As always, the tour was jam packed with excursions. The guide was knowledgeable, but often spoke in a voice that was difficult to hear.
- by William SherryFantastic tour, really well organised. The guides both in Cairo and on the nile were amazing, really knowledgeable and we learned such a lot about this incredible country. The cruise was a real highlight, good food, we got free time on deck as we sailed and also free time at each of the temples. Would really recommend the balloon flight.....unforgettable! Thanks to Harry, Abdou and Ahmed.

It was an incredible experience, we could not have had a better guide. The organization was good but many of the extra activities were overpriced and the quality of the hotels and the train left something to be desired. Overall very good but there are things to polish.

Ok....due to the fact that I clearly stated the day of arrival....and no greeting at airport left me in a lurch of where I was going ...staying...was a mess and stressful...after finally getting it figured it out....paying an extra 140 dollars was not cool. The overall van and transport was nice....the drive to the boat...you need to promote the airplane more....the road is horrendous..the sights were great...the vendors not so much.Tour guides explanations were good...needs to lighten up a tad...and try to inject maybe a bit of humour into it.The boat on the nile was nice.....the food very bland....could do with out the two day stop in Hurghada...not a resort kind of person.....if there was more info on golf there I would of been happy. Trip back to Cairo was ok.....long and last day at museums I felt a tad rushed while trying to take photos. Best stop there was at market where you didn't have to haggle on items......other then that it's ok....but again could pass on perfume factory... papyrus place...or alabaster shop....just felt pushed to buy things. Again I would recommend the company....but won't go above okay.....think it's hard to please everyone but it was a cultural eye opener.Best of luck in future to timeless travels....they will work out the kinks.
- by Ron scholteI am so happy I found this tour group and so grateful for a wonderful trip!! Hany from Timeless Tours was so helpful with all of my questions and concerns before and even after the trip. Safety was a top concern but Hany was extremely responsive and indicated how flexible they are should I have wanted to adjust plans! Not only did it feel very safe throughout the trip but I had a blast on the Luxor hot air balloon (and of course loved all of the temples and sites)! After the safety concerns, the next thing I appreciated most about this trip was how small the group was. My group was only 6-9 people during the 10 day trip but we periodically combined with different people from another small group and this was very enjoyable! (I am still texting regularly with many of these friends & we hope to meet up again in Egypt and other countries!) I had a terrific time but shared my feedback for improvement and this was taken earnestly. I really appreciate a company that cares about their clients even after payment or transaction is complete. It shows they value their mission, customers and reputation. I had a great time and would love to go on another tour run by Timeless Tours!

This itinerary was mouth-watering. To see childhood classroom lessons in ancient history come to life was simply mind blowing. The cultural and social experiences provided

Our tour guide was very informative, he explained everything very well, we felt very comfortable with him and was always very polite, we were very glad we had him as our tour guide
- by carmel barbara. They apologised and offered us a $225 credit. To be honest the Egypt trip was great historically and the 2 guides we had were great. The Nile boat was old and the cabins and sundeck needed refurbishing. El Karma was a disaster. It equated to a UK 1960’s Butlins. Food was just slop. Pools were green. Not a good experience at all. We were glad to leave. Drinks were all Egyptian alcohol, which was not good. It all tasted the same. 5-star in Egypt is equivalent to 1-2 star anywhere else in the world. Overall we are glad to have done it, definitely an Intrepid Journey, but would we go back, definitely not.

As a first time traveller to Egypt, this was a great way to see all of the major sites. I really enjoyed the river cruise, the room was very clean and food had great variety and was delicious. All of the personnel I encountered throughout the tour, reception, housekeeping staff, drivers, We’re all very helpful and friendly. My tour guide, Hassan, was very professional, funny and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour.
- by Alisa YaseminI travelled to Egypt for the first time with my family last week and had the best experience with Holiday In Egypt’s Queen Cleopatra tour. Our guide Hassan explained all of the amazing sites to us in detail and I thoroughly enjoyed the itinerary. All of the accommodation was excellent, including the train - it was an adventure and that’s what we travel for. The boat cruise was fantastic - the spacious, clean room, amazing food, friendly staff, excellent sun deck, nightly entertainment and sharing the Egyptian culture through dance and music made this tour memorable. I highly recommend Holiday In Egypt.

Our trip with Itaca Holidays was absolutely incredible! From the pyramids in Cairo to the stunning Nile cruise and the beautiful beaches of Hurghada, every moment was unforgettable. Our guide in Cairo, Karim, was so knowledgeable and made the history come alive. The Nile cruise was luxurious, and the crew, led by Captain Hany, treated us like royalty. In Hurghada, we enjoyed snorkeling in the Red Sea and a thrilling desert safari organized by Tarek. Everything was seamless, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend Itaca Holidays!
- by dylanmurphy987Itaca Holidays made our Egypt trip unforgettable! The Cairo tours were fascinating, and our guide, Ali, was so passionate about Egyptian history. The Nile cruise was the highlight of our trip—peaceful, luxurious, and filled with breathtaking views. The staff, especially Samira, made us feel so welcome. Everything was well-organized, and the team was always available to help. We highly recommend Itaca Holidays for anyone visiting Egypt!

El viaje fue maravilloso, nuestro guía Ihab nos ha explicado con detalle todos los monumentos, templos, etc Recomiendo 100%
- by EstherFar too much time hanging around in Saudi Arabia (on one day with no access to breakfast or lunch. Madinah visit a waste of a day really. Not enough time spent in Jordan (Dead Sea and Little Petra missing) And, Egypt would have been as good self guided. Otherwise fairly well organised and the reps tried hard. Was surprised to have to pay US$100 for ‘tipping’ in Egypt, hidden charges are a big no no, and no evidence of good use of there funds. We would like it refunded.

From beginning to end and the 12 days in between Trafalgar had every detail of the very busy touring schedule carefully planned. Instructions were repeated numerous times so there was no doubt when to meet for guided tour. Free time was given at each tour site after being guided, with instructions when to re group. touring was thorough main historic sights were included with trip package. There were numerous optional experiences averaging about $100 US each. Arriving at hotel late and very tired we DID NOT have to stand in line to get checked in, we were pre checked in. On arrival handed our keys and directly to room. End of trip transfer to airport was organized and stress free.

Getaways Tour Egypt 10 days from 22 Nov 2024. Great guide, good itinerary but a bit rushed at times. Only fault - internal flight.
- by Michelle-Rose JanseAll The Splendor of Ancient Egypt delivered. This was my first small group tour and first booking on TourRadar, and both experiences were great. Excellent communication and support from the local tour provider who waited patiently outside the terminal in Cairo until 2am as I tried to locate my luggage, which British Airways had left in London. We had great local guides Abduo in Giza and Saqqara, and Medhat who covered the trip from Luxor to Aswan as we visited the temples and tombs of the Kings of Egypt along the Nile. Hot Air Balloon above the Valley of the Kings is a must do, the highlight of the trip. Abu Simbel is a 3-plus hour ride each way for a 90 minute visit. It’s a unique site, and you might regret not going if you skip it. I’m glad I’ve seen it, but wouldn’t go twice The only day I would have left out was the trip to Alexandria. Not enough on the itinerary to justify the very long ride each way. The catacombs were interesting, but really underwhelming after seeing the tombs and temples along the Nile. The Fort we visited was a replica of one that previously stood on the sight. All in all, a fabulous trip made even better by the fellow adventurers in our small group. Will definitely book thru TourRadar again, and highly recommend the local Egyptian tour operator, Nourabelle Tours.

I travelled with my family. This is a comprehensive tour of Egypt that touches important sites. The Guides (Nasir and Hassan) were knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating. Special mention is driver in Cairo - Muzammil who was helpful. The management is organized, flexible, polite and is available for any support required. It was my first time in Egypt and it was hassle free because of the organization. Good value.
- by fahad nadeemThe Premium Trip to discover Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Abu Simbel nine days was an overall good experience. Egypt is amazing and it is a trip you will never forget. It was well organized and Egypt Direct responded quickly to questions or issues that arose. Our tour guides were excellent and we learned a lot from them. They were all truly kind people. The cabin on the boat for the Nile cruise can be quite chilly in December, (as is Egypt in general in December) so come prepared with warm clothes. Request a cabin on an upper deck towards the center to be as far away as possible from the engines. The downtime sitting up on the deck watching the view was beautiful and much needed rest. The hotel Barcelo Cairo Pyramids was average in terms of comfort, location and newness. Don’t hesitate to ask for a better room if you don’t like the one you’re given. Expect several very early mornings and quite a bit of time spent in airports, cars, and buses traveling to the different sites. The drive to Abu Simbel starts very early in the morning and is four hours one way. It is neat to see, but worth eight hours in a bumpy bus? Not for us. The tour company was very good about making sure we had breakfast to go with our early starts and it was nice having several meals included. The hot air balloon is something you don’t want to miss! Overall, thumbs up for this trip!

Five stars isn’t enough for the amount of fun we had on this tour! Absolutely incredible from start to finish. We were met at the airport by a driver and escorted from door to door as we saw the sites in Egypt. If you have concerns about safety please know that we felt safe the entire time. Egypt can be chaotic (especially Cairo) but the guides really know what they’re doing and if you listen to them you will be perfectly fine. This trip has a lot of moving parts but Mostafa was able to seamlessly coordinate our arrivals, drop offs, luggage transfers. I truly felt we could relax and enjoy what we were experiencing. Our guides were incredible- Ahmed in Cairo, Peter in Aswan and Edfu, Mo in Luxor. Very knowledgeable about culture and history, and also helped us navigate minor inconveniences readily (little things like getting my hiking bag through security, once again we always felt safe). I think Ahmed in Cairo gets extra credit for giving us a bit more of a local experience due to the small size of our tour group. I learned a lot, but I also had a ton of fun. Incredible value for the money with full support along the way, everyone down to the drivers were fantastic. Some words of advice (and these have nothing to do with the tour operator itself)- try to exchange at the airport and always carry local money. Also carry lots of bottled water! People are always trying to sell you things, just say Laa and keep walking and you will be fine. I’d also recommend a good bit of physical fitness, there’s a lot of walking and some climbing involved. We are reasonably healthy and also very excited generally so we were perfectly fine but I’d be mindful if you have any limitations. All of our love to Egypt Skyways from America 🇪🇬 thank you for having us in your beautiful country! السلام عليكم!
- by Nicole TraderOverall was very good. One of the destinations was not worth the 4 hour drive each way to visit and one guide that was not born to do the work they do. The hotel in Cairo was close to the Pyramids, but despite the name, the Pyramids were barely seen. The trip was well organised but we had to constantly contact the organisers the day before to get details for the following day instead of that being forthcoming from them. Egypt is a great cultural and historical trip to do and we are glad to do it but is a bit stressful the objectification of all the sellers on trying to get money out of us. Nothing to do with the trip but a bit more information could be shared with the guests on tip amounts, normal price of things, etc, so that we could have planned ahead. Also every single visit implies more payments from us, which was noted from before the trip.

Sherif Fawzy, was our guide on our fabulous "On the Go" Egypt tour. I can't rate him highly enough. Sherif is calm, organised, kind and thoughtful, and extremely knowledgeable. Our group of Kiwis, Australians and Canadians just loved him. Our every need was superbly looked after -nothing was an issue. Great leadership takes skill and guiding is like "herding cats" - but Sherif takes time to explain why, when and how, He kept us fully informed, patiently answered many questions, we truly felt like a "family" - this is the most memorable tour i have even been on and Sherif made it extra special.
- by Caroline JamesFrom the pick up at the airport to drop off the service was better than expected, very well looked after, felt very safe throughout and had an excellent tour guide Sherif who went above and beyond as well as being knowledgeable and helpful, look forward to booking my next trip
