Smooth process and fast responses when needed. Hotels were located a bit out of the central areas but were close to public transportation to make travel convenient. Included breakfasts were great and tons of food options however we were unable to make use of some due to early flights or desired activities.

Placing hotels close to the train stations is helpful! This was an amazing trip… the order of city visits was perfect!

Excellent guide with excellent itinerary

Gave a great overview of wonderful places in Italy. I would recommend what others have said and get there an extra day early to Venice and stay an extra day in Rome. I also traveled to Verona and Pompeii, both of which I would highly recommend if you have a day to spend.

Very well organized trip. Challenging hiking trails with breathtaking views.

The scenery and accommodation was generally very good and particularly at Sestri Lavante. It would also be good if all rooms had a fridge. We found some the hiking very arduous and sometimes dangerous. I believe that it would not be possible for an 80 year old to complete most of the hikes. I am a fit 70 year old and found it very difficult at times. The maps were generally good although somewhat misleading particularly on the last day. Also there was no 6 o’clock ferry on the last day and were lucky to just catch the 5 o’clock ferry.

Tour guide was superb. The walks themselves were tougher than advertised.

The title of this tour is WALKS OF THE CINQUE TERRE suitable for 9 - 99 year olds. That is not accurate. This was a HIKING TOUR with difficult and steep trails - over 2,000 feet. We were not prepared (ie proper foot wear) for this level of difficulty.

We enjoyed the trip. Everything was planned well.

The service offered is very good and personal. They adapted to my request of an extra night and we had enjoyed everything.

Customer service poor. Like an earlier reviewer, we paid a deposit in March, the rest in July and two weeks out from departure date from Australia still no final documents. So not an ‘early season’ issue. All contact has been one way - us chasing them up to answer unanswered questions. Where’s the proactivity we’ve had with other companies we’ve used in the past. A response saying what past practice has been - which seems to be the theme running thru responses to low star ratings - won’t cut the mustard. It’s what you’re doing now .. and helping by reducing the stress associated with travel .. which matters. We only hope the trip itself won’t have similar sorts of issues once we’re on the road. Based on experience to date, not recommended.
