Our guides were all so knowledgeable and engaged, and we saw some rare sights, such as pygmy elephants and orangutan mom and baby in the wild. Our 15 member group was pretty easy to travel with, not much drinking or whining either. We saw the wildlife we'd hoped to see, though I'd hoped they'd tell us more information about what we were seeing and about Borneo itself. The accommodation is basic for the most part, perhaps more so than people were expecting. My top tip? We stopped in a small village (we were the only tourists there) they had a real issue with dogs, large packs constantly fighting which was quite scary.
