I always thought that being on your own and travelling at your own pace was the way to go. After this trip I realized how much more you get to see, learn about the culture and experience when you travel with a local guide! Both my guides were fantastic! They were informative, fun and most importantly trustworthy. Yanaika· November 26th, 2014This is the perfect trip to start exploring the Mayan route and more in Central America. You learn a lot about the different archeological sites, but there is also a lot of different landscapes to discover. The perfect thing about travelling with Intrepid is that you can do whatever you want to do. The tourguides are well knowledged and fun. They really want you to learn about the countries and try all different kinds of food. ATM caves, Tikkal and toasting marshmallows on the volcano were awesome! Probably my favourite bit of Central America.Trip date: November 2010
