Climbing permits
Trekking permits, visa entry requirements, and vaccinations are an essential part of planning any adventure across the world, and in Nepal, it's important to complete the necessary research before you arrive. It is suggested that you have at least four passport-size photographs for all of your permit requirements.

Visa entry & vaccinations requirements for Nepal
Visa
Nepal welcomes travellers with open arms, and the entry process is relatively simple for most nationals. Travellers from the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand among others are able to purchase a tourist visa on arrival, and it can be paid in US dollars. You can either submit a form online or fill in your details on arrival.
Visa entry requirements are always subject to change, so it is best to check with your embassy before you travel.
Vaccinations
There are no compulsory vaccinations needed in order to visit Nepal, however, it is recommended by the World Health Organisation that travellers receive a yellow fever vaccination (depending on your itinerary), hepatitis A and B, rabies, and typhoid.
Before you travel, make sure you consult a health professional before you depart to ensure you have the latest vaccinations and are in good health to travel.
