- AAmie· October 31st, 2024Worst company ever! Just went to NZ and I could literally write a novel, but the main issues were a random entering our dorm at one of the hostels and the tour leader failing to stop in so I had to sort the issue out with the hostel at the time. And more importantly them not taking my medical condition seriously. Taking us for a team dinner without consultation with lighting that would effect my epilepsy and on noting this in the feedback form amongst many other issues like dirty hostels, a tour guide who flirted with younger travellers and much more Sandra from "customer experience" thought I would be happy with an $80 refund for the night interrupted and a 5%discount on my next trip. I'm never travelling with them again and when this was mentioned she noted the discount was a gesture of good will and I should remove myself from the situation, so basically if you have any type of medical issue topdeck doesn't want you to have fun they expect you to eat all meals alone in the hostel just because their tour guides can't ask in advance what's okay. Joke of a company and joke of a customer service team.Show moreTrip date: October 2024
- HUHenry· May 5th, 2023I had an amazing trip with an amazing group of people! Guy was an excellent guide with great knowledge of everywhere we went to! He was also great at getting activities organised for us! Itinerary was also excellent, a great mix of activities and natural sights as well as visiting some of the iconic towns and cities. Would happily do this trip again!Show moreTrip date: April 2023
- SMSiobhán· February 16th, 2023The tour from star to end was excellently organised and executed. Our tour guide and driver Guy was incredible, extremely knowledge in all things New Zealand which gave us a unique and personalised experience. I was able to pack in and learn so much in the two and half weeks that I was in New Zealand and am already planning a return trip.Show moreTrip date: January 2023
- MagdaLena· January 2nd, 2023Automatic translation available in English. View in EnglishIncredible trip that I will never forget! Our excellent guide took us to all the beautiful places worth seeing in this country and always kept us entertained and laughing. I was traveling alone, but with the people in my tour group I made great friends from day one! We enjoyed our time to the fullest and had so much fun doing all the great activities we tried during the trip. Can only recommend this tour!Show moreTrip date: December 2022
- Riley· December 19th, 2022Really great tour overall, got pretty lucky with some of the activities cause they can be weather dependent. Was not able to do black water and white water rafting on the north island or the Tongariro alpine crossing. Guy was extremely informative and was very flexible with changing plans if something didn't work out. Was a pretty good pace for most of the tour, aside from three places on the south island where we stayed for only night. Still saw the majority of the cool things around the island, would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore New Zealand!Show moreTrip date: November 2022
- TTimWiles· November 15th, 2019Great adventure, alot of experiances to enjoy. Its a slower pace tour in the sense that there is alot of time on the road travelling from place to place. The nightlife scene was more around Pubs rather than clubs. The tour is mainly focused on exploration, seeing the country via Hikes, Planes, Helicopters and such. There are many cultural experiances that get you into the Kiwi lifestyle, along with plenty of lord of the rings experiances along the way.Show moreTrip date: July 2019
- MMitchellMuscat· November 14th, 2019Do it, it was one of the best experiences of my life. Going on a trip by myself and making plenty of life long friends and memories. Plus the views were spectacular!Trip date: July 2019
- Ashleigh· August 29th, 2019Had an absolute blast on this trip! New Zealand is such an incredible country and the trip was a great way to get a taster of both islands, I will definitely be returning to explore more. Our leader Jimmy and driver Em were both incredible at their jobs and made the experience that much better. Everything was well organised and the inclusions and optionals were great. I made friends for life on this tour and can't recommend enough! :)Show moreTrip date: July 2019
- Tom· October 5th, 2013It was a really amazing experience, I am really thankful for a good job Scotty and Craig did. Apart some small things like no wifi on the bus and crazy priced one at accommodations everything was really good. Really felt in love with Queenstown, Wellington , Milford Sound. However, I think , that some activities should be included , otherwise a day is spent doing nothing. E.g. Fox glacier, if you do not go for a hike , there's like 3 cafes and you in the middle of nowhere , same goes for rotorua , I did rafting , because otherwise there's nothing else to do, which is king of annoying a bit. Lastly, I suggest 1 day instead of 2 in Tongariro park , because apart from walks (it was raining and foggy) there's nothing else. More time in Wellington would have been cool. Also , if possible finish tours in a different way, because the last day of tour for nearly all people (6 day and 10 day and 14 day) was driving in the morning and getting left somewhere , in our case Auckland without a tour in the city and simply a sad mood. Apart from these small things ,everthing was amazing - the team, the people I went with , didn't expect so many solo travellers which made it so good. Loved the glow worms walk in Fox glacier forest , all the things done South Island - lake Matheson was amazing , lake Ahau , furry seals and overall all! ThanksShow moreTrip date: September 2013
- Sonia· October 13th, 2012Highly recommend this tour, had an amazing time, great group, and worth your money The only thing is do not expect top notch accommodations, many are very poor in standards But other than that great guide and driver and cant wait to go back :)Topdeck commented on this reviewThank you for your feedback, we are glad that you had a great time! We are always looking at ways to improve the standard of our trips and your comment regarding accommodation caught our eye. As our trips are catered for the 18-39 age bracket we tend...
