Be aware some hotels lacked air conditioning & the first dinner in York you should order the half chicken if you're really hungry. The roast beef is good if you're not starving. The hotel near the loch had excellent dinner but I wouldn't order the vegan option, 2 friends did & didn't like it. There were several other optional tours that were available to book while on the coach via cash or card. Also, make sure to be on time, timeless has a huge impact on this tour. They made us laugh so much and we learnt so much. It was amazing. If He didn’t know the answer to our question. He would look it up or find out and would know by the end of the day, but there wasn’t much he didn’t know which was really fabulous. He’s spent time with all of us getting to know each of us and we become great mates. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept the group engage, He was one of the best I have seen in all my travels. This was my first bus tour and it was a wonderful experience. I would do again sometime in the future. My preference is cruises because it is more convenient. There is probably two improvements the tour company itself should improve upon. 1. The optional tours information should be given at time of booking with option to pay now or opt in at time of tour. Making decisions and collecting cash while in the bus isn’t practical for us passengers to have cash and the team leader to collect the cash. 2.
