Excellent choice of places to visit. Tour Leader Chiara was fantastc. Nino the Driver was also very professional and friendly. Would recommend this tour to all my friends and acquaintances.
- by Ricardo MaltaAll fine otherwise. Guide and driver great. Major drawback was Starhotels Crystallo hotel in Bergamo - very basic - no tea or coffee facilities in room - big issue with us- nil available in lobby to make a cup of tea. No way would I describe this hotel as 4* The 2 dinners we ate there basically unedible.

This was a fantastic tour with a great itinerary visiting some of the most beautiful places in Italy. We had lovely, kind and thoughtful tour leader, Didi and an excellent coach driver Elia. The only thing I would recommend changing is to make the tour longer to have multiple night stays in order to better enjoy the places visited.
- by Andrew BonnerGreat value tour, our guide Didi was extremely helpful. All accomodation very good. Unfortunately rain meant we were unable to partake in the Prosecco tasting.

Marie was great. Would recommend!
- by John David MathenyOur guide, Ned, was great. The hotel Meininger was clean and comfortable in a college dormitory way, but not very friendly. I asked to reduce the centrally controlled thermostat because I sleep better when it’s cooler, and they said no. The hallways are not air conditioned at all. The rooms get hot during the day and the air conditioning won’t stay on without the key in the slot. I’d rather pay a few dollars more and adjust the temperature to my own needs. The tour has lots of walking but it was enjoyable to see Milan’s highlights. Lake Como was gorgeous scenery, perfect weather, and we had enough time for a nice meal in Bellagio and a drink in Varenna. The train ride back to Milan was standing room only, and hot and stuffy, followed by a long wait in line at the taxi stand. I’d rate the tour guide higher than the accommodations. I suppose that the name of the tour agency (Italy on a Budget) should give a warning that all is not going to be first class.

All the places we went to were very comfortable and very nice. Attention always at 100
- by Mi Nueva SiluetaThe communications from Wanderful… The communications from Wanderful holidays were excellent! Very responsive and have us all the information we needed. The tours were excellent and the choice of locations for our trip was spot on. The hotel choices were very good. The locations were ideal, the breakfasts were amazing. I would like to call out the support we received from Rose and Lily it was like we had our personal guide with us! Please recognize Giulia for our wonderful tour in Venice. All the drivers were on time and provided excellent service.

Overall this was a lovely holiday. The car and hotels were of a high standard. Some more information about how to use tolls would have been helpful. The hotel in Stresa was excellent and in a great location. The holiday at Lake Garda was lovely but not in a great location as it took much longer to get to Verona as we were a way up the west side of the lake. Overall other than the crowds of people everywhere it was a well organised and great holiday
- by Amanda WilkinsonEverything was well planned. Hotels were exquisite, and suggested activities were lovely. No problems with all vouchers. Gorgeous scenery, and fantastic locations. We could have used a few more specific instructions with directions/parking info, for the suggested locations. Overall, we completely loved our lake region Italian vacation! Highly recommend.

Well organized. Excellent, helpful, knowledgeable tour guide. Of the four hotels, two were great and two were just ok. The locations visited were interesting and each town had its own individual feel. The add on tours were very good.
- by Geoffrey KraemerFirstly I would like to say that our tour lady was lovely and very knowledgeable. Our bus driver was also great, but the accommodation was very poor and also thought that the tour was not as well organised as it should have been. The bus stopped for lunch in two truck stops…. Why we had lots of time why couldn’t we have been taken to a small town for lunch? The accommodation was very ordinary the only hotel that was above ordinary was the last hotel, the tour didn’t represent good value for money. We were very disappointed and will not go on another trip with Cosmos.

I hate to admit the tour was bad! It was very unorganized! For example, we missed a boat tour because our tour guide had the wrong number of tickets. On another tour the same tour guide messed up our seating arrangement. It was supposed to be an English speaking tour we had spanish, Portuguese, and English speaking people. The hotels were far from everything and they were dirty (I have pictures of the mold and stains). The tour never even picked us up for our last tour and the bus driver made a creepy comment to me asking if I was gonna go dancing! It was creepy and unapproperiate. These are just so of my complaints, there are many more!
- by Christine BiddleWe enjoyed the tour itinerary, but thought that the hotels were sub-par, especially in Breschia: dumpy hotel in a sketchy part of town. It is a hectic itinerary and could be stretched out by a day. There was no time at end of the day to do other than: shower, eat a meal, and go to bed for an early start the next day.

Best tour I have ever done. Luca and Rici were outstanding. I will book with them in the future. Great value. Impeccable service.
- by James LaJeunesseWe were a family of four on this trip, made up of parents ages 58 and 72 and two adult children; joined by Paul, an energetic 82 year old Australian gentleman who had just come from a week of cycling in Tuscany. Of the five guests I was the only one on a road bike; the others opted for electric bikes. I found two of the days challenging with fairly long and steep climbs, but a breeze if you're on an electric. The trip was a lot of fun. The weather was great, the scenery magnificent, the food and accommodations excellent. Luca and Richi our driver/mechanic could not have been more accommodating or gracious. They are both quasi professional cyclists in addition to which Luca is a mountain rescue expert. You had the impression they could each take apart and reassemble a bike blindfolded. During the long ascents Luca stuck with me , making occasional forays ahead to check on the others. He and Richi are like jackrabbits on bicycles. Richi drove the van , and was always in the vicinity ready to offer up water and whatever other assistance we might need. He would sometimes go for rides in the evening. Both Luca and Richi speak English, so communication was easy. During our rides and mealtimes we shared a lot of laughter and camaraderie. We felt like they were old friends. They also helped us plan the remainder of our two weeks in Italy and stayed in touch with us via text messaging after the cycling tour was over.

Was amazing! Our first time in Switzerland and loved it. Hotel was perfect and the service man Chif gave amazing service and was a perfect interpreter for our poor Italian skillet. Want to go back next year!
- by Todd SchneiderThe self guided tour was quite good BUT it is REALLY important to read the directions with care and follow the suggestions regarding transport options as one days walk on a Sunday left us without transport as buses were not running that day. Some of the directions were a little ambiguous which probably resulted form minor interpretation differences between different English language speakers. For example us Australians have specific idea of what a "track" is which was not the same has the that used by the author of the instructions. A GPS also helps to accurately measure distances to turns and so on. Overall an enjoyable trip.
