Excellent guide. Some sub-standard hotels. Inadequate communication from the tour operator prior to the tour
- by Maciej RogozinskiBuen Camino! This became my favorite phrase throughout the Walk because it became the connection between me and all the beautiful pilgrims walking with me. It allowed the opening of conversations and the sharing of stories and laughter in all different languages. I didn't come to this walk for any purpose or meaning, but what I found was happiness and freindship with my fellow tour members. And, just walking through the countryside - wow!

Everything was amazing! Our group leader really took care of us,from making sure we were all ok to getting us to some of the greatest places to stop for break or lunch and supper. She made sure we all could keep up & she was always smiling . I would definitely do this tour again !
- by Deborah DolanIntrepid does an outstanding Portuguese Camino 10 day trip! Was well organized and conducted, kudos to the Tour leader, Margareta. Especially liked the accommodations and the added extras like wine tasting, oysters, and celebration dinner in Santiago❗️

Hotel in Madrid was very bad although I asked the high fare available. Would have been nice more excursions through the day

What a wonderful way to enjoy the Spanish country's and some of its religious history that walk the last 130km of the Camino. It will not always be easy (hot humid days increase the risk of blisters) but the experience is worth every ouchie. The towns, accommodation and people are generally amazing even if the quality of food is a bit uneven until you get to Santiago. But food and drink incredibly cheap. Brilliantly organised and led by our Spanish guide David who went above and beyond to ensure we all had a memento experience. Definitely to be recommended to everyone with the capacity to have a decent walk
- by Bernie De VriesOur trip on the Camino De Santiago was great! And a good value too. Our Guide David did a wonderful job by providing details and pointing out unique features along the Camino. David was very responsive to individual requests for assistance with little problems that pop up. David was very knowledgeable about local foods and special dishes and very helpful to those with special dietary needs. Everyone in our group enjoyed their journey on the Camino. Thank you Tour Radar and Thank you David. John Outfleet

Great tour. Good transfers and accommodations. Suggest that breakfast be served earlier at ALL hotels and no later than 7 AM since we need to START walking no later than 7:30 AM to cover the long distances. Taxis also need to show up on time. Also do some research and let clients know where public laundrys are located near hotels. These suggestions would make your tour even better.
- by Anthony (Tony) LuceroWe arrived at our first nights accommodation in Sarria to be. Advised that there was no reservation under our name. Coupled with this, the accommodation advised was a 1 star apartment, not the Nice Hotel we had been originally advised. After being stuck in the footpath with luggage for an hour, desperate unanswered calls to TourRadar and the operator, UnCommon Tours, a new 1 star apartment was negotiated with the local slumlord. Next adventure was obtaining our dinner ma e real fast. We had no vouchers and nobody knew anything about them. It was a complete debacle and we were wondering if we’d been catfished. The remaining accommodation was reasonable quality, but unfortunately was nowhere near the location we hiked to. Some were upto 20km away and all required taxis to get toZ this really spoiled the vibe of doing the Camino - when you need to get taxis to and from the trail. Communication with the operator was poor and only via WhatsApp. TourRadar could not be contacted and merely clipped the ticket - no support at all. As a result, we will be advising all our friends to be wary of your radar as a provider as you don’t monitor quality of operators and don’t help when there is a problem.

Walking the Camino to Santiago de Compostela is an amazing experience. This self guided tour was a wonderful way to do it. The stops were well spaced out and the hotels were clean, comfortable and efficient. The food was adequate and at times quite good. The luggage service was fantastic. It was great hiking with just a day pack knowing your luggage would be at your hotel when you arrived at the end of the day. We found the maps and notes provided difficult to follow but extremely useful to get back on track if one gets “lost”. In general, the Camino was extremely well marked and one could follow the signs easily. Google maps was helpful finding our hotels which were not always directly on the way. Our stop in Padron was less than ideal - The Hotel Rosalia was quite a distance from town, was located directly across from the train station, and was a ways off the Camino. The room had a very strong odor of disinfectant that didn’t disperse with all the windows open. Other than that, the hotels were quite good and all were very clean. A special shout out to Hotel Restaurante Costa Verde in Viladesuso for the excellent fish.
- by Ellen WakeleyThe self guide was great. The I Buen Camino was lovely in the trail ,. The small hotels were all excellent and the receptions were clean and the luggage were be there. The meals were good of wine and water. If the restaurants on Santiago in Saturday were not reserved. You have a reservation it’s were be to go. Thanks

Sergio and his team did themselves proud - congratulations. This is a bike tour with a difference....from the excellent personal service, to the included walking tour of Porto, to the interesting and varied ride, to the high standard of the hotels especially the absolute gem Torre de Rio at the end of day 5. The ride for the most part follows the Portuguese Caminho way, so is not always smooth and easy, but this is to be expected by its very nature, and adds to the challenge. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and unreservedly recommend it to all enthusiastic cyclists.
