This kind of thing really enriches your experience, and is the kind of thing that stays with you for years. It's the lovely locals that I continue to tell people about, after having done the tour a few years ago myself. For me, it's always lovely to see people like yourself who are new to overlanding, that just adapt so quickly into this new and very different (but wonderful) way of travelling, so thank you for being such a great passenger! It can be quite an adjustment going from solo travel to group travel, but the wonders of South Korea and Japan definitely helped with this, as did the fabulous people that were also on the tour with you.
