About Local 55 travels

Early in 2011 a group of friends from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, gathered to create a tour company geared at creating the ultimate Brazil travel experience, thereby founding Local55. An online tool was created that generated free itinerary suggestions in many different cities based on the travelers profile.   By the end of 2013, Local55 expanded its scope offering tours, activities and accommodation, assiting the traveler in all stages of their trip. Based in Rio de Janeiro, Local55 is formed by a staff of Rio natives (better known as Cariocas) that will be pleased to help you plan the trip of your dreams to Brazil.  Come walk a day in our shoes!
