    • I really enjoyed my guide. She was pleasant and sweet. She knew recommendations for us to eat and tours to attend. Accommodating. When I arrived at the first hotel I was told the water was complementary. But when I checked out I had to pay for the one water bottle I drank. Second hotel.. was ok. Third hotel was the worst. If I had any physical limitations I would not have gotten up the hill. I think the accommodations of the third hotel put restrictions with people with disabilities. In conclusion, they only gave me one towel (No toiletries or face towels). I would not recommend this trip for individuals that are not moderately fit or have some disabilities. Overall I had a Great Guide that earn 5 stars

    • LORENZO!: The Man. The Guide. THE LEGEND! Great guide, though he didn’t have to do much on this trip b/c the itinerary is pretty sparse (not guides fault). Be warned, the only real planned activities on this sparse itinerary are at Iguazu Falls & at the ranch in Uruguay. Don’t be fooled by the Buenos Aires & Rio de Janeiro on the itinerary, these are merely entrance and exit spots for their airports. There are no appreciable planned activities, tours or sightseeing. If you want to see these two major cities, and all they have to offer, you will definitely need to plan extra time on either end of your trip and do it on your own. Although there can be some benefit to a free and open unplanned itinerary, I found it very inefficient as the majority party (same Country members of your group) decides what you do, and I would’ve spent my time very differently if I had the choice. Also, there are nowhere near the number of included breakfast in the itinerary, as most days you are leaving before breakfast is provided, I think maybe we got three or four breakfasts. Overall, hit some high spots if you include time on either end on your own, but not a packed and planned itinerary like other intrepid tours I have been on.

    • My friend and I had a great time during our tour. From the time we were picked up from the airport in Buenos Aires and back to the airport in Rio, the prearranged tours were packed with the must-see spots in both cities but the best is the iguazu falls. We saw both sides (Argentina/Brazil) and it was awesome. The tour also has a relaxed schedule that we don’t feel drained at the end of the day. It was great too that there were free days so we had a choice to chill or just roam around the city. The tour company is very responsive to questions prior and during the tour. Thanks team for making our vacation memorable😘

    • I arrive 3 days early to go to the waterfalls and I didn't have a transportation to go to the hotel I had to go to the hotel by myself... And pay by my own pocket. I informed tour radar , I would like a transfer but when I arrive in Brazil I couldn't contact anyone...

    • Just got home from this tour, it was amazing! Our tour guide, Berner, was the best. As a very limited Spanish speaking person, it was so so helpful to have the guide to help with airports, ordering food, understanding the cultures, tipping, etc. We went through heaps of Inca ruins including Machu Picchu. If you like hiking definitely do the single day Inca trail trek, it was one of my favourite hikes ever, and it ends at Machu Picchu. We did a hike up rainbow mountain on our free day in Peru which was well worth it, but the altitude is a big adjustment. Peru was definitely my favourite country to visit. Bolivia / La Paz was a nice, we went to the Cholitas wrestling on our free afternoon and it was wild/great. Lake Titicaca was beautiful but mostly a tourist trap. Isla de Sol was so beautiful. Paraguay felt quite dangerous, but we were only there for a night. And it was necessary to get to Iguazu. Definitely need your yellow fever international certificate (yellow booklet) to get into Paraguay. Iguazu falls on the Argentina side was so beautiful. The walk is filled with butterflies. Definitely do the boat cruise to the base, but you will be soaked so take extra clothes and shoes. The Brazilian side of the falls is packed with tourists and no where near as enjoyable as the Argentinian side. Rio was amazing, I wish I had a spare day or two here to explore a bit more. Christ the Redeemer is magnificent. It feels a bit unsafe at night time though, the day is fine. Would definitely recommend! There’s lots of travel days but so worth it. The altitude in Peru can make you feel a bit yuck but you adjust. Enjoy! And thank you!

    • Since the company support could not offer any satisfactory resolution and I've been completely ignored by the CEO - here's my experience with TourRadar. As a 74-year-old woman, I had heard about the prevalence of violent crime in Brazil, so I opted for a group tour to prioritize my safety. After declining a private tour offer from another company, I booked a 9-day group tour with TourRadar from September 26th to October 4th, 2024, paying 3,144.63 Euros. On the 26th, two young men claiming to be TourRadar representatives arrived to pick me up, but they informed me that I would be on a private tour, contrary to my booking. I asked them please call me when you arrange a group tour as soon as possible since I will be in a hotel lobby waiting. While I was waiting for 4 hours, I called my bank and found out that TourRadar charged my credit card in full. Meanwhile, they kept texting me every few days that they were investigating and will be in touch. I had to spend thousand of Euros more since I had to pay for the hotels and the flights which would be included in the group tour. I had been in excellent health, with three COVID vaccinations and no illnesses in ten years. This trip was my first vacation in four years. Instead of enjoying Brazil, I experienced immense stress and frustration as I scrambled to find alternative last minute travel plans which was impossible. TourRadar's negligence and lack of transparency have not only ruined my vacation but also compromised my health. I have been unwell since September 27th. TourRadar's refusal to give me a refund, despite my clear booking for a group tour and the fact that I never participated in the tour, is unacceptable. I have reported this incident to the Brazilian and Berlin police for fraudulent activity to prevent others from falling victim to such deceitful practices.

    • I really enjoyed the tour but had some reservations, the Guacho ranch tour was way too expensive, the transfors from airport was way too expensive Suggestive tips to bus driver and local guides were stated, but I did not see suggestive tips to tour director. Excellent hotesl and very good guides. The price of the Escape tour was very good.

    • The tour, the tour director, and the hotels were excellent. However, we will NEVER use Tourradar again due to the misinformation that you gave us prior to our trip. Examples: First, we were told that we could not bring a second piece of luggage without paying an extra daily fee- and that the carry on had to be no bigger than 12x11x6. We worked very hard to comply with that strict standard. So, imagine our surprise and anger when EVERY other tour member had a large checked suitcase, a standard carry on suitcase with wheels, and a personal bag much larger than those measurements! Secondly, we asked 3 times (April 24, 25, 27) if we would be flying on Aerolineas Air during our trip. Three times we were either just quoted the paragraph from the brochure that said, "if you fly on Aerolineas Air..." or outright told that we would not. So, we were pretty angry when we did in-fact fly on Aerolineas Air. So we had to pay the extra weight fee. (If we had been allowed to divide our luggage between our large suitcase and a carry on, we would not have been over their 17kg limit.) Lastly, your brochure said that there would be headsets throughout the tour. Turns out there was not one headset an ANY tour. Many times, especially when we were on a busy street, we could not hear a thing that the tour guide told us. We paid a lot of money to learn what we could about these places that we would never visit again, so we were really cheated out of what we paid for.

    • It was a well organized tour with a packed schedule of a great curation of activities to get a glimpse of the beauty of Brazil. All those involved in the trip were very communicative and professional and knowledgeable about the location and the activities. The only downside of the trip was that each location has so much to see and not enough time to see it all.

    • Land of the Jaguar? - well it certainly was - in fact it was 8 - yes, 8 different jaguars for most of us. Fairly long spells in small boats rewarded us in many ways - not just with sightings of the apex predator but everything that makes up it's environment! An amazing experience.  What was the most inspirational moment of your trip? Seeing the first big male on the beach, on the first afternoon - not bothered by us - going about his business.... and then again seeing him on the last afternoon of the river trip bit, for a last farewell! Special indeed!Spending over 8 hours one day watching a family of jaguars playing, sleeping and just chilling - while we got all hot and bothered about our ISO's, slow panning and all the niggly creepers and vines that insisted in getting in our shots - but that's wildlife photography for you! Oh, and lunch arrived by some special boat force! Fantastic! What did you think of your group leader? Paul Goldstein - well, not sure I can think of anything that hasn't been said before. His first trip to the Pantanal - he marshalled us around in the bosts as if we were on the plains of Africa, even the jaguars responded and came out to provide us with hours of entertainment - just like Paul did too! Fantastic job as usual.Juan-Paulo, the local guide was very helpful and good at organising us all! Do you have any advice for potential travellers? Take a hat and suncreen. I would also say take lots of insect repellent but I'm not actually sure any of it would actually work! We used it by the bucket-load but most of us got bitten anyway at some point; some more than others and if like me you can react to bites badly, then be prepared to suffer! Is there anything else you would like to add? A fabulous trip - great wildlife to see, from the birds to the otters, caiman and of course the elusive jaguar (or not so in our case)! Recommended viewing indeed! The accommodation was very good and the last lodge Araras is a great way to unwind from the excitement of the river bit, but of course there is also lots ot see and do there too!Go Nuts indeed for this Brazilian adventure!

    • Great things about Glamping: The hosts are a well-educated, knowledgeable couple who are excellent conversation partners if you are interested in learning the environment, history, and culture of the place. The villas are cozy and quiet, in a unique half-nutshell shape. We enjoyed the singing of frogs at night and birds in the morning. We also loved that even the lamps for the path are made of bamboo. It's a great place for nature-lovers. In addition, the zip-lining and hiking added a lot of charms to our trip. We highly recommend it. Not so great things about Glamping: The booking platform has a Iguazu Falls' view for Glamping, and it is misleading. It is by a river, not the falls. Other than the host couple, others do not speak English, making communication a bit difficult. Since the location is far from everything, you have to take a taxi to town if you want to dine elsewhere and see the town. There's no store or vending machine on site, so you have to bring everything you need. Meals have to be pre-ordered. In spite of the inconveniences, we totally enjoyed our stay at Glamping. Claudia and David are wonderful people. They made our stay at Glamping memorable. The lush, giant tropical vegetation and the toads & bugs all added charms to the place.

    • tours are very good. stayed in glamping selva Iguazu is an excellent experience. The managers, Claudia and Dave, there are very friendly and knowledgeable. We learnt a lot from them. The hotel is in the jungle, we can see Parana river from our cabin (villa). Swimming pool there is good too. Only issue is that it is access to the hotel. Road is unpaved and bumpy. but we enjoy the days there.

    • We loved our group tour with Explore. There were only 14 on the tour which is very manageable and everyone was very fun and sociable. Marcello, our guide, was a prince of a man. He was very engaged with each of us, very protective, and always made us feel welcome and that we belonged. He spoke English, Spanish and Portuguese, which made it very easy to travel with him. Our day guides, for our Buenas Aires walking city tour, was very knowledgeable as well as our guide for the Igazu Falls on both the Argentina and Brazil sides. All the places we stopped in Brazil were perfect... small town, island, and of course Rio! Personally would always prefer staying in higher end hotels, but what we had was fine. Fortunately I was able to stay 3 days before and 3 days after in hotels that were really nice and gave time to integrate other places into our adventure. I know it is challenging to have a big group eat together at a restaurant, would just want to make sure that all the options we had were good ones. I highly recommend this trip and would do it all over again!

    • Daria at ETours Brazil was great at assisting me in organizing everything from the airport transfers to hotels. Unfortunately the guides on the the tour were not great, on the first day we were in a German-English combination tour and the guide, Katrin, felt passionless and I left the tour feeling as though I did not learn much about such a great city. On the second day we had Alberto, who was much better and took the time to explain more of the city to us in detail. Overall for convenience, ETours does make planning a bit easier but this is very much a trip I could have organized on my own.
