It was our third trip to Vietnam, before we were visiting it for a beach break, but for this time we decided to take and adventure trip in the mountains. We have heard a lot from other travelers about Sapa and Ha Long Bay and wanted to visit it. We were unconfident to arrange this trip by ourselves and decided to book it with Realistc Asia. It was a great decision for us. Our travel advisor Hien has recommended us this trip as we wanted to get a full insight into Northern Vietnam. We couldn’t expect more! We visited local villages, and the market in the mountains, met many interesting people. Personally I was blown away with the views in Mu Cang Chai, it is probably one of the most beautiful places I ever visited. For those who want to see rice terraces I recommend to go there. We got all what we wanted: adventures, less visited areas, beautiful sceneries and authentic experience. Hien, thank you so much for organizing everything! You are the best!

The tour was perfectly planned, even though I booked it at very short notice. I made a mistake by choosing the wrong arrival date, yet the perfect solution was still found for me. I could ask questions continuously, and Ha (Evelyn) was able to answer all of them – thank you very much for that. Every day was well-organized, and the journeys from one place to another were very pleasant and comfortable. Dear Ha, thank you for the enjoyable time and your dedication during my trip. Vietnam Tour Fun had been providing excellent service and support throughout our trip. Ms Mai Hoa started to connect with us a few days before we arrived Vietnam. She was contactable throughout the whole trip. We scheduled to have Halong Bay cruise in the last 2 days in our itinerary. However a typhoon was approaching Vietnam and the government announced no cruise was allowed to set sail for safety reason. Ms Mai Hoa immediately contacted us and offered alternative trips for choosing. The difference in the tour fee was refunded to us after our trip finished. We were very happy with the services of Vietnam Tour Fun and Ms Mai Hoa. We had a great time there.

Fabulous adventure seeing multiple parts of Vietnam. All transport arrangements were seamless in terms of collection from hotels, airports and trains. The trips all gave us a well thought through experience of culture and natural world. The first half is fast paced in terms of moving daily, the second contrasted well with 2 three night stays.

Commmunication was absoloutly brilliant. Id strongly recommend if your travelling alone

Homestay was beautiful. Food was very generic. Tour guides don’t give you much insight into their culture unless you ask. They also hustle you to the give them good reviews on the spot, when you’re trying to relax. With Sapa tours in particular, a few people from the tour guide’s tribe/friends will join. They will offer to help you walk through tricky/slippery parts of the hike, then ask you for money at the end. I quote “I help you, you help me”. Sapa is a beautiful place and I still recommend going regardless. I do think all tours in this area have the same issues, which is disappointing.

It was really fun. The only negative thing were many locals who tried to sell us stuff!

The website has recommended trips. I emailed our own wishes and they customized a trip for us. We had a private tour for the two of us at a much more reasonable price than options we were given by other companies. Our guide Teo was excellent. He was an experienced cyclist and trained tour guide with very good English

The trekking through the villages was great and the hotel was really nice. Just be aware that it's not a tour as such they have just booked every separate element for you, some more information prior to the experience would have been reassuring.

Hotel was very good, home stay was a good standard, meals were a good standard, helpful host. A really good experience.

The excursion to the village of Cat Cat, the surroundings are nice, but the village is all souvenir stores.

Organisation of tour was seamless, pickups, guide, meals, hotel all went to plan. The guide Vu was great, she was well organised, excellent communicator and went at a pace that suited the group.

The tour was very good. Our guide Li in Sapa was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable and was from one of the local villages in the area. Fabulous couple of days. Swan cruises on Halong Bay was also very good. The staff were excellent and we went to a quiet part of the Bay. Best price Tour staff were very responsive and we would recommend their company.

Hannah, the Hanoi rep did an excellent job coordinating all aspects to the tours. The guides were all excellent & knowledgeable. Accommodations in Sapa & Halong boat exceeded expectations. Meals were delicious & plentiful
