9€…it should have been included, at that price. And while others great having a local guide join us in each town, it resulted in a lot of repetitive information about Moulay Idris, his legacy, the local mosques and burial houses and very little time to actually Peruse the Medinas and soak in the local vibe of the towns…and dare i say time to shop. We were often speeding through Medinas going from one point of interest to the next. On our last day we asked Hamza our guide to cut the local guide time short so we could at least do some wandering around the Medina in Marrakech… One thing that was amazing was the night atmosphere in Marrakech marketplace or Medina, so even though it’s not something the guides seem to want to take you through, maybe cause it’s quite hectic they don’t want to be trying to keep a group together, insist your guide waits a few minutes while you soak it in and have a little peak around all the musicians and entertainers Intrepid is still good but if they could tweak things a little on the tours they could be great experiences. And by the way, they don’t take Australian dollars in Morocco, change to Euro or US before you go because you will need some cash there. Intrepid didn’t tell us of the currency situation, would have been helpful if they did…

The tour is a very complete experience. in both Soain and Portugal you cover the essentials of each city with the tour guides but also have time to explore on your own. In Morocco, the itinerary covered all the must dos (Marrakech, Fez and the dessert) with lots of other interesting destinations in between. The tour is very high paced, with sometimes late nights and early mornings, which allows you to make the most of each day and cover a lot. You also get to meet people from all around the world, with around 50 people in each group you’re part of and travel with. All in all, I considered it a wonderful experience
- by Almu De la VegaMorocco was the best, good hotels and service. Just a bit stressful waking up at 6am every morning. And didn’t really care for the dinner at the dune. That was just an upscale. Hotels in Spain are not good specially the one in Seville

This was an amazing tour
- by Antoinette WoodsMorocco was well outside my comfort zone as an American who hadn’t previously been outside of the western world or the Caribbean. Traveling via a well established tour company with a guide who was native to the country, religion, and culture was uppermost in my mind. That knowledge alleviated my anxiety and uncertainty. I especially valued the closer glimpses of everyday life provided to us by two different meals in private homes, a dinner in Fes and, later in the tour, lunch in the home of a rural farmer near the Atlas Mountains. Additionally, our guide took us through multiple medinas and, especially, crowded souks that I never would have entered on my own. I could have toured Morocco without his assistance but the experience would have been much less rich and memorable.

This was an excellent tour of the Imperial Cities plus due to the guide Younes and driver Said! Each visit to Meknes, Moulay Idriss, Volubilis, Fes, Chefchaouen, Tangier, Rabat and Casablanca, at times supplemented by local guide knowledge, was beautiful and uniquely amazing in the specific history and richness of the culture.

I had an incredible three-day journey from Marrakesh to Fes, crossing through the Sahara. Our guide, Sabir, was exceptionally warm, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to enrich our experience. The tour was filled with diverse activities: exploring ancient film sets in Ouarzazate, embarking on camel treks over the dunes, witnessing a breathtaking sunrise in the Sahara, and even feeding monkeys near Ifran. It was an unforgettable adventure that created memories to cherish forever!
- by emilie hangoverOur experience was as a result of your tour guide - Sabir - he is just the best Ambassador for Morocco. Both Karen and I found his dedication and commitment exceptional, and fully support his life long aspirations. You may see here that we had a number of discussion on matters pertaining to life. Thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day excursion. With Sabir. Thank you Tour Radar. Our only issue was with the Odessey accomodation in Casablanca. We still have not received a refund from the this place Anthony and Karen
