Fortunately, I was able to resolve this issue and immediately contacted Lucero, our travel agent, who promptly set up another airport pickup for us. Even though we were late, Sofia, our tour guide for the days in the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu, was waiting for us at the hotel to give us our orientation.
