I loved our tour covering all major cities. Our guide throughout the tour was very kind and helpful. Only thing is that we expected 4 star hotel as it was written in the description but the hotel quality was 3 stars where people joining from south america stayed at better hotels. Signing up from the united states didn't give that option to stay at better hotels.

This was my first tour, and I had a great time traveling from city to city and trying out different restaurants and accommodations. I had no trouble traveling alone on the trip. Diego, our tour guide, was quite remarkable due to his deep understanding of Spanish culture, his friendly nature, and his obvious passion for what he does! Having to manage a bus full of forty passengers showed just how organized he was.And the tour guides were incredibly knowledgable. Very good!

The hotel accommodation was good apart from the hotel in Oviedo. We felt that too much was crammed in to the 10 days for example travelling to Bilbao then being taken the next day to San Sebastián and back to Bilbao that evening. I would have preferred more time in Bilbao. The guide was not clear about travel timings regarding stops and meals, and wasn’t familiar with Northern Spain. We were told our trip from Madrid to the Rioja winery would be just over 3 hours it took nearly 6 and our lunch was a light tapas at the winery in the cellars that had been waiting for us. On another occasion lunch was cancelled at a stop and we moved on only to get to Oviedo for 5 o’clock to find all the restaurants unable to serve us as as it was a national holiday and they weren’t opening again till later. On the Sunday we travelled to see the cathedral at Mondonengo to find it closed. We travelled with you to Sicily last year and it was an excellent holiday. I found the tour operators you used ‘Mapping Journeys, less efficient and disappointing at times.

Totally disorganized. Delays everyday. Day one - my flight was delayed, So I got to the hotel late. No one in the front desk of the hotel knew about my trip. They were extremely rude and unwilling to help. They asked me check around the corner for a poster. It took a while to find the poster, which was written in Spanish. My tour company’s name ( tour radar or click tour) was not listed. Very confused, I called the emergency number supplied by Tourradar. No answer. I texted them and no answer. Very disappointed and frustrated already. I had to guess that the tour listed on the poster is probably my tour. But still very frustrated. Hoping to find my answer the next morning. Day two- I waited in the lobby after the breakfast to find out about my tour. There were several people waiting in the hotel lobby. Multiple tour companies were there. I got very anxious and asked around, but couldn’t find anyone to help me. Finally I talked to an English speaking couple who were also taking the same tour as I was taking. We waited over an hour for our guide. My tour company (click tour) is not existent. Every one was grouped with mapa or wamos tour. What an unpleasant surprise. Tour radar and click tour should have informed us. We were Greatly disappointed and upset

I would never use Tourradar again.

I was very disappointed in the tour. It started out well when I had quite a few “chat” discussions with TourRadar to book , review, ask questions and get information BEFORE the trip. It started to go south when I received information from an unknown operator named Greca. Then at the Lisbon airport I was unable to find our transfer person, who we found out left. We had the wrong tour, NOT the itinerary we had booked. Never heard of Europamundo. We had booked to go to Fátima and didn’t hear that we weren’t going until we arrived in Lisbon.Communication from TourRadar was non existent. Who was Greca? How did we get Europamundo? We had to make our own arrangements to get to Fátima. The only good thing was that we were reimbursed (at my request) for the cost of our own arrangements to visit Fátima. I appreciate that Tourradar did that. I still don’t understand the Greca and Europamundo connections that were very poorly communicated. I suggest that Tourradar not use them.

We were very happy with all aspects of this tour. The hotels were all excellent, with great buffet breakfasts and large well appointed rooms. They were not far from the city centres, so cab fares were affordable. The 5 city tours with local guides were all very good. We only had drivers in small vans due to there being, at times, only the 2 of us. Mostly, we had 4 in the van, no problems there. The drivers were friendly, courteous and attentive. The company provided 1 extra meal a day, apart from breakfast, either lunch or dinner, much appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend VPT.

Excellent tour: great hotels and guides, highly recommended. The only little problem was the lack of a detailed schedule for different activities.

We were a little disappointed in Granada when we didn't get a tour of the nicer part of Alahambra. I believe there were others who were very upset. Perhaps a better disclaimer would help to alleviate the disappointment.

I thought this tour was really good. We stayed together as a group and got to know many of the people. The hotels were very nice, the breakfasts were great. Most of the food was really good. Maria our Tour Guide was really great, keeping us all on track, letting us know historical facts, foods from each region and cultural facts. The tour was pretty fast paced, but we saw a lot and places we probably wouldn’t have gotten to on our own. We appreciated being picked up every morning and drive to each destination, then picked up again and onto our next. If we were tired, we were able to sleep on the bus. All the sights we saw in Spain and Portugal were amazing and gave us a good feel for both countries. Following the Wingbuddy tour, we had 9 days on our own before our next Wingbuddy tour in Italy, and had to find our way to each hotel, taxis, etc. We were happy to be back with a tour that made almost all the arrangements for us, so we could just focus on enjoying the sights and experiences arranged for us.

Tour was good except for Hotels Granada and Valencia which were too far from the old City. Also these 2 hotels had the shower over the bath which is dangerous for most of us over 70’s. As it was a Premium Tour this is not good enough. Tour leader was very nice and did a good job but we would’ve liked some information about the areas ie weather population crops etc, especially on the long trips fr Granada to Valencia and Valencia to Barcelona. Also having to take our own luggage from bus to station in Seville onto train and from train to bus is not good enough for a premium tour.

First time to trip and it was amazing. The culture, people, way of life, history & places we explored didn’t disappoint. Do make the effort to get out at night time as the cities really come to life & feel magical.

Tour guide Sergi was great, really patient, helped where he could and really genuinely tried to ensure everyone was having an amazing time. However, I felt the tour itself was way overpriced for what it was. I’m used to group tours having extras/experiences and felt this was just travel (all public), accommodation and the guide. I’ve paid have the price for group tours in Europe with same duration but multiple extras/activities. I also felt the accommodations were average, some above some below so it wasn’t as if that made up for it. I really do not know where the $7k went which is disappointing. I’m on my 7th group tour now and all others have made me feel I got real value for money.

Really enjoyed the first part in Spain and Portugal, helped especially by the guide. The Moroccan guide was a disappointment, Chefchouen and Fes wonderful, not sure why we went all the way to Marrakech for more of the same, and the tired hotel didn’t help. So pleased the group was a fantastic bunch. We had a ball in spite of other things.

The tour guide Angel was excellent. The tour was well structured and I liked how the optional tours were offered, so you could rest or continue exploring depending on what you wanted. The tour group was larger than I would have liked (41 people) but the tour was very well organized regardless of this

Our guide was outstanding! Accomodation and bus experience was excellent.

First off the tour we were in, 10 cities in Spain in 10 days, was advertised as having a maximum group size of 10. Yet for 70-75% of the time there were at least 20 people in the tour. One time there were around 30. I paid almost $5200 for 2 people for this tour, specifically choosing this because of the advertised group size. I complained and requested their help many times while on the tour. Their constant reply was that the max of 10 was how many seats they were allocated. This response they parroted several times. Nothing of this allocation was mentioned in their advertising. They even tried to pass the advertised group size as a technical error. Not only that but within a few days of my complaint and demand for compensation, they changed the website description of this tour to state the maximum group size is 35. Obviously they recognized their error. They tried to offer me an option to leave the tour without giving me any details if I left. Most of their responses were simple deflection or delay tactics. I have a complete record of their responses. There were issues relating to pickup times, grossly insufficient times to get a bit to eat between events (15 minutes one time). Their response was to nitpick over the minutiae while avoiding their false advertising. In the end, they refused any sort of refund and only compensated us by giving us a measly credit for a future tour. I wouldn’t use them if they were the last tour company in the world. Just sick and tired of their constant diversion from the real issue of the group size. I book this because we were on a tour with 25 people and found the attention was insufficient to warrant a large fee. Had Wanderful Holidays actually compensated rather than giving me a coupon, I might have reconsidered making this review.

Overall, the tour was EXCELLENT! All of the tour guides were wonderful. Spain was good, but I feel that my experience in Morroco was twice as good! Morroco has a lot of history, and I enjoyed learning more about Morroco's history and culture and visiting the municipalities of Rabat, Casablanca and Marrakesh. The optional excursions offered throughout the tour were excellent as well, and made my experience exceptional. I HIGHLY recommend this tour!!

Our trip to Southern Spain was amazing. Marco, our tour guide was excellent. He was so informative, friendly and helpful every step of the way. Tour was a good mix of group time, solo time, up time and down time. Highly recommend!

The hikes themselves were very nice. So the 3 day hiking experience was great. I was very disappointed with the optional last day as it really meant that the tour finished after day 4

The routes, landscapes, towns were amazing. Really enjoyed the history and architecture of medieval towns and their friendly.people. Good accomodations and breakfasts. Weather was unexpectedly way too hot which make climbing long hills very challenging. Suggest upgrading bikes to new lighter versions.

I planned to travel independently to the amazing cities of Andalucía but the logistics were a lot so I looked for a small group tour to ease our way. Moorish Andalucía fitted the bill perfectly. Siri was a caring and knowledgeable guide. The hotels and recommendations were excellent. It was a special experience

The Tour Director Atakan was very friendly, informative and outgoing...made the Tour very fun.

Don’t know how a 2 star company can hire and keep 5 star employees. The driver, Jose & Tour Director, Rachel, were excellent. Jose is an amazing driver who skillfully navigated tiny streets and kept us safe. He maneuvered the bus with incredible finesse. Rachel is knowledgeable, friendly, and her charming upbeat nature set the tone for our tour. She spoiled us with many treats that reflected the culture of places visited. She and Jose had a great rapport and their wit and humor only made things better. The tour itself was very disappointing. The ambitious itinerary disappointed because many of the stopping points were very short (an hour or so) and did not allow any in depth experience. For example, Fatima-the reason we chose this tour was 2 hours or less) and it was not possible to visit this shrine with any sense of reverence or to even see everything there. It was a frenzy of buying candles, lighting, praying. Mass was being said but I could only spend a few minutes there. Also had to make a mad dash t find souvenir shop and purchase items to bring home; holy water bottles and then try to fill them and run back to the bus. I have been on several European tours and never had to manage my own luggage. If I had known in advance, I would not have booked the tour because at 77, handling luggage is too much. In Malaga, we had to take our luggage up and down a very steep cobblestone incline. Even though the driver got us as close to the location as he could park, it was a nightmare. I tore a ligaments in my leg doing this and it pretty much ruined any further enjoyment of the tour because of the pain and restricted mobility. I am still being treated and have impaired mobility at home. The hotels were just OK. Some not so good -for example the first one with lime green decor, frozen in the 60’s or 70’s. It was worn out and too far from Barcelona to be accessible. The other hotels were typical of those catering to large groups-adequate, but showing their wear. The hotel staff in all the hotels was top notch. I could go on-but you get the idea.
