The Pearls tour was terrific. We saw a wide swath of Albania, were introduced to its various cultures, tasted many of its traditional foods, and stayed in nice hotels throughout. Albania was full of jaw-dropping beautiful sights. We were surprised by the variety and beauty of its landscapes and seascapes. We found the Albanian people to be very welcoming and friendly -- and also helpful whenever we needed it.
- by Frank SchranzExcellent support from the Choose Balkans team from planning through the whole trip. Excellent guide during the tour with alot of knowledge about the country the culture and the history. The hotels were very good and most had a local character. Overall we were very satisfied and would definitely recommend the tour.

Es war alles toll organisiert. Trotzdem waren wir enttäuscht, weil wir nicht zum Donaudelta gefahren sind. Das war unser eigentlicher Reisegrund.

A very interesting 10-day tour but a bit of rush almost every day due to the distance or number of countries covered within 10 days. It was disappointing that we couldn’t visit Mostar because of weather conditions.
- by Joy ChangIt was an absolute waste of $20000 including tour and flights. First of all tour is not of 14 days, Day 1 is airport transfer and Day 14 is checkout without the airport transfer. 2 Days of 12 Hour Day time ferry trips where you have nothing to do other than looking at the water. Effectively it’s an 10 day tour and apart from Rome and Athens no major cities to cover. Some days you’ll travel upto 600km in a day on a bus and stops are only for 1-2 hours. It was a very disappointing experience because all you see is Cathedrals, Monasteries. I do not recommend this tour at all because it’s a waste of your hard earned money.

A wonderful tour visiting numerous places in The Balkans, full of history and culture. I enjoyed learning about each place as we visited and taking the walking tours of each city given by local guides. It is certainly a whistle-stop tour of many of the places visited due to the vast distances travelled, so bear that in mind, however we always had a few hours in each place to explore before getting onto the bus again. Our tour leader Simon was the most fantastic guide who could not do enough for us all (despite it being a challenging group). He went above and beyond at all times, always ready to answer questions or provide help and advice, and providing great suggestions of places to visit or eat/drink everywhere we visited. A fantastic trip to get a taste of each of the countries within the Balkans and to learn more about their history. I will certainly be returning to explore this area further!
- by Katy BurtonThe sites and locations were ok but were let down by poorly chosen bus, considering the length of time driving around in the bus. There were no usb power point, trays to put food, snacks on, no toilets and lots of discomfort because one side of the bus, space was alot smaller (front section opposite the driver's side). Many people in the groups were selfish, inconsiderate, self entitled, fakey and ignorant. We all know which group it is that displayed these behaviours. Instructions from the tour guide were inconsistent and needs better structure and planning. For example, instructions for each day (breakfast time, meeting point, which country, passport, toilets breaks, etc) needs to be either shared on paper form (or people can take a pic of it on their phone) or instructions repeated on the shared WhatsApp group so people with poor attention and memory (lots of senior people) on the trip can refer to the schedule. This helps with timing and people knowing where to go and limit latesness to the bus etc. Lots of small but vital information we're either poorly communicated (when half the bus was asleep) or were missing entirely. Changing of bus seats with every new hotel was poorly handled because of inconsiderate people sitting anywhere they want and wasnt handled or policed well. The tour guide saying "we are adults here" does not help as these so called adults act like preschooler. The bus had face masks available but the group of people that cough the most did not bother to cover their mouths to limit infection. Again, it is the same group of people who is inconsiderate of others but the tour guide should of stepped in. Another rude admission is that there were no dinner included at all, zero. Everyone has to plan for their own dinner, although the suggestion given by the tour guide help a lot. The only positive items on the trips were that most of the hotels chosen were very good with breakfast that were much better than Western European countries which I attended with another tour company. Overall, organisation could be better, bus chosen needs serious consideration. The behaviour of the people on the tour needs better policing so everyone can enjoy the experience without putting up with selfishness and ignorant people.

We saw a lot in this 13 country trip over 26 days, however, the trip would have been more enjoyable and less stressful if Expat would have chosen better quality hotels, modified the itinerary so that the group would have arrived at the hotel by 6 or 7 pm instead of 9 - 9:30 pm followed by a 6:30 am breakfast and 7:15 am back on the bus schedule. Expat should identify that participants have to be quite fit, able to walk at a speed of 5 km/3 miles per hour for 1-3 hours on the city orientation tours and have to carry/drag their heavy suitcase up 2 or more flights of stairs because some of the hotels have no elevator or inadequate elevators. The tour leader should also slow down his/her walking speed to avoid falls and loosing tour members during the walk!
- by Egbert EngelmannThe travel was excessive. Keep destination to just 4. Switzerland, Venice, Budapest and Paris with 3 to 4 days halt each. Improve coach seats. They were too narrow.

I had mixed views on this tour. The tour guide was very good, approachable and helped whereever possible but what was really disappointing for me was the bikes. They were sub standard. The gears slipped, the wheels werent balanced and the brakes were faulty. Even after they went for a service they still werent good enough. This spoilt the overall experience for me. Please invest in some good quality bikes for future.
- by Jotinder DharniGreat, varied tBulgaria our with an excellent, knowledgeable tour guide Lubo. Good accommodation and good tour van. Despite intensive tours, plenty of free time

Makis was an excellent driver, the itinerary was comprehensive and the guides were well versed in their subject matter.

Enjoyed a beautiful vacation in Greece. Shell of a tour with not much included as stated. Ran into a few snafu's that were quickly and efficiently resolved by the tour company with care and consideration as well as cost refunds and room upgrade. Thanks Barb. This tour would benefit greatly from a couple of added excursions. Also of note, Galaxy Villa's in Crete should be avoided.
- by Jill CornellierLove TourRadar and will sing their praises to anyone who will listen. Great support from minute trip was booked and throughout our whole journey. They kept in touch and on track daily. Any query dealt with super quick. Would definitely use again.

Our experience working with Click Tours for our 10 Charming Greece and Islands #213730 was amazing! From Elias meeting us at the airport, giving us a detailed itinerary discussion to picking us up from the hotel for our departing flight at 6:00 am was perfection. The two day classical tour to Delphi we visited Apollos Temple, the Theatre and the Stadium then had dinner(included) at our hotel The next day visited Meteora UNESCO site of 2 monasteries. Our tour guide, Sophia, was incredible, full of knowledge on history and the country of Greece. She was prepared giving us our earplugs to hear every account without surrounding noise. Bus driver, George, was very pleasant and helpful getting us on and off the bus. The next day we toured the city of Athens via bus passing famous buildings of Athens, such as the Parliament, Constitution Square, and memorial of the Unknown Soldier. Personally, it woulod have been nice to get off bus for some of these stops, however, there wasn't any parking for buses. Our bus headed to the National Acropolis Acropolis followed by touring the famous Acropolis.. Our tour guide did not provide any headsets for listening as I saw many, many other tours had. He was not attentive to make sure all the group was together. We got lost in the beginning.

Overall experience is average. Hotels not worth paying additional $1K each for upgrade as most hotels are very old and basic. Tour Guides are ok, friendly, caring and helpful. I cannot comment on their knowledge on the places that we visited and history as I was not paying attention to any of them as I do not have much interest. Vans are good, new and comfortable for us. Djan is good with planning and proactive and communicate well.
- by Tin Ei Ei KhinThis was a comprehensive tour of Serbia, Romania, and Bulgaria arranged very efficiently by Balkan&more, especially Ivona. All the arrangements went through smoothly, and our guide Igor and driver Zika were very professional and competent, and very friendly and nice too! They all took good care of us and we are very happy with the services received. We definitely recommend Balkan&more for any travel arrangements in the Balkans. We enjoyed every moment!
