- AGAlexis· October 17th, 2024The destination cities and tour leader were great! Ricardo with Expat Explore was amazing and very knowledgeable about all of the places we visited. We did not miss out on any information. We did also get to experience a different perspective from various local guides as well. The hotel rooms began very good, as the tour went on the rooms were small and were older/ in need of a facelift/ repair. Unless you are paying for your own meals, the meals provided are not that great and honestly are a let down especially when you are trying to taste some of the cusine of Spain.Show more

Accommodation was adequate, as were the included meals - some were better than others. Overall I have no complaints. However and I blame Tour Radar for this - I paid the supplement for single room and it wasn't communicated to the tour company. The restaurant choices of the included dinners were poor quality food and service, some feels like a rip off. Some of the guide recommendations were poor qualities venues too. - NWNastassja· May 17th, 2023If you are in your 20’s (or even in your 30’s) this is not the trip for you. For 9 days you are the youngest by 30 years, will constantly be told to go to bed early and not go out. the age difference wouldn’t be a problem if they treated you with respect. At the end of the day I paid for this trip just like everyone else, what do my parents thoughts have to do with it? You will also get hit on by a driver and your guide who are old enough to be your father. You also get bullied and belittled if you are a few minutes late due to unforeseen circumstances (lift not working). No activities are included, only walking tours. Everything else is extra and needs to be paid in cash only. The tour guide would always say 10-15 minute walk and it would end up being 30-60. The wifi on bus is weak, which makes it hard to keep your self entertained on the bus. While there is a toilet on board you are discouraged from using it. All included meals are cold and bland. If you’re vegetarian, all you get are sad looking salads (lettuce and tomato). Even if this is traditional, it is not enough. The tour guide even complains about the hotels and included meals which makes it hard to be excited. But his complaints are valid. Hotel rooms don’t even have a kettle, have the worst beds, and dirty facilities. Waking up on the 3rd night I was covered in bug bites that hurt and burned for days. During our first breakfast, a member on the tour had her handbag stolen… from the hotel with her passport, phone, wallet etc. this made me question our safety from day one. One hotel asked us to hand in our passports on arrival and we didn’t get them back for hours. I was not comfortable with this. The tour guide pushed for a quick check in. All the hotels are on the outskirts of the cities, not in the cities making it hard to experience the cities themself if you want to go out for dinner or a drink after check in. Best part of the trip was the flamenco show in Seville… an optional extra.Show moreTrip date: May 2023
