Our top itinerary for 10 days in France

Day 1 - Paris - Admire the glittering cityscape of Paris, past grand boulevards and iconic sites like the Champs Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe.

Day 2 - Rouen and Honfleur - Venture to the city of Rouen, the tragic site where Joan of Arc was burnt at the stake. We travel to the enchanting harbour town of Honfleur - its narrow lanes and colourful shop fronts have long attracted artists who have immortalised its beauty on canvas.

Day 3 Normandy, including Omaha Beach - Pay tribute to the brave souls who lost their lives on the D-Day Landing Beaches of Omaha, imagining the sense of terror and triumph felt the fateful day that Allied forces set foot on mainland Europe.

Day 4 & 5 - Mont St. Michel - Visit Mont St. Michel's medieval Benedictine Abbey. Legend has it the abbey was built after the Archangel Michael appeared to the Bishop of Avranches, inspiring him to build a church atop the island.

Day 6, 7 & 8 - Loire Valley - Visit the Amboise Royal Château. It is here that King François I hosted Leonardo da Vinci, whose tomb now lies in the Chapel of Saint-Hubert adjoining the château. Continue with a visit to Chenonceau, built on the Cher River. The château is often referred to as the Ladies Castle, due to the many women who influenced its construction and development. Today it contains priceless collections, including Renaissance furniture, tapestries, and masterpieces by Rubens and Tintoretto.

10 days French Riviera itinerary

Day 1 & 2 - Nice - Start your trip in the stunning city of Nice, a coastal pearl of the Mediterranean known for its legendary opulence and balmy beaches. Explore the antique market and hunt for local treasures. Visit the Cathedral of Sainte Reparate, an architectural gem located in the center of the Old Town, or Vieille Ville. This Baroque cathedral is one of France’s national monuments, known for its extravagant interior and expansive artwork collection.

Day 3 - Grasse - Explore Grasse and learn the secrets of perfume making during a hands-on workshop and tour of the Fragonard Perfumerie where fragrant formulations have been prepared since 1782.

Day 4 & 5 - Monaco - A tour of Monaco will introduce you to the Place des Armes, Avenue des Beaux-Arts, and the Cathedral of Monaco, the permanent resting place of Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace.

Day 6 & 7 - Cannes and Antibes - Walk in the footsteps of celebrities when you see the Film Festival Palace and the iconic red carpet featured during the Cannes Film Festival. Visit charming Antibes to enjoy the typical Provençal market and explore this ancient port town, a favourite of Picasso and F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Day 8 - Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat - Head to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, referred to as the crown jewel of the French Riviera, where you’ll visit the impressive Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. Uncover the lush gardens replete with jaw-dropping views of the Mediterranean Sea.
