Everyone was very nice, the driver who picked us up from the airport and brought us to the hotel, the tour guides and the on-board crew on the ship, especially the service and cuisine in the restaurant on board. They really put in a lot of effort and did a great job. The Nile cruise was awsome. Our group was great, I really like the people and made new friends. The optional hot air balloon ride was fantastic, an absolute recommendation. The trip to Nubian Village was not good. The crossing there was nice, but there is no traditional Nubian village, but rather many shops with souvenirs and clothing for tourists. In Cairo, it is worth visiting the Chan El- Chalili market if you are looking for tourist shops. The selection is larger and the market is another adventure in itself.Show more

The sites were incredible, the service was five star from the Egyptologists, drivers & crew on the cruise ship, and the accommodations exceeded my expectations. The experience only lost a star because there were multiple "stops" not in the itinerary at businesses focused on the tourist trade and the fact that I had confirmed a request for window seats on both flights that was ignored even after I reminded the tour company in country. Note that some travelers might have enjoyed the shopping stops, but they were not on the itinerary (or I would have avoided them) and no one in my group would have preferred to stop.Show moreTrip date: November 2024

- BJBeth· December 6th, 2024The Pyramids & Nile Cruise - Domestic Flights Included tour delivered by Beyond the Nile Tours was excellent. The itinerary was jam packed with cultural trips and visits - the pyramids, Abu Simbel and Karnak Temples being particular highlights, as well as the mummified crocodiles at Kom Ombo. Everything was very well organised, with excellent communication ahead of and throughout the trip, and the tour guides were exceptional. We had an egyptologist who assists in tomb excavations as our guide in Cairo (Abdou) - doesn't get much better than that! The tour guides at Kom Ombo and Edfu were also excellent and Sabah, our tour guide for Aswan and Luxor was a lovely lady who we got on with really well. Harry and Ahmed, the driver, in Cairo were also very welcoming and friendly. The trip is fast paced (most days started at 4-5 am), so it's not for those who want to relax, but culturally it couldn't have been better. We were so impressed with Egypt - the people were kind and friendly and the monuments are absolutely incredible. We'll definitely be back and would use this tour company again. The cruise dining room staff were excellent enjoyed the food. Happy with the cabin. Saw more than expected very full programme can highly recommend. The only drawback minor issue Ahmed who accompanied us from Luxor did superg job under extremely difficult circumstances handle the situation very well.
