    Communication and organisation with Bamba were really good! Our Tour-Guide Willy taught us many things about the beautiful country, the area, flora and fauna. He was always helpful and friendly. We would recommend this tour for everybody who wants to have some fun (rafting/ziplining/mountainbike) besides the hiking in the jungle. Food and accommodation were good on all days. Thank you for this trip and the experience!

    Absolutely fantastic. Our contact at Bamba Experiences was so responsive and helped us in a number of tight spots. On one morning, our tour guide for Chichen Itza never showed up. Bamba immediately called them and worked out another tour day for us. We were blown away. Other than that, the lodgings were very comfortable. Nicer locations were slightly further away from the city centre, however, so I would suggest giving people 2 options for lodgings (and then they can prioritize convenience over ambiance, if they wish). Also, finding an English-speaking clerk at the bus stations (to print our tickets) was a little daunting, so perhaps offering us the chance to pre-print bus tickets before our vacation would be more useful. Other than that, it was great and very well-priced. I will 100% be booking another trip with Bamba again.

    The tour in and of itself was excellent. Non-stop breath taking views for four days, a quite challenging hike and the Grand Finale, Machu Picchu. Our tour guide, Vicente Chacmana Barrientos was amazing. As I struggled with breathing in the high altitude he encouraged me all the way. On day two right after we reached our highest altitude I twisted my ankle. This made hiking down the quarry very difficult. Vicente wrapped my ankle and my opposite knee which also began hurting from the decent. He was running up and down the mountain back and forth a million times to make sure I was ok as well as the others in the group that were much faster. It was a lot and he did it with a smile and great attitude! I’m very appreciate of him and would highly recommend him and this tour if you’d like an unforgettable experience. I also highly recommend stopping in for a massage after your trek. It’s well worth it!!!
