Back in 1989, two guys from Melbourne, Australia by the names of Darrell and Manch set off on an adventure to the other side of the world. They travelled to Africa and without air conditioning on their modified truck, they filled it with supplies, some beer, a bunch of aviator sunglasses, and...

Had great time. Excellent team work from our Leader Nash , our Chef lbrahim and driver John , because of their great leadership skills and co operations . The talks with Nash , great meals from our Chef and wondersful long distance driving by John. All group members were great souls , very easy vibrate energies and always happy to assist with everything. This was my first camping experience but lve learned to put up and down the tent with assistance and was borrowed some gadget that l didnt know were necessary. Sharing great experiences with everyone was wonderful and my roommate was like my big sis. No regrets but great memories that ll treasure for life. Thanx to everyone

Many extremely long travel days with no activities & very brief stops. Truck was overcrowded with 20 pax & seats uncomfortable. No recline or armrests; little padding. Chores were a drag as certain idividuals starting taking charge & accusing some of not doing their part. Tent mattresses were super thin uncomortable & for myself inadequate. So I upgraded accommodation most nights even though I had paid for a single supplement. The trip left me exhausted & sick and it took 3 days to recover from it at the end. Way too much time on the road & super early starts did not feel much like a holiday. Milennials formed cliques & pretty much excluded those of us over 50. Never again with an overland camping trip.

The trip was amazing. Mambo was an exceptional guide, very knowledgeable and we enjoyed getting to know him on the trip. Henry cooked really good food and prepared great vegan options for us. Ben was a great driver. The itinerary was great, we loved the rhino trek, game drives, Vic Falls and everything on the trip

All of our staff (tour guide, driver, and cook) were extremely knowledgable, kind, and ready to do what ever they could to make the trip enjoyable for everyone. All of the little details were taken care of so we didn't need to worry about anything except experiencing the amazing countries firsthand.
