We had Filippe as our ever-positive guide, the talented Samuel as our cook, and the smiling "Hike Like a Girl...Try To Keep Up!" Joanna as our helper. The trek was definitely a challenge, the scenery amazing and the destination well worth the effort. Those Llama terraces just have to be seen and there's hardly anyone there! Hiking poles were essential I think, though my teenage daughter says it was fine without.
