I'm usually travel alone. This is not my type of traveling but because of Flying Kiwi, this trip turned out amazing.

The guide, Josie, was wonderfully knowledgeable and exceptional driver. She kept us not only in the loop all the time, but also used her personal knowledge living in NZ to our advantage throughout the journey. The only drawback that we have seen is the sequence for Mount Cook and Lake Tekapo's planned day is way too consolidated and the accomodation in Lake Tekapo should be changed to a better available option.
- by Derin Yonelkat was a great leader clean bus, excellent driving skills, and a commitment for timelines was appreciated.. negative- too many of the rooms were on second floors with no elevator music was played the instant the bus moved, rock and roll was the dominant theme very little reflected native/local culture

we had a fabulous time! If there would be a complaint it would be that we had a lot more meals and fun than what was advertised. Can't compliment this trip enough!
- by Laurie MeighanHad not travelled with Scenic before however I am now a convert. Totally enjoyed the places we visited and the free choices available. Top class local guides and excellent activities. New Zealand itself is beautiful. We were a group of 40 and everyone was fabulous. Our tour director Sally was brilliant, totally in touch with everyone and very jolly all along. Very professional. Our driver Alan was also excellent, very knowledgeable on all the places we travelled through. What a lot of fun.

I participated in af 4 days tour, witch was the first days of a 24 days tour around the whole New Zealand. The guide was very good and friendly and did a good job as guide and driver. There was 1 hole day with boat cruise and it was very good. I was disapointed because the 2 days was mostly driving days and 1 day was an off day for the guide/driver because of the rules for drivers and this day was in af very small town with mostly souvenir shops and restaurants (if you did not bye ekstra adventures or boattours like that the day before). One of the drivingdays there was at visit at a very interesting and beatifull historie park, but only 1 hour guided tour and only 30 minutes to look around. I think that it was a very expensive tour for what I get. The guide/driver could May be

It's a good tour for sight seeing and walking with plenty of adrenaline activities in the south Island. It would be worth arriving early to explore Auckland more maybe an extra night or two would be enough
- by Matt parryAmazing tour! I got to experience everything that was on my travel list for the country. I feel like we covered a lot for the number of days we were there. Was a great introduction and I would definitely return to New Zealand for more adventure.

I went on a wild kiwi tour of New Zealand and had the time of my life. Our guide Bennwas absolutely first class and it is a trip I will never forget.
- by Brendan MurphyI recently finished the New Zealand Highlights Tour with Wild Kiwi, and it was an incredible experience. The South Island was full of adventure, with highlights like skydiving, paddleboarding, and trekking through stunning scenery. Ben, our guide, was engaging, knowledgeable, and made the experience even better with his local insights. On the North Island, Telli took over and brought the same energy and expertise. Visiting Hobbiton was a highlight, along with jet boating and more trekking through beautiful landscapes. Both guides added so much value to the trip, making it feel seamless and enjoyable. If you're looking for a well-organized way to explore New Zealand and experience a mix of adventure and natural beauty, I highly recommend Wild Kiwi to anyone wishing to visit the country.

A unique experience to sleep in a camper in nature! The route was great again. The campervan allows you to see so much, you are independent of the location and can sleep wherever you want. Even if the weather didn't play along at times, the trip was great. The support for problems on site was very helpful and not a matter of course. I would be happy to travel with journaway again next time.

The trip is well organised and you get to cover a lot of places in the southern island. Our guide was Josh and he tried to make sure everyone felt included and learned as much as possible about New Zealand. We were asked for opinions, what we would like for breakfast, we had time for ourselves too, we even went out for dinner and had a nice and relaxing time.
Our guide was amazing. A couple of hiccups but he handled it well and made sure we arrived at our destination

It‘s s bit frustrating and very expensive if you‘re activities are almost only add ons that cost about 100 euros each and otherwise there is not much included.

New Zealand 🇳🇿 is amazing & a lot of nature spots with beautiful landscapes to see on the way. The highlights would include the River Valley in the North Island & Queenstown surroundings in the South Island. Will definitely come back one day!
- by Adam KomstaI can not recommend this tour enough! The small group creates an amazing space to bond quickly with fellow travelers and each day is busy but not overwhelmingly so. I feel like I really saw the whole country and got a feel for the real New Zealand! I made some amazing friends and experienced life so fully on my time with Backyard Roadies. This tour really has a bit of something for everyone!!

This tour was an unforgettable way to see the best of New Zealand's South Island in just 11 days! Perfect for the first-time travelers interested in exploring this beautiful island. The tour was well-organized, with comfortable hotels, and a great group of like-minded tourists. Most importantly, James, our local Maori tour guide made all the difference on this trip! He was attentive to the wishes of everyone individually and ensured we all were able to experience the landmarks and the activities we came to enjoy. He freely shared his personal knowledge of local and Maori customs, history, and culture, a standout perk you won't find anywhere else! We left New Zealand with many wonderful photos and endless memories of this amazing trip!
- by Tammy WilsonHad a brilliant time on the Weka trip. Lots of opportunity to go for walks. Abel Tasmin was brilliant. Fantastic boat trip on Milford Sound. Had some dreadful weather, resulted in road flooding,Katy did an amazing job driving through a major flood and also driving in bad visibility rain conditions. Nothing was too much for Katie always smiling and sorting us out and made sure we were well stocked with provisions.. big thanks, Jools
