    The guides were excellent, being local they were very knowledgeable and passionate about Rio and Brazil, the places and events we went to were amazing and well planned. The hotel was very good and in the best location for carnival. The only reason I gave it a good and not an excellent rating was they used a 3rd party for the actual samba drome event. It was disorganised and the lady running it was rude and not nice to her own staff as well as us, the intrepid tour guides that we had all week were not allowed with us which made it very difficult. Hopefully from our feedback they will not use them again. Otherwise highly recommended this tour.

    Our tour guide Guilerme was super knowledgable and helpful during our tour. At first I was a bit hesistant going to a country where I dont speak the languauge, but with intrepid I felt confident in exploring the city. I really appreciated intrepid being able to schedule pickups and dropoffs as needed. The experience was amazing and hope to come back to Brazil soon!

    The trip was amazing! By far the best FAM I have ever been on. The destinations were great but, we also had our share of issues come up (travel delays)but Diana and Katie took care of them for us in no time.

For tours departing after May 28th, 2025, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with Intrepid Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
      • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Intrepid Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
