  Our trip was nothing short of spectacular, truly an experience of a lifetime!! Our tour guide was exceptional, not only in leading us but also in connecting us with Indigenous locals. This interaction was both enlightening and enjoyable, offering a unique cultural exchange! The accommodation and its amenities were great, and the food was delicious whether we were dining in the lodge or during our memorable night of camping in the amazon rainforest. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an authentic and enriching travel experience!

  Excellent tour Our stay at the Ipinema lodge in the jungle was excellent , every single person was very welcoming Considering we were in the Amazon basin still everything was as promised starting from the airport pickup to the hotel drop off at the end of the tour Good value for money

  Initially I was concerned about communication being "quiet", but asking questions helped a lot to get timely response. At the end, kudos to organizers, everything had been running smoothly. We enjoyed the trip a lot, and most of our worries did not happen. Special thanks to our tour guide "Jimmy" - he did a lot to accommodate any last moment changes on the fly, making everybody's trip worry free. In retrospect, we are totally happy about the trip, despite initial worries from my wife :-)

  The activities were good and the staff very friendly. The guide wasn't fluent in English but it was possible to understand him. The food was delicious and they even made extra food for vegetarians (there was the same food every day, which I guess is quite common in Amazonas and I didn't mind). The tour was interesting and as described! Unfortunately the communication prior to the tour wasn't good in terms of pick up time and if there are other tourists at the same tour (there weren't on the first day).

  Poor communication prior to the start of the tour and during the tour. Repetitive activities, even during the 4-day (3 nights) tour. The guides built a camp for the jungle camp night, which partially collapsed under the weight of all the people in the hammocks. 2 of 3 guides exhibited a pretty macho-like and annoying behavior. The WORST though: they talk about conservation of animals, but actually don’t show respect. One day, after having spotted a sloth high up on a branch, a guide climbed up and shook the sloth, which turned out to be a mother with a child, out of the tree. He then wanted the group to hold the (most probably injured) animal which everyone rejected in shock… on another occasion, a guide killed a snake on a trail, while he could have surely disposed of it in a safe manner, then showing it to the group. I had booked a private room at an extra cost and when a new guest arrived on day 2, a guide wanted to put that guest into my room, which I could luckily prevent after some protest…. Food was good (fairly simple) and accommodation basic (cold water only, mosquito nets with holes, very old and loud airco). Location of lodge is nice. While the nature is stunning, I would not recommend/ book this tour again.

  Better communication would have been helpful from Tour Radar with regards to pick up confirmation and who our local contact point would be. A checklist of items needed for the Rain forest would have been useful Guide - good is familiar with the territory and habitats. Unfortunately we did not see a vast number of species. When trekking he was explaining things to those at the front of the group but the others at the back were not able to hear or see and then he would continue. Food - as a vegetarian the options was limited to rice and beans lunch and dinner for the 3 days. The cooks were not really aware of what to make for veggies and the guide was not very helpful either. Acccomodation - good for the location. Host family - very friendly and accommodating

  Very nice tour through the amazon, with a lot of different activities. Sleeping one night in the jungle was also a cool experience. We did a tour of 4 days, but we think that the activities could all have been done in 3 days. The food that was served was also very good. Overall very nice experience

  It was absolutely great. We saw so much of the jungle, so many different animals! And the guide showed us so much we would not have seen being on our own. Thank you very very much! To visit the Amazonas was a dream of my youth and the dream became true.

  The experience was amazing. Be aware the journey to the lodge takes around 2.5 hours and involves a taxi, 2 boat journeys and a bus ride. The lodge is lovely with each room having aircon- we had to turns ours off as it got too cold, even when it was 30° outside. We managed to see lots of animals and the jungle camp was brilliant. Be sure to bring decent long sleeve tops and plenty of insect repellent. Some sort of cushion is advised as you spent along time in the canoes which have solid wooden seats

  Very exciting, diverse and well organized activities in this beautiful natural wonder of the world. The rooms in the lodge were comfortable and pretty clean, mosquitos for me personally were not an issue indoors. The food for breakfast, lunch and dinner was very solid as well. I would definitely recommend this experience to anybody who can do without some of the comfort of a hotel and appreciates nature.
