Tanzania Zanzibar Tour Companies

I can't even describe how special and amazing this tour was. Pete and Francis (our guides) are truly what made the trip so amazing. They were both so kind, thoughtful and caring. It felt like a family away from home. Yes, the tour itself was extraordinary. The sites, sounds, tastes etc. Amazing. However, it is the people that make this tour and these people will always mean. The world to myself and my husband. If you go on this tour request these guides! You won't regret it!

I found it was a tour of two halves due to a terrible tour guide that took over half way through. He did not make vegetarian options, saying that their is side is not an apporitate meal (e.g salad and a roll where everyone got hot dogs). He did not know his facts e.g the equator is to the east.... or the itinerary e.g we would sit around for an hour and he would be no where in sight and when he came about he would not know what we were waiting for. Also would start yelling at the whole group on three occasions. I go to learn about the area and the culture and I feel that I did not with rimz as such I would recommend g adventures as a reliable company that I have always had quality with.

Climbing Kilimanjaro was an unforgettable experience and the G Adventures team assisting us on the mountain was simply amazing. I can wholeheartedly recommend choosing G Adventures for a Kilimanjaro climb. However, the Zanzibar part, which is outsourced to a local operator, leaves a lot to be desired. The CEO was not really interested in offering us a great experience, but pushed us towards overpriced tourist traps and got intoxicated in the evenings. Zanzibar is a lovely place to relax after the climb, but with the current quality of G Adventures offering in Zanzibar, it is probably better to arrange the stay in Zanzibar on your own.

Incredible team to summit with! It really did feel like we were a family. Our CEOs made everything achievable and their positive, happy vibe was the icing on the cake!
