The overall experience was great! Jim Divine, the tour van driver, was a knowledgeable tour guide, with a fun sense of humor.

The tour was enjoyable however issues arose with each accommodation regarding payment. The driver and accomodation were not informed of prepayment and it lead to some on the spot, potentially embarrassing situations. The driver was not happy about the situation also and made that clear. Better communication in future about such arrangements would make the overall experience more enjoyable, and stress free.

I loved Blarney castle. I loved having a free time day, and having choices of what I wanted to do.

Definitelty enjoyed the visit to Windsor Castle. The artwork inside the castle was worth the look. Unfortunately, due to local protests, we were unable to view the pomp and surcumstance that goes with the changing of the guard but the trip there was truely memorable. We've always heard the stories of Blarney castle. I'm glad that was included in the tour. The tour of the Ring of Kerry was beautiful. The discription in the booklet couldn't begin to discribe the beauty of the landscape.

First, let me say that our tour guide exceeded all of our expectations. Elizabeth (Liz) who happens to also reside on Lewis Island was an absolute treasure. Having first hand knowledge of the Outer Hebrides was invaluable in adding the kind of context that makes a guided tour worthwhile for my wife and I. Robert our coach driver negotiated the narrow single lane roads with ease and confidence making everyone in the group comfortable as passengers. The scenery was breath taking. I did not expect the wide, white beaches we saw on several islands along with the blue green Caribbean colored water. Multiple shades of green tundra, rocky outcroppings, rust colored seaweed, hillsides dotted with white and black sheep. Stones houses, stone fences, old old stone foundations from families who left hundreds of years ago during the clearings. The Ferry Rides, (5) in all added an extra dimension of pleasure to the tour. The only way to truly experience the Outer Hebrides. Much more that I could add but frankly was conflicted writing this review in the first place as we would like to keep this tour a secret for as long as possible. Many we take now are to destinations that have become overcrowded. But not so the Outer Hebrides, yet. But we owed it to our tour guide and driver to let everyone know what a great experience we had. And we will be back!

Good morning I am currently on a 23 day tour (my first time) travelling great Britain and Ireland. Our tour guide is Ian Short and driver Kevin Clancy. I wish to convey what a fabulous trip due to these individuals Who are very thoughtful, professional and informative. They bring together warmth,humour and respect towards each other and to the guest on the tour.
