Here your wines are paired with locally produced cured meats (called ‘biltong’ in South Africa). Knysna

Start your day with a leisurely stop at the Knysna Heads. These towering sandstone cliffs flank the mouth of the Knysna estuary. Soak in the exquisite views from the various lookout points.

Addo Elephant National Park

Visit Addo Elephant National Park - the third-largest national park in South Africa. It opened with only eleven elephants but is now a sanctuary to more than 550 of Africa’s gentle giants - the largest remaining population of wild African elephants in the world.

Oudtshoorn

Travel through the twisting roads of the Langkloof Mountain pass and arrive in the self-proclaimed ostrich capital of the world, Oudtshoorn. Visit an ostrich farm for a peek into the world of ostrich farming, as well as the chance to get beak-to-beak with the bird with an ostrich farm tour. End your day with an ostrich braai (bbq) where you’ll have the chance to sample gamey ostrich meat, along with other South African braai staples.

Route 62

Travel to the outskirts of Oudtshoorn to the Cango Caves, which are nestled in the foothills of the Swartberg Mountain Range. The incredible 20-million-year-old formations fill the underground caverns and are illuminated to show-off their extraordinary curves and shapes. From the caves, begin the journey home along Route 62, which also happens to be the world’s longest wine route.

Cape Town

There is something for everyone in Cape Town. Visit Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, walk the V&A Waterfront, or embark on a wine tour in and around Stellenbosch. For the adventurous, opt to go skydiving, abseiling, or, if you're really brave, cage diving for a close encounter with a great white shark. Greater Kruger Area

Kruger National Park

At over 19,000 sq km (7,500 sq mi), South Africa’s Kruger National Park is one of the largest and most impressive animal reserves in the world.
