  Best experiences. logistics are comfortable. The group setting was fun and a nice bonding expensive of people from around the world. Some of the hostel stays were great, some were just ok, but all were clean and had the essentials.

  This tour was amazing!! It was my first time out of the country in 10+ years (not to mention my first solo trip) & I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My tour guide was Dee and she was absolutely phenomenal. As a native Kiwi herself, she was extremely well informed about the sights and activities in New Zealand and always made sure we had the best time. She made the experience even better because it felt like she was one of us. She took the time to get to know all 10/15 of us (a difficult feat at least for me haha) and she seamlessly integrated herself into our group. I appreciated the fact that she gave her honest opinion on activities we could do while staying objective and supportive with the everything the group wanted to do. I personally have a bit of a hard time talking in bigger groups so I was grateful when I got the chance to talk to her one on one on the bus. I was so lucky to have her during both weeks of my tour, and I would 1000% recommend this tour (and hopefully you get Dee as your guide hahaha) to anyone who’s even considering it. I came back to the stated with a completely new perspective. Life changing experience!!!

  I got to experience the Wild Kiwi for both the North & South Island tours which took place over the course of 2 weeks. Big Ben was the guide for the North and he was incredible! Super fun, hilarious, and made sure we were all one big family the whole trip. We had quite a bit of rain in the North Island which could have halted out fun, but Ben made sure that we found pockets of joy in any activity we could get our hands on. Tom, our South Island guide was also amazing. He was super nurturing and made all our activities both informative and fun. The best part was Tom hanging out with us and giving us opportunities to spend time with one another outside of our activities. You’re great, Tom! The Wild Kiwi tours was the best decision I made coming to New Zealand. I got to see all the beauty that NZ has to offer without the stress of planning it all. 100% would choose Wild Kiwi again. 🤟🏽

  Both weeks were excellent, the drivers/guides have a lot of humor, both also knowledge of the country and about the places we’re we stopped/stayed. Accommodations are basic but fair for the price.

  Amazing trip. Had the best experience in South and North Island for different reasons. Mark our guide in the South Island was terrific, he managed logistics well, hung out with the group gave us great knowledge of New Zealand and was very relaxed helping to strengthen the morale within the group. The tour itself was amazing enjoyed helihiking in Franz Josef glacier, seeing Milford Sound, sky diving, jetboating and partying in Queenstown. The group also were good fun so friendly and helped to male the trip even more enjoyable than it was. The goods times continued to Lake Tekapu. The North Island was good too though it suffered from adverse weather conditions that were outside the control of Wild Kiwi Tours. The group and the guides first Tom doing a sterling job at managing our group and his last group through the weather chaos and then Ben who was so energetic and cool. Though some activities in the North were curtailed due to the weather we still enjoyed Taupo, Rotorua, Hobbiton (highlight of the North) Hotel Water Beach and Cathedral Cove. The group again here were amazing and good sports they didn't let the bad weather get their spirits down and were very welcoming to me as a latecomer (due to bad weather). Would highly recommend this trip.

  Amazing experience - would highly recommend Wild Kiwi. Mark was a great tour guide, and always made sure there was something to do when activities were affected by the weather. The value of the trip was well worth it, with breakfast, accommodation and all travel included and there was also a good mix of planned activities and free time. Will hopefully be booking another trip in the future!

  I had such an amazing time exploring the North and South Islands that I’m hoping to come back with Wild Kiwi next year. Mark was an incredible guide, such a fun personality and really put us all at ease. Some of the days involved pretty long bus journeys due to NZ’s geography but Mark did a great job of breaking up the bus time by taking us to cool little towns, short hikes or view points. The pit stops made sure you didnt feel like you’d lost a day to travel and a couple of these stop offs ended up being some of my favourite parts of the trip. Thanks mark and all of the team and WK, you were awesome!

  This was one of the most incredible experiences of my life! Robbie was an excellent guide, creating an memorable experience for everyone. I felt like I really experienced many of the highlights of New Zealand - seeing beautiful places & trying adventurous activities. It was also fun to bong with my tour group!

  This tour was one of the best experience of my life!! It was my first time travelling alone but you make friends since the first minute on the bus. New Zealand is beautiful wherever you go, specially the South Island. Well organized and the drivers (Ben and Hendrick) were very friendly and profesional. They like theirs job and you can feel it! I'm not giving 5 stars because I think that the price is very high for the type of accomodation & breakfast. Another thing that Wild Kiwi should improve is to get better prices for the activities because you pay the same amount that if you go by your own.
