Hawaii Tour Companies

Great tour guide, Michael M. Great hotels. Wish we had more time on the beach, for swim and that we would stop for photo op. Too bad for Maui fires, we would have loved to go to the other side of island- the stay in Kauea was hurried and rush/rush.

It was a good trip. We saw a lot in all 4 islands, the accommodations in the hotels in Hawaii, Maui and Kauai were fantastic. The hotel in Honolulu (Twin Fin) was in need of updating. The location was good and the food good, but the room was without a chair and was a little seedy. The excursions we went on were fabulous. Loved going from island to island but were disappointed that no accommodations were made to get back from some of the excursions. We were not comfortable with having to find a cab to get back from whale watching or the sunset cruise and elected not to go. There should also be recommendations made for getting to the hotel from the airport and help with getting back to the airport at the end of the trip. All in all, a very good trip, good sights, good food and the group on the tour were wonderful.

I was very pleased with the organization of the trip with Globus. No issues to report.

Tour guide was excellent!

My first experience with an organized tour like this. Expense alone will limit future trips. Much more walking than my wife was prepared for. This alone reduced her enjoyment. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and thorough with his planning and execution. Andrew has a fun personality and very personable. Insights Tours are always amazing and this one was no exception. Nice balance of free time to relax and experience Hawaii on your own with visits to places on the islands to experience the culture. Learned a lot of Hawaii’s history throughout our visit. Overall a lovely experience and would highly recommend if you want to visit Hawaii and learn more about the islands.

I've done a lot of traveling, but this was my first time traving solo. Our tour leader Dianne was amazing. I had a wonderful time with the group & will definitely be booking with them again!

Bamba Travel was the only tour operator which responded and agreed to help me plan my tour in Hawaii. Although I would have liked a more thoroughly organised tour like pick up from the cruise terminal and transport to the Kualoa ranch organised, I had to take the public bus by myself. It was a bit daunting but Bamba gave me some instructions. At Hawaii it quite easy and safe to take public transport during the day. Bamba was helpful at every step. A bit slow with regards to correspondence bec of time differences as they are in the USA but they would respond daily. Thank you Bamba for helping me organise a tailored plan to meet most of my needs. I had a great time in Hawaii.

All in all, a very badly organised tour, especially considering how much I payed. To start with, despite providing my airline details, no hotel shuttle was booked for me. As such, I had to pay $30 out of my own money at the airport for. Day 1: Hanauma Bay Snorkelling - Another poorly organised tour on behalf of Bamba. They gave the tour company the name 'Arthur' instead of 'Alex', however luckily for me they understood my situation and still agreed to take me. Day 2: Boat Ride - I didn't even bother doing this. It is organised for 7am, at a hotel a 50 minute walk from the hostel I was staying at. I did however meet a fellow traveller, that also booked through Bamba, and told me the experience was not the best. As such, I was actually very glad I decided to miss it. Day 3: Waterfall Hike - Actually, this was very good, nothing but positives. The tour guide was amazing, and I had a very enjoyable day Day 4: Pearl Harbour - Due to Bamba (again!) giving the tour company the wrong name, they refused to let me on the bus. As such, I was left at the bus stop with nothing, and waited for about 40 mins hoping that another bus would turn up and let me on. I emailed Bamba telling them how dissapointed I was, and they agreed to rebook it for me. However, I asked them to rebook if for saturday, they instead booked it for friday. As a result of this I has to pay another $30 out of my own money to reschedule tours that I had booked for myself on Friday (my free day). All in all, I would not book this again. I would recommend that you should instead book the hostel (Polynesian Hostel Beach Club), and all subsequent activities yourself.

Everything was interesting, well planned, great tour guide, and even the bus drivers were great!

Terrific tour! Great accomodations and meals, great tours and a great Tour Guide in Chad Nelson. I Survived The Road To Hana! A long, twisting road through the mountains, very memorable.
