Northeast USA Tour Companies

The overall organization prior to the beginning of the tour was great and sufficient. Very friendly and helpful guides! They knew the best photo spots and provided some general background information. I would have liked a bit more facts about the places we visited and additional information such as historic dates and fun facts and so on though. The bus and driver were great as well. Unfortunately, some locations were closed due to public holidays and the upcoming presidential inauguration in Washington D.C. The guides provided good alternatives but it would have been nice to know in advance, that the itinerary needs to be slightly changed. The stops in Washington from were a bit rushed and a lot of walking was involved, which might not be suitable for children and elderly people. We went to the Canadian side for the Niagara Falls. This was not specifically mentioned on the itinerary. Even upon asking beforehand whether we will be leaving the US, it was said that we will not go to the Canadian side. This should have been clearly stated on the itinerary. For return trips to New York, a lot of time was spent on the bus (up to 4 hours). It would have been nice to know this in advance to better prepare. Overall great experience - I would recommend the tour in general.

This tour provides a great overview of significant places in Europe.

Trip was wonderful and very informative…a lot of history… the guides were wonderful! Need to be fit a lot of walking I highly recommends!!! Will travel again with this company

This was an ultra-well-organised tour, all facilities and information was of the highest quality. The tour guides were hand-picked to make sure that all tour guests had the best experience in their own language (even two tour guides if that was necessary. Exemplary experience, I can highly recommend this company as Top Notch.

I would like to share my experience for the future travellers to be aware of the challenges they might face when travelling to the USA. I have booked my trip on January for myself and my friend and we have encountered several problems: -1 - VISA to the US.Please be aware that you might need a Visa, an ESTA would not suffice. In this case try to fill in the application asap as the waiting times for an interview date is over three months. We could not secure an interview date before our original tour departure date (April) hence we had to reschedule our tour date to September which costed us £200/person. My friend had an interview date just 10 days before the departure date, thought this would be very very stressful and wanted to cancel the tour altogether in time (within 60 days before the departure date) and we've been told that in this case there will be no refund at all, she will lose all her payment (due to the previous rescheduling). She's had her Visa/Passport just in the very last minute so she could join the tour but the late purchase of the flight ticket costed her double. -2-no transfer available from the airport to the hotel, you have to book your own transfer -3-to our shock on the very first day in NY our tour guide informed us that due to crossing the border to Canada (Niagara Falls) we might encounter problems with our Visa. As we had 10 year Visa to the US we did not have any problems finally, but this had been an unnecessary/avoidable stress and this issue (Canada Visa problems) had been nowhere specified by the travel agent beforehand. -4- this was supposed to be an English speaking tour, but because the majority of the group were Germans, turned out to be a German speaking one. Our tour guide really tried to translate everything, but we've still missed out a lot, not to mention losing lots of precious time. -5-the tour turned out to be a basic one: done only what was absolutely necessary, nothing more. The optionals in NY weren't mentioned and the others had gone ahead only if weather permitting or fulfilled the minimum of 10 travellers criteria. -6- we had only one(!) proper breakfast included (in Williamsport) in seven days + two breakfast vouchers (valid for a bagel/muffin + hot drink) in Washington DC and no dinner at all (original plan included a group dinner?) On the other hand we had several breaks during the long travels between destinations, the scenery and the cities spectacular, the hotels are very good and the tour guide had been knowledgeable and helpful.

Good variety. Difficult having two languages spoken though. Also the bus was not great. Some seats were damaged. It wasn’t clean from the start.

Your tour guides and drivers are five stars how lucky you are to have them. Very special people and full of knowledge. Your company is not the best. First two days Niagara Falls. Van leaking oil. Could have been fixed in the first three hours. But backward and forwards until a resolution. We ended up very late into Canada. Our driver and tour guide excellent trying to solve problems and get us to our destination before too late. Next two days Washington and Philly. Philly Armish trip amazing. However Washington because of inauguration of Donald Trump everything closed and hard to get. We were suppose to go to the space museum but when our tour guide phoned he was told no ticket for us. We paid for space museum, American history museum could not get into Arlington cemetery. No foresight of Trump visiting. We arrived in Philly to be told a storm is expected so any sight we were to see to today were closed. So, not a great trip no thought ahead by your company. You have amazing people working for you. But you are hopeless as a your company.

Never again will I go anywhere with this company. A 4 day trip actually 2vdays on each trip both trips equally as bad as each other, bad organisation up own arse tour leaders, yes there was more than one leader. Guests were played as pawns throughout trips to satisfy leaders egos, as I said at the start never again will I book with this company

Tour director and driver were excellent!!! We were very disappointed with the coach. Something happened and apparently we didn’t get the bus we were supposed to. This bus was old , dirty, the seats didn’t work, some of the windows lost their seal so it was hard to see out of them. The video system didn’t work for the tour director to show pictures. On a positive note the food was great and the accommodations were very nice. The director and driver took it all in stride and that helped. Guess when you spend the amount of money that you do on these trips you expect a little better.

Pam and Shawnee were exceptional. The tour met our expectations and went beyond.

Good trip, covered all the main areas. Guides were very knowledgeable and informative. Accommodation excellent and bus very comfortable.

Great trip, Ben & Raphael, the guide & driver were first class. Only 2 things spoilt it for us. The hotel in Niagara & the transfers that we couldn't access. A taxi & an Uber cost me a total of 160 dollars

A very good tour, we would recommend it. Our tour guide Liz and driver Rob were very good and the specialist guides, particularly Jackson in Washington and Bruce in the Amish community, were outstanding. The surprise packet was the visit to Lancaster, we really enjoyed it.

Very disappointing tour. Only 1 day out of 7 actually stuck to the advertised itinerary. Very little time to explore places, bus got lost on more than one occasion, activities were cancelled with no adequate alternative and our highlight hotel was swapped for a very poor alternative, miles from anywhere, which meant extra hours on the coach instead of seeing the area. We complained and have had absolutely no satisfaction. They admit the tour was disappointing but will not even consider any sort of refund or compensation. Don't use this company if you want the advertised holiday. They apparently have the right to change as much as they want without any comeback.

I was hoping we'd stop more so that I could take more pictures of foliage but overall I enjoyed all that we did. Brigette is a great person, with a fantastic personality.

We really enjoyed our hike through the Presidential Range in NH. The trip was well organized and the our guide Sean was excellent! We could not have asked for a better guide. He was very informative on what to expect each day as well as extremely patient with all of us. We learned so much from him as we travelled from mountain to mountain and would highly recommend Sean and Wildland Trekking if considering a hiking trip. Sean - we can't thank you enough for making our hike a such wonderful and memorable experience and one that we will always remember.

This trip was run like a school trip, we were told that we had to stick to the schedule rigidly even though I asked several times to visit a different museum/shop. Free time was limited and it seemed like the guide had specific ideas of what he wanted to do and see. Our guide also left us on a subway in New York to get home close to midnight and then we had issues getting checked into the hostel. FYI most tour guides make sure their group gets to the hotel safely and without hassle. Waste of time and money.

A lot of travelling but you get to see a lot in a short amount of time. Excellent guides!

Experienced an informative and fun North Shore of Boston adventure with our tour guide, Nabil. His level of historical knowledge was incredible and his enthusiasm for the sites was infectious. We highly recommend this day long excursion.

We had the best time on our tour of Lexington and Concord. Both towns were quaint and historic and BEAUTIFUL! Allison was a great tour guide, taking us to places we would never have stumbled across on our own. Perfect school vacation day trip!

Hilary was wonderful very knowledgeable and informative. The hole trip was organized and very pleasant staff.

The schedule is just right; the hotels are excellent and the travel director is well prepared. Only one thing, may I suggest the meeting time at the first day change to 7pm instead of 6pm. This may make me easier to plan my flight.
