This trip was fantastic and exceeded all my expectations. The western route allowed for many stops at uninhabited islands and seeing countless species. Both the wildlife and the sea creatures just went about their ways and we were able to be so close (but not closer than 6 feet) to observe them and their many habits. I've never been this close to so many different, exotic animals and birds, and the snorkeling is outstanding (although a bit cold in May - fine with a wetsuit). Our naturalist, Indira Torres, probably single-handedly made this the best tour I've ever been on. A native of the Galapagos, she was knowledgeable, funny, energetic, and personable. She was a delight. The staff on board were all outstanding, anticipating our every need. The meals were all 5-star, which I had not expected. Excellent in taste and pleasing presentation. The rooms were comfortable and larger than I expected, as was the full-size bathroom. The common areas were comfortable and large enough, considering that we spent a lot of time underway. The bartender was great. I really have no complaints other than it is over.

I feel like I only need a sentence in saying it was the trip of a lifetime. However, G Adventures definitely made it the trip of a lifetime in a most wonderful way. Our CEO, Omar, was spectacular and a real great addition not only to the excursions, but just his presence on the ship. The ship and crew were amazing, really taking care of our every needs. Even at the more mundane routine ends at the airports and getting our things in order upon arrival and just before departure, G Adventures made the whole trip incredibly smooth.

We all felt that this was the trip of a lifetime, and everything about it was exceptional. The destination, the itinerary, the expert guide, the gorgeous Reina Silvia Voyager, the crew of the catamaran -- everything was perfect. We were onboard for about a day before we started talking about making a plan to come back.
