I'm from the tourism island of Jamaica so I'm used to high service standards to guests, but the service on this trip blew my mind away. From the start, the tour advisor Richard Ramos went out of his way to help me through a ton of challenges - from getting a Dubai visa to dealing with Oman authorities to changing tours to adjusting flight schedules - Greyline need to double anything you pay him as I would have dropped out long ago if it wasn't for him. It didn't seem like I was treated differently from other guests so if this is how he helps everyone, then he's a priceless asset! Then when I went on the tour, the tour guide took it to another level. Unfortunately I picked up a bad flu (I thought Dubai was the desert - to my surprise it was colder than Jamaica!) and he helped my with getting medication as zi limped along. Very helpful and friendly again - I was out of it so I've forgotten his name, but again top notch! I was sick so had to skip a few excursions as I couldn't move, but still, the service alone made it an enjoyable experience. I'd recommend everyone to Greyline UAE, but do your research on the weather first!

Good overall trip but the brochure needs some updating as some sights are closed and will continue to be so for a very long time. It was distracting having different groups come and go from the UAE portion. In the Oman portion we had two different language guides which was also distracting. Grayline vehicles had problems several times and caused us to join other buses and other bus breakdown passengers to join us. It was not ideal. Due to picking up other stranded tourists we had one hour to gallop through the Louvre in Abu Dhabi! Guides were scrambling to cover the itinerary. Oman part of the tour was much better organized with the same small group. Hotels were fine and the food was very good everywhere. A welcome meeting would have been a nice thing. We had no idea when to meet on the first morning.

The Tour itself was marvellous! All the highlights of Oman are covered and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Hotels are clean and a fair deal for the price. Only with the car rental company we had a rough start. (The Tour is organized by a local subcontractor -Kurfan Tours- in Oman). Initially they brought us a car with 186000 km on the odometer, without working lights and a fault in the brake system (!). Upon complaining, the car rental company exchanged it against a fairly new Toyota without problems but still it was a hassle as not everybody speaks English there. Overall, I'd do it again and I'd also recommend thisTour to others. Just be aware that sometimes you need to insist on proper conduct. P.S. The car rental fee includes only 200km per day. That's not quite enough. So calculate a bit more for extra km (50 Baizas per km).
