I had a great experience. Active Travel was very hands on and picked great sites to visit (historical and food). My guide's name was Charlie and he was awesome. He was very knowledgeable, professional, polite, and overall caring about the experience. He was willing to accommodate everyone. Again I had a great experience and would recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful experience. We had a great guide whose passion for the mountains and the people was infectious. The guesthouses were great with the owners going out of their way to give us the best possible experience.

The Carpathian Mountains of Romania are stunning and we enjoyed each day of hiking this beautiful area. Kosten our hiking guide was knowledgeable and adjusted our daily hikes per our requests. His expertise and humour greatly enriched our experience. Accommodations and meals were good and mixing in some cultural sites of the area was a bonus. A great week!

My husband and I had a lovely trip. David our guide was lovely and fulfilled all our requests. Even though it was supposed to be a small group tour, my husband and I were lucky enough to be the only ones in the tour. The hotels provided were clean & comfortable. We did pay extra to upgrade to a better room in the hotel in Brasov, as it was too small and we felt cramped. This is the second time we have used Tourradar, and we happy with our trip 😊

David was a fabulous guide! It was the best part of our 3 week adventure in the Balkins!

Our Tour guide Tavi was EXCEPTIONAL. Full of knowledge and facts and going extra mile to make sure we were getting the best experience from the tour. I am still speechless from what I have seen and will defo recommend it. My group was absolutely amazing, Jo, Chris and Claire. First Solo holidays and felt totally safe and looked after. Easy way to arrange whatever was needed even out of the tour. Looking forward to book my next one!

This was a great tour showcasing so many of the wonderful sights of Romania. Highlights were the steam train trip, the painted monasteries and the Danube delta. Horea was an excellent guide, adding in a couple of surprises along the way!

My wife and I elected to take this tour for our honeymoon immediately after our wedding - going in, we didn’t really have much in terms of expectations other than to experience a new country together, experience a new culture and learn as much as we could. We were absolutely blown away - going up into Transylvania with our tour guide was an experience we will never forget - the museums, castles and monasteries were breathtaking as was the entire countryside. The guest houses we stayed in wanted nothing more than for us to enjoy our stay, the cooking was phenomenal and we got a true taste and appreciation for the culture. Our guide truly went above and beyond, we couldn’t have been any happier with our experience and my wife and I will be talking about our evening in Sighişoara likely for the rest of our lives!

Romania is now my favourite country. Spectacular. Bogdan was my guide for two days and then Marius took over. They were encyclopedias of knowledge. The places we stayed were lovely as were the hosts. Their food was great but sometimes the beds left something to be desired. Sometimes hard and lumpy. As I had had a knee operation, I found the walking up stairs difficult at times but I was helped with my luggage and stairs by the guide. If there was one disappointment it would be having to pay for entrance fees everywhere. I would have liked these included due to the price of the whole trip and as the places had already picked. I did not realise there would be so much walking. But, in saying that a private tour was the only way to go. I was it along with my guide/driver who was courteous, knowledgeable and always a gentleman. I wish the trip could have lasted longer.

This tour was excellent. We saw so much of Romania. All the sites were interesting, but would have liked more time at them. Our driver and guide was very knowledgeable about the area and the history of Romania. We really enjoyed Serban.

I have just completed 2 x day trips organised by Trip2ro. The 'Dracula's Castle and Transylvania' trip and the 'Transfagarasan Road' trips. Both were extremely well run and very informative, I would like to thank George for his assistance in helping organise the trips. The guide Serban who was entertaining, informative and a very safe driver. The scenery was spectacular, and the lunches were also delightful. I would recommend Trip2ro for anyone travelling to Romania. They were honest, and thoughtful in their rescheduling my time in Bucharest. Thanks George and Serban for the memories.

Excellent tour - all sights as good as advertised -driver Vlad, spoke excellent English and was a very safe driver as well as providing a great overview of the history of each historic sight. Thoroughly recommend.

Reiseunterlagen waren teilweise auf eine Bus-Gruppenreise abgestimmt, jedoch nicht auf eine Individualreise mit Mietwagen. Die benötigten Voucher wurden erst auf Nachfrage zugesandt. Der Tag in Kronstadt, an dem uns ein Reiseführer zugeteilt war, wurde zum falschen Datum angegeben. Es erfolgte eine 2-malige Reklamation durch uns, da nach der 1. Reklamation wieder das falsche Datum erschien. Die Übernachtung in Hermannstadt betrug 2 Nächte, angegeben war jedoch nur 1 Nacht. Im großen und ganzen erfolgte ein schlampiger Umgang mit den Reiseunterlagen. Der komplette Preis war überhöht, weil nicht das Preisniveau des Gastlandes berücksichtigt wurde
