The tour is great! We have seen all Big Fives, including the most elusive leopard. The landscape is magnificent! The tour guide, chef, truck and gam drivers are all pleasant, responsible and helpful. There are a few things I wish I had been informed before the trip: 1. Visa for both Kenya and Tanzania; 2. Bring sleeping bags, towels and toilet paper (this is esswntially a camping trip); 3. Plenty of small bills of USD be cause it's the preferred currency from tourist. As long as you are well-prepared, this is a tour if life time!
- by Jeffrey WangI really love my Serengeti trip! The workers were awesome, Jacob, Evy, and Eric rocked it! They were always ready for anything. The food was always delicious and we never went hungry. People said they liked a certain thing and she made sure to include that. Jacob was helpful with setting up and always told us what to expect and was full of knowledge. Eric was an awesome driver.

2 gals successful summit to the top of Kilimanjaro in 6 days had planned 7 round trip ! This wouldn’t have been possible without the excellent advices and support of almighty Kilimanjaro team Frankie and swalehe! Our crew were absolutely brilliant we felt so well looked after they couldn’t have done enough for us. Musa gave us our morning wake up and every morning he came with a smile and with that we always knew it was going to be a great day no matter what the challenge was! A great experience all round! Summit night we had an extra team member omali walk with us and he was just the best addition to get us through the final push but a massive thanks to you all ! It was a team effort! I could write all day about this experience but it’s best to just see for yourselves how amazing they are !

I recently embarked on a 4-day luxury adventure with a prominent Professional Safari Africa company, and my experience exploring Tanzania surpassed all expectations. The itinerary meticulously curated by the team blended wildlife encounters, cultural immersions, and relaxation seamlessly. From the moment I touched down in Kilimanjaro, the attention to detail was evident. The luxurious accommodations, ranging from opulent lodges to secluded tented camps, provided a perfect balance of comfort and proximity to nature. Each day brought a new adventure, whether it was witnessing the breathtaking Serengeti migration or connecting with the Maasai people in Ngorongoro. The knowledgeable and personable guides Medison enriched the journey, offering insights into Tanzania's rich biodiversity and cultural tapestry. The wildlife safaris were nothing short of awe-inspiring – lions, elephants, and rhinos roamed freely against the backdrop of stunning landscapes. Beyond the safari game drives, the trip included moments of relaxation at exquisite lodges, where I could unwind and savor the flavors of Tanzanian cuisine. The entire experience felt like a seamless blend of adventure, luxury, and cultural immersion. 4-day luxury Tanzania adventure was a transformative experience that left me with memories to last a lifetime. I highly recommend this travel company for those seeking an unparalleled exploration of Tanzania with a touch of luxury.

The Lemosho Route offered a perfect balance of adventure and acclimatization. Every day brought new landscapes, from dense forests to the scenic Shira Plateau. The extra days helped us adjust to the altitude, and summiting was an unforgettable moment!
- by stephen ngowiThe Machame Route was an incredible adventure! The diverse landscapes, from lush forests to rocky trails, made every step unique. The summit night was challenging, but the sunrise at Uhuru Peak was worth every bit of effort. A must-do for adventure seekers!

Lappet Faced Safari goes beyond the Big Five, showcasing the often overlooked beauty of smaller creatures and plant life. The guides passion for the entire ecosystem enriched our understanding of the interconnected web of life. An eye opening journey for those seeking a more holistic safari experience.

The tour was good. Just be sure to ask ALL the questions before you pay. Provider made promises they knew they couldn't keep instead of just being honest. (Number of people in the vehicle). The description in one place says tour begins in Arusha, but in the details says it will pick you up at the airport. They should remove the part about picking you up at the airport or at least tell you they are going to charge you over $100 pp for the transport to hotel BEFORE you book, not after you have paid... especially considering all the people on our tour came in on the same flight. You can find much cheaper at the airport. BUT having said that, the owner did eliminate the transfer fees when I pushed back. The driver/guide was excellent at spotting the animals. The only complaint I would say is he was quite a bit less aggressive than the rest of the jeeps while waiting for the wildebeest migration. They would always rush ahead of us and then we would need to find a spot. BUT, we always did find a decent spot. I really don't want to be too negative because overall the tour was great. There was also a mixup with our accommodations one day, which found us driving an extra hour AND throughout the entire trip 3 groups ended up staying at different locations which was time consuming in the mornings and afternoons. I think this may be pretty normal during high season. But I still can't say I would not recommend this company or the tour. Overall I think it is good value, and amazing opportunity. The 10 days gives you opportunity to see different national park reserves along the way, which is great because you are not driving directly to the Serengeti, as it is a long way away. The other parks included are well worth the visits and break up the long drive. I would do it again. Make sure you know when the wildebeest migrations are occurring (Typically July/August) if you choose to go during wildebeest birthing season just make sure you know when that occurs. The main thing is to set your expectations. You may not see every elusive animal.... but for the most part we did, except for the painted dogs. You are not going to a zoo, you are going to the natural habit of wild animals. Some places charge for water, some don't, it's never really expensive but just be mindful of it. The tour includes pretty much all meals except for the first supper when you arrive in Arusha. The meals were OK, there always seemed to be something you could eat, but not always something that was above par, but again, overall a good experience. Some were better than others. Be sure to pick up some drinks and snacks on the first drive day before you get on your way and out of civilization. The jeeps in the Serengetti are not typically windowless. There are windows you can slide back. The front ones are quite large but the bottom ones aren't as big. Once you get to a place, the drive/guide will open the top so you can stand up and watch. We met some people who were on "Luxury" tours but honestly, they were staying in the same locations as us. Only thing different was fewer people in their vehicle for what we could discern after talking with them. So, long review, overall experience was quite amazing.... just as I said, do your research before you go and ask as many questions as you know to ask.
- by Randal LaKingWe had an amazing Tanzania safari to Tanzania! Our guide was gracious and knowledgeable and found us so many animals, including all of the Big Five! Kiriwe Travel made the booking so easy; Frank was wonderful to work with. Everything ran so smoothly and exceeded my wildest expectations. If you want to see it all and just book 10 day Tanzania great wildebeest migration. It was truly stupendous! We will be sure to book with you again in the near future!!

Would never consider doing any mountain tour with anyone except G Adventures. I have also done other high elevation tours with G Adventures and they are my “go to” company for travel.
- by Edward FranklinI got Covid from someone in the group. For a high altitude hike like this, we should have been tested for Covid. It not like I could avoid it, we ate together in an enclosed tent.

This was the most outstanding vacation out of all the places I have visited together with my husband. The blend of savanah grasslands, forests and bush made it ideal for game drives. Baraka our guide was in his best element as he really impressed us with his animal spotting skills and knowledge of the parks and animals that we came across. He really made us feel special and we could see that he was genuinely there for us. Each of the tented camps that we stayed in was set in an amazing location with excellent views. The food and service was really top class and we are so happy with Hamisi's selection. The vacation was truly exceptional!!
- by DanielleWe consider ourselves lucky for going on a trip with super guide Bright of Zara Tanzania Adventures. The game drives with him were amazing and we enjoyed the many encounters with elephants, lions, cheetahs, wildebeest and many other animals. Broght was brilliant as a guide, he knew how to handle the guests and as he kept us captivated throughout the trek with his stories and general conversation. We loved the personal touches, good food and excellent services at the properties that we stayed all through. They were perfect! There are so many little things that made our vacation special and I am truly grateful to Zara Tours for putting it all together.

My adult son and I are just back from an amazing week with Adventure Makers Tanzania guided by the wonderful and knowledgeable owner Stephen. This was my second trip to Tanzania - the first trip being a luxury wildlife safari. For this trip, my son and I sought something much more distinct and special, with a locally owned company that could give us a customized, flexible, and intimate visit to Tanzania with knowledgeable local insight. We wanted to experience in depth the cultures of Tanzania - and not limit ourselves to the amazing wildlife - which we saw in great abundance! We could not have done better than spend a week with the very personable Stephen - a kind, warm, humorous, knowledgeable, flexible guide - deeply local but with perfect English and a very keen knowledge of Tanzania, its wonderful peoples and cultures, as well as all manner of wildlife - plants, birds, wild game. We spent amazing days with the Maasai, Datoga, Hadzabe and other tribespeople - days that were truly experiences of a lifetime. We also visited local villages showing us an insight into local Tanzanian life with its great diversity of cultures, foods, beers and peoples. This was definitely not a "Disney" tour - but an honest visit with truly authentic local people and lives. For each experience Stephen paired us with a specialized guide who spoke the local tribal languages of these very traditional cultures which enabled us to see unvarnished life as it happens. Special appreciation to Andrew who showed us in-depth daily life in the village of Mto Wa Mbu and to Faustin - a Datoga tribesman who was our lifeline to both the Datoga and Hadzabe peoples. We danced with the beautiful Maasai, tried our skills with handmade bows and arrows with the resourceful Hadzabe people on their daily hunt, and experienced the Datoga who skillfully turned crude charcoal into blazingly hot fires using goat skin bellows to melt, forge and hammer metals into fine arrow tips and jewelry. What amazement to experience the resourceful Hadzabe create fire in remarkable speed from skillfully twirling dry wood, as well as experience them living a hunter-gatherer life as they have for at least the last 10,000 years. Trying to track with them through the very wild bush including towering ancient Baobob trees will never be forgotten. Every step put our daily lives in very real perspective, and gave us an appreciation of the talent and abilities of these people to maintain their traditional ways in the face of overwhelming change all around. In addition to the cultural aspect, Stephen treated us to a memorable day in the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. In our one day there we saw a staggering array of all the wildlife that Tanzania is famous for. Our day in Ngorongoro with Stephen was filled with steady wildlife viewing across the caldera floor. We spotted several wildebeest herds moving through the grasslands, and a couple of warthogs trotting along with their characteristic bouncy gait. Near the hippo pool, where we stopped for our packed lunch, we watched the resident hippos surface occasionally with loud snorts. The day's highlight was finding a black rhino - though quite far off, it was still clear enough to observe. A pride of lions rested in the grass, sleeping, and we came across a small group of hyenas moving purposefully across the plain. The Cape buffalo were perhaps the most numerous of the large animals we encountered, scattered in groups across the crater floor, among many different species of antelope - large and small. It was quite a day. Many thanks to Stephen who was knowledgeable, ever-resourceful and happily willing to be flexible at each turn to give us the wonderful experience we enjoyed. If you want an authentic experience with an outstanding local company - we highly recommend Adventure Makers Tanzania and Stephen. You will enjoy the experience of a lifetime.
- by Dallas ParkerSpending 7 weeks in Tanzania at the moment, including 4 days/3 nights in Arusha National Park climbing Mt Meru. Stephen took me to me the Hadzabe People who still hunt with bows and arrows, then visited the Black Rhinos and African Wild Dogs in Mkomazi National Park. If you want to see the real Tanzania with or without the pre-packaged tourist trimmings, then Stephen and Adventure Makers are the guys for you.

Traveling with this company is a great experience, and their guides are excellent. I was very impressed by their services.
- by Christopher WalkerThe experience was fantastic! We had the chance to see all of the Big 5 animals, which was truly thrilling. The game drive itself was a real adventure, though we felt quite exhausted due to the rough roads inside the park. In hindsight, the number of days might not have been enough to fully enjoy and immerse ourselves in this type of adventure.

I had an amazing 8-day trek with Kilimanjaro Economy Safari. The guides were knowledgeable, encouraging, and ensured our safety every step of the way. The itinerary allowed for great acclimatization, which made summiting more achievable. The team of porters and cooks was fantastic, providing delicious meals and great support throughout the journey. The views along the route were breathtaking, from lush rainforests to glaciers. Kilimanjaro Economy Safari offers an affordable yet high-quality experience, and I highly recommend them for anyone looking to conquer Mount Kilimanjaro
- by RmaliI recently had the incredible experience of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with Kili Economy Safari via the Machame route alongside my father. From start to finish, our adventure was made truly special by the exceptional team that accompanied us on this journey. Our guide, Julian, was not only knowledgeable and experienced but also incredibly patient and attentive. His guidance and encouragement throughout the trek were invaluable, ensuring that we felt safe and motivated every step of the way. Julian's passion for the mountain and the surrounding nature was infectious, and he shared fascinating insights that enriched our experience. Isack, the chef, truly amazed us with his culinary skills at high altitude. Despite the challenging conditions, he managed to prepare delicious and nourishing meals that exceeded all expectations. There's nothing quite like enjoying a hot and hearty meal after a long day of trekking, and Isack's cooking made our evenings at camp a true delight. David, our waiter, was always friendly and accommodating, making sure we were well taken care of at mealtimes. His warm hospitality and friendly demeanor added a personal touch to our dining experience, and we appreciated his attentive service throughout the trek. The porters - Gamaya, Shaban, Adam, Muha, and the others - were the unsung heroes of our expedition. Their hard work and dedication behind the scenes did not go unnoticed. They skillfully carried our gear, set up camp, and ensured that everything ran smoothly, allowing us to focus on the climb itself. Their camaraderie and positive attitude were truly inspiring, and we are grateful for all their efforts. Together, Julian, Isack, David, the porters, and the rest of the team at Kili Economy Safari created a supportive and welcoming environment that made our Kilimanjaro climb an unforgettable experience. Their professionalism, teamwork, and genuine care for our well-being were exceptional, and we couldn't have asked for a better crew to accompany us on this adventure. Thank you for everything!
