- AYannis· April 12th, 2023The trip was excellent and each day was fantastic. However if I were to chose 2 highlights I would go for Tikal and Antigua (Easter processions and carpets)Trip date: March 2023Review collected by Explore!
- AAlicia· April 13th, 2023The Mayan sites of Copan and Tikal. Lago Atitlan. Semana Santa in Antigua. The markets and the people.Trip date: March 2023Review collected by Explore!

- GHGeoffrey· December 4th, 2022Well organized by guide Marvin. Busy itinerary with 2 days in Nebaj where hotel maintenance was like China in the 80,s and the weaving demonstration was poor and used as an opportunity for the locals to sell their goods. Also the walk was described as an endurance test but at 83 I did not participate. This had been organized since 1998 and now things have changed with concrete replacing wood and hotel maintenance let slip. The other hotels and locations were excellent and would rather have spent more time at these than spending the long drive to Nebaj.Show moreExplore! commented on this reviewGlad you had a nice trip. - SBScott· November 5th, 2022We survived. Pros: Excellent, knowledgeable guide, Miguel. Well rounded tour of the country. Some fantastic “only in Guatemala “ experiences. Beautiful colors. Cons: 6-8 hours a day in a 12 person van built for 5’10” or shorter people. Horrendous traffic. Sitting for hours for road construction. There’s not a straight road in Guatemala. Up and down steep mountains with S curves, hairpin turns and over 1000 speed bumps.Show moreTrip date: October 2022
- Ingo· November 19th, 2019The tour is a very complete overview of Guatemala. It is very fast paced but every day is a highlight. The main selling point of the tour is the excellent guide who is extremely knowledgeable on literally every aspect of Guatemalan and Mayan history and all aspects Guatemalan.Show moreExplore! commented on this reviewThanks for your fantastic review, I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed the trip!Trip date: November 2019
