  I recently completed the Annapurna Circuit Trek with Sherpa Expedition, and it was truly a life-changing experience! From the moment we began, the stunning landscapes captivated me — lush valleys, rhododendron forests, terraced fields, and, of course, the towering snow-capped peaks of the Annapurnas. Every day brought new beauty and adventure. The trek was challenging but incredibly rewarding. The highlight, without a doubt, was reaching Thorong La Pass, standing at 5,416 meters — the highest point of the trek! The view was beyond words, and the sense of achievement was overwhelming. Our guide was knowledgeable and ensured we were well-prepared, safe, and comfortable every step of the way. The culture and warmth of the local villages along the trail were another highlight. We met kind-hearted locals, enjoyed traditional meals, and learned about the rich culture of the area. This trek is a perfect blend of natural beauty, physical challenge, and cultural immersion. I highly recommend the Annapurna Circuit to anyone looking for an adventure of a lifetime. Sherpa Expedition made the journey seamless and unforgettable. Can’t wait to do it again!

  The track was really Nice, this time not too touristic or crowded. The guide was well equipped and took excellent care of us. The porters were very friendly and fun. The brochure indicated we would see leopards in the forest. The forest is already beautiful on its own.

  This was a trip I had dreamed about for a long time and it didn't disappoint. It was challenging in a good way and I would recommend to anyone with a basic level of fitness. The trip was well organised and perfectly paced - the two weeks flew!

  The Annapurna circuit trek with Intrepid was probably the best things I have done in my life. The guides were so nice, knowledgeable and well organised. The route we traveled was an amazing transect, starting on gentle paths through terraced fields abutting lowland forest, to steep tracks winding through precipitous gorge country, out into open pine woodlands in broad valleys, then into the alpine and eventually a landscape devoid of plants - just rock scree and massive mountains - mountains that take your breath away and change the way you see the world. Mountains that turn from an icy blue to a fiery orange with the first rays of sun. Giants that constantly loom over you and are worshiped by the the locals. You have to go and see this!

  I highly recommend Uma Holidays for trekking in Nepal: safe, friendly, helpful and value for money. Their choices of accommodation were excellent, and transport organisation was without issue. Uma Holidays allowed me to focus on enjoying my holiday in Nepal and not worry about the details.
