The cities we saw were great. I would have enjoyed more time in Montreal and less time in Toronto. I did not like our accommodations in the Sepia Hotel in Quebec City. The room was nice but smelled musty or smoky and the floor was sticky. The shower floor was incredibly slippery and there were no hand rails for safety. Our guide,Marilyn, was great.
- by Lori DzumagaThe tour guide gave conflicting information to different people which caused us to have to take an Uber from our hotel to the restaurant for dinner and then the bus (that was at the hotel) proceeded to take others from the hotel to the restaurant.

Interesting tour, hitting all the high points on the east coast if Canada. Will come back again to spend more time in the cities as the tour touches on everything but not enough time which is expected. Very comfortable hotels and transport. The train to Halifax was great, excellent service and well worth doing, would recommend adding this on to all the trips.
- by Pamela IllingworthThis is a long overdue review and I don’t know why I didn’t take the time to write this before. This Ontario and French Canada tour with Susan was amazing. Everything was well organized and enough time were spent at each attraction. Totally have no complaints!

Very nice tour. Would have liked more time in a place or two but, overall, good.
- by Sharon Hill-AndersonOptional excursions were reasonably priced. Suggest you put together other places in each city as a walking guide or short taxi or uber ride. Example access to close by museums open late and could walk to from hotel. Free time activities and what they are and where located is helpful.tour guide can offer to accompany a group interested to explore more during free leisure tome.Provide more detail info about the logistics of site visits. Niagara falls..suggest more water proof gear clothing and shoe types etc. Terrain to expect when visiting certain sites and possible alternatives.climbing and how difficult-easy or more strenuous or advanced climbing activity. Overall, small groups so much better than filling up bus. Thank you for giving single travelers their own bus space. Would love to watch more travel videos on longer driving distances.

Our guide was fabulous. I learned a lot from her. The bus we had was very noisy, it shimmied, and was difficult to control the temperature throughout the bus. I would have preferred to have paid more money for the lobster supper and had a more refined dining experience. It was too rushed so all our courses were just piling up on our small table. The chowder tasted like flour and water. Another meal (can’t remember at what stop) our lobster and crab rolls were just on cold hamburger buns. I enjoy a dining experience, but unfortunately that was non-existent.

Please beware of this tour as many things are not included: Bike tour PEI didn’t happen Walking tour in Moncton and Halifax did not happen on our tour. And lastly please consider this as if I knew this before I would NOT have booked this trip. If you do not do the rafting “ as an optional activity” they literally don’t have anything else for you to do for three hours. Our tour guide went rafting and left the majority of the group behind. The driver was kind enough to drop as off at a mall to occupy our time. I did not pay that much money to sit in mall. I wanted to see the maritimes. Very disappointed in Contiki be
- by AnnIt was a great experience and the add on’s that Contiki offered were amazing adventures. The price of the tour was also great and completely worth it for what they gave you.

Only shortcoming was that there was no cream or Coffee Mate for the coffee — only milk. Next time, I will pack a container of Coffee Mate. I am hoping to experience one of their winter programs.

Local guides were generally well chosen - Jim the tuna fisherman and the lobster boat presentation were exceptionally good. The Rossignol winery was a waste of time. Alan the Acadian needs an editor. The Cabot Trail experience was not great - too much driving for too few iconic views. Hopewell Rocks on the Bay of Fundy was much better, by way of contrast, but could have spent an extra hour there. Also at the AG Bell museum in Baddeck. Overall we enjoyed it but found the pace generally too rushed.
- by Philip RobertshawThis was our 7th trip with Insight and this was a nice paced tour of the Maritimes. The tour director was excellent as well as the coach driver. As long as my wife and I can keep traveling we'll be going with Insight.

Tourradar did a wonderful job in all aspects of trip. Linda, the tour operator. Dave, the bus driver were excellent. The hotels were very clean, nicely appointed and the provided meals were very good.
- by Katrina KniezewskiGreat tour and wonderful guide and driver but missed our ferry ride back to Halifax and that is the part of the tour we were so looking forward too??

- by Sheila EwartI enjoyed this well-organized tour with key highlights along Newfoundland's Eastern coast and Gros Morne National Park in the West. In early June, we experienced persistent sea fog along the coast. When the sun peaked through one afternoon it was glorious! Highlights for me were seeing puffins in Elliston and experiencing the ecosystem and views of the Skerwink Trail, a challenging hike near Trinity. Sadly, we did not see any icebergs. They were well north of Twillingate. I recommend planning to arrive a day or two before the tour begins, if you're traveling at this time of year due to the dense fog which can delay flights into St. John's.

All was good and only wish Cabot Trail would have lasted two days not only one. Would have also liked a farewell party like my friend had with her tour which was almost identical to ours
- by Andria LandrieHi team I travelled from Australia to see cape Breton highlands. On the single day of our visit to the highlands our coach had technical brake failure. We were forced to wait for a replacement coach for 3 and half hours. This pretty much wiped out the afternoon session of our day trip to the highlands. Additionally I was not advised that Atlantic tour would be taking us. There was no one at the hotel to meet on arrival and as per our iitenerary.

This is a great trip! Our tour director Kim was very organized, knowledgeable and pleasant. We enjoyed her. Bob, our bus driver was a great driver, kind with lots of patience. The stops: Bar Harbor, Acadia, Halifax and Prince Edward Island were great. We had lots to do with the tour, but also had ample time on our own to explore. This was my first trip with Tours of Distinction. I look forward to my next one. I also enjoyed the smaller group size of 22.
- by Kerry MarroneDelta Hotel wasn’t that great with the restaurant not open for lunch. Our local guide was ok but he tended to go on snd on, but the regular guide didn’t do anything. We didn’t have any comminication from her and didn’t know what to do when we got there. We had no meet and greet meeting or anything. The front desk of the hotel told us when dinner was and lack of communication continued for the entire trip.We arrived at the falls when it was almost dark and barely had time to get a picture, let alone explore more. Delta Hotel’s buffet breakfasts were lacking. Most other food was good, especially the Parliment lunch. Quebec was beautiful. We liked the Ice Hotel the best. With some tweeks made, this could be a better tour.
