The tour was really good. They took us everywhere mentioned in the itinerary. Was on time. Driver Guruswamy initially was driving too fast to the point we were uncomfortable. And my stomach got upset because of that. But asked him whether he could slowdown a bit and he did. He took us to places not mentioned in the itinerary too , like musical fountain and cultural fusion dance in Kanyakumari. And Poovar island. To be honest I don’t know whether it was worth the extra money. Guides were good and knowledgeable.

A trip to remember! It was a challenge for us to find a trusted tour agency for an 8-day tour and we definitely made an excellent choice. Even before starting our tour we had received a fully detailed itinerary, all contact points and tips for our trip. Our driver, Mutu, became our friend during the tour and really helped us with everything we needed. All guides were very good, some of them truly excellent in giving us the picture of local culture. All hotels were very good, some of them were really excellent and exceeded our expectations with their location and beauty. South India was without a doubt the most beautiful and interesting area we visited in India. We are very satisfied by our experience with MTA. If you consider visiting, this agency is recommended.

Without Bout and their guides we would never have known to visit the amazing caves, iconic buildings and experiences we discovered. Bout India tours planned our itinerary for a road trip across Southern India - covering historical places, temples, major cities and hill stations. We are very impressed by the Mysuru and Bengaluru palaces. We enjoyed visiting Hampi - learning the about the history of the Devaraya empire. Our guide Basava there was phenomenal. He is a local guy, passionate about the history and spoke very good English. We enjoyed the cooler places like Coorg along the way. Cave temples at Badami are a a sight to see. Will definitely use Bout Tours for our next trip in India.

Our guide made the tour special by stopping to show us interesting things along the way as we were a very small group. If we had been a bigger group this flexibility would not have been possible and I think then the tour would have been too many temples. However, the tour as we had it was excellent as we saw a lot of the rural areas and small villages. Note that this tour does not include a tour of Chennai or Kochi so try to stay an extra day before and after the tour to visit these places by yourself. Train ride was great, nothing to fear; hotels all comfortable but out of the city center; guide and driver excellent and the people of India are the friendliest in the world.
