  Iglesias does a nice job of integrating regional travel experiences, nearly seamlessly. There was only one extended wait for a connecting bus, by the side of a highway, on our way to an airport. You are not traveling with the same group, as you are with other tour co's like Intrepid or G Tours, for better or worse. In our case, that was completely fine. 2 out of the 3 tourguides we had in Cappadocia and Ephesus were outstanding - very knowledgeable, great communicators, and very organized. Unfortunately the 3rd tourguide we had for Pamakkule was a disaster - disorganized, inexperienced, and immature (she was all of 22 yrs old). We were left largely in the dark as to where we were, where we supposed to be, and what the history of the area was. She even criticized us for reading placards instead of listening to her, when she hadn't even told us where we could find her to hear her pearls of wisdom. She walked much faster, ahead of most of the group, leaving us behind, and talking only to those walking right beside her. Her voice was also so soft, half the group couldn't hear her on the bus at all. Interestingly, she mentioned that her family owned Iglesias, which may explain why she was entrusted with a tour group. When we complained to Iglesias that this tour was very substandard, we were assured our concerns were taken seriously, but offered no compensation of any sort. Also, Iglesias was also oddly inflexible on moving the included airport transfers one day forward and back, which I highly recommend if you want to have any time to explore the many sights in Istanbul. They wanted to charge us $60US for each transfer. We met other tourists who reported they had much more accomodating tour companies. Still the hotels and food were very good, and the transportation fairly coordinated, so rounding up to 4 stars. We will choose a different company in the future, though.

  Our tours with Iglesias, especially with guides Utku and Josh were excellent! They were knowledgeable, friendly and organized. My only gripe was on my last day of the tour with Mel, who guided us around Pammukale and Hierapolis. I dont want to sound too harsh on someone so young, but it felt a bit like being guided by a sullen high school student. She needs a microphone, because she mumbles and lot of us sitting at the back couldnt make out what she was saying. On walking tours, she only spoke to those that walked next to her, so if you stopped to read the written plaques on sites you just missed out. She seemed unexperienced and overwhelmed- she often didn't have an answer when others in group would ask what was next, and would often respond 'We can do whatever you guys want to do'. Like ??? Aren't we on a guided tour..? She would repeatedly crack jokes about how she was going to take a break and come back in 2 hours, which I thought seemed bit immature. Some of us in the group have vested interests in history and her unprofessional demeanor soured our experience on the last day.

  This was a great tour. All the guides were very friendly and and helpful. We had a fantastic time. Seeing all the sites I would highly recommend the hot air balloon experience. The travel arrangements were very well done and communication was excellent with our tour coordinator.

  We highly recommend Tourradar. Before and after we booked the 7-Day Turkey Tour with them, they were always very responsive in communication. When I did not reply to Mr. Ismail's text message, he was up until 1:00 a.m. to talk and inform me about the tour next day. It seemed that Mr. Ismail worked 24 hour! The tour guides were knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. They were very punctual in picking us up everyday to go on the tour. The hotels we stayed at served good breakfast and had comfortable rooms. From The Arden City Hotel in Istanbul, it was 10 to 15 minutes leisurely walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Grand Bazar. There were many, many restaurants and shopping stores within a few minutes walk from the hotel. The staff at the hotel provided excellent service. The cave hotel in Capadoccia was very roomy and comfortable. I highly recommend the balloon ride when you are in Capadoccia. The quantity and the quality of lunches served during the tour were excellent.

  The tour was great! The operators were extremely attentive and on top of our schedule (texting me about flight delays and organizing airport pick up before I even knew) and accommodating. Can’t recommend enough - everything was extremely smooth even though it was a pretty fast-paced way to see the highlights of Turkey in about a week. I can’t name any bucket-list items we missed. The hotels were in IDEAL locations and flights were all super easy. The tour always felt very safe and easy, and all the local guides had great English and kept us in the loop with each day’s plans. Plenty of older couples, young solo backpackers, and families around - everyone fit in fine. A few minor suggestions for fellow travelers: - you can easily knock out Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Cisterns, and more in a single morning so be ready to explore Istanbul - do the hot air balloons in Cappadocia, I hate heights but it was not at all scary - wear sandals/flip flops for the day in Pamukkale - bring immodium/stomach meds/electrolyte packets in case you get any traveling digestion issues. One person in our party did, but luckily the tour was structured well for them to take it easy at all our stops.

  This was a great trip - well organised itinerary, very punctual transfers and day trip schedules, good and centrally located accommodations. On top of this, Ismail was never more than a text away and great help in arranging extra activites during the trip and even in customizing the itinerary to suit my arrival/departure schedule.

  We didn't get to go because Turkey government imposed a lock down during our planned travel dates. Ismail was able to provide us with generous full refund confirmation several days before the tour date, so that we're able to adjust our plans accordingly.
