The trip is really good, we have a small group of 4 ladies. Our tour leader Gracias Amigos who was knowledgeable and took good care of us. In Antigua, he hosted us lunch at his house. The most incredible thing was visiting the ATM cave in Guatemala, an optional activity which cost USD125.00/pp, but it was worthy.Besides, We have Jack Sparrow, who was an assistant guide of this tour, he was an nice guy as well. But I had to say, in San Ignacio, our hotel was too noisy, it was in construction and one day the wifi wasn't available.

The trip was very good!!! Jonathan was a wonderful tour guide: lots of knowledge, helpful, great restaurants that he recommended and also went with us. I would add a day in Antigua to the itinerary so that you can do a volcano tour if you want and an extra day in Belize to end the tour comfortably. Thank you for this trip!

Such a great trip, the old Colonial City of Granada, the wildlife at Rio Dulce, the Mayan ruins at Tikal and Caracol, lovely stopover in Flores and the beaches and reef (plus the chilly vibes) of Caye Caulker.

Me and my partner did recently the trip from Guatemala to Mexico, and the itinerary was good. We visited very nice places, met nice people. Our tour guide Cristina was very nice, helpful person, but I think the tour guide was trained just to take us to the most expensive reistaurants without asking what food we would like to try. Also try to convince us to take the optional activities even if we were not interested in some, for example: Tube caves in San Ignacio or ATM. Sometimes we were not told what is the plan for a day in advance or what is the price for taxi or other optional activietes before we decided. The Chichen Itza tour for me simply looked like if we wanted to get from Tulum to Playa del Carmen,we had to pay to take the Chichen Itza tour, which it looks like there was no transport included in the main tour. The last restaurant we were taken in Playa del Carmen was a big mistake; the prices are in UK or USA and not even tasty. But the important of it was that the turists/travellers will pay a lot of money for poor quality food. Overal we enjoyed to visit the Central America but it is unlikely that I would undertake another trip with Intrepid. Tipping the drivers is optional but it was made up like mandatory. You will speed a lot more money on top of what you paid for the tour! They just see your money.!

Andres was an excellent tour guide. He made the trip so easy and he was very well organized. The sites we visited were very worth seeing, and the itinerary was the perfect balance between organized versus optional activities.
