The guide was amazing, going above and beyond

The trip was great. Well run, great leader and driver.

This tour was on my bucket list as Halloween is my fav time of year, plus I love the vampire theme, but aside from that this tour was one of, if not THE best guided tours I've ever been on & I've been on at least 10. Romania is spectacular, SO beautiful! The itinerary was FAB, plus saw all things Dracula, where Vlad was born, where he was entombed, the castle, the Carpathian mountains, but also I think what made the trip so special was our guide, Laurentiu. He was fantastic, he's from Romania, grew up there, so much fascinating knowledge, was funny & easy on the eyes too! ;) But not only that he was always calm, cool & collected, very articulate speech & never rushed, made 4 a really relaxing & pleasant tour, he is just the best!

Our tour guide Laurentiu (aka Lawrence) was amazing. He was equal parts informative and funny. Very easygoing and answered all our questions. The itinerary itself was good. I would definitely would have liked at least an entire day in Sibiu and Sighișoara at minimum and another whole day in Brasov. I would not mind if the tour was longer and the price would certainly be worth it. Romania is a much more beautiful country than I expected and I can’t wait to visit other parts!

My husband and I had a lovely trip. David our guide was lovely and fulfilled all our requests. Even though it was supposed to be a small group tour, my husband and I were lucky enough to be the only ones in the tour. The hotels provided were clean & comfortable. We did pay extra to upgrade to a better room in the hotel in Brasov, as it was too small and we felt cramped. This is the second time we have used Tourradar, and we happy with our trip 😊

David was a fabulous guide! It was the best part of our 3 week adventure in the Balkins!

Our guides were excellent, our transportation and lodging was well organized. Our guests houses were pretty good. The cycling was very good on bikes that were able to get the job done. We were able to develop our own maps for cycling, but provided routes would have been better. With hot weather, some of the guest houses should have at least provided fans. Overall a positive experience and one that I will recommend. Thank you!

It's one of the best fun Trips and tours I been on in my life. It was very well done and Exceeded my expectations. The organizers were beautiful and had everything planned out Perfectly. Dinner parties and Food were fantastic. Great value a beautifulcountry of Romania.

Great itinerary. The hotels were all in good locations and comfortable. Really enjoyed the local guides and learning of the history of Romania and Transylvania.

Guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the Romania. Hotels were amazing and all the towns we visited were beautiful. Would like to have more inclusions considering the price we paid for the tour. It’s a bit sad when you are shown a cable car trip to see the view but it’s not included then you do an amazing tour of Peles castle but our ticket did not include the bedroom floor. It started to feel like we were on the budget tour.

I had a great experience. Active Travel was very hands on and picked great sites to visit (historical and food). My guide's name was Charlie and he was awesome. He was very knowledgeable, professional, polite, and overall caring about the experience. He was willing to accommodate everyone. Again I had a great experience and would recommend this tour.

The tourist guide was excellent.

I got to see a good amount of Romania in only a week. My favorite was all the castles! It was an easy and stress free way to travel. :)

Tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Driver was safe. Places visited were worth seeing, other than Dracula's castle, but I suppose it's one of those things you have to do when in Romania.

Fabulous tour showcasing local artisans and gems of historical interest. Guest house stays wonderful. Highlights Desesti Church, Sighisoara and fortified towns of Biertan and Viscri. Bear watching in national park awesome. Alina, an excellent guide, willing to accommodate our group's extra requests.

Bogdan and his crew have a really amazing operation in Romania! This tour takes you around to all the must-see areas in Transylvania. From exploring the ornate halls of Peles Castle to touring the colorful painted houses of the Sighisoara Citadel, this tour has something for everyone and is sure to give you a wonderful first introduction to the beautiful country of Romaina!

Our tour through Transylvania was a great experience. We saw a lot of the Romanian countryside and visited numerous castles, fortresses, churches, citadels and beautiful little towns. Bianca was a very pleasant tour guide and the journey by car was very comfortable. We learned a lot about Romania, but we would have liked more information about the individual stops and the historical context. We also had a lot of free time on some days, which we would have preferred to fill with other guided program points.
